Vijayawada Ammavari Temple Prasadam Making - Happy Dusserah - Food Wala

Hello foodies,
Wishing you all a very Happy Dusserah. Here's a special video showing the preparation of divine Bezawada Kanakadurgamma prasadam. On the auspicious occasion of Durgaashtmi, we are here to shoot the special preparation of Pulihora & Laddu which is served a naivedyam to Durgamma.
Laddu -
Laddu is being prepared with besan & sugar. The besan is mixed with water to attain the batter consistency. Then fried as boondi & mixed with sugar syrup, finally form a laddo.
The laddu price is ₹15 for regular one & ₹100 for large one. Due to pandemic the count of laddu's being prepared is reduced from 50,000 to 10,000 per day.
Due to this unavoidable situations the Pulihora is being served for free.
Pulihora - It's well known that pulihora is often served prasadam in almost all the temples. The rice is boiled with haldi & the cooled, mixed with spiced tamarind pulp, tadka & groundnuts. Packed & served at a price of ₹10. Due to pandemic hit, Daily count of 3,00,000 is reduced to 2,00,000.
