Bowhunting Mountain Lion in Mexico: 😳 Is it really the Best Wild Meat? 🤷♂️

- On this second video from our hunting adventure in Mexico, we take advantage of a mountain lion permit they had in our area to experience a really interesting and exciting traditional way of hunting these animals.
To be honest, bowhunting mountain lion was never on top of our list, and after experiencing the whole hunt first hand, we were really surprised in many ways.
At the end of the film we did a blind test of the different wild game meats that harvested during our whole trip, and the results were mind-blowing. It is interesting to try the meat without actually knowing what you are eating, so your mind doesn´t play tricks on you. We tested the wild game meat of Coues deer, Sandhill Crane, Geese and Lion.

A muchos mexicanos nos parece chocante la caza, y mas de especies tan "raras" o poco comunes como un puma. A muchos desde niños se nos enseña que hay muy pocos animales y que debemos hacer todo lo posible por protegerlos.
Pero es importante aprender que la caza legal y regulada es fundamental para obtener los recursos necesarios para proteger nuestra fauna. Por mas contraintuitivo que parezca.

I guess anything is edible if one is hungry enough, but thankfully I am not hungry so I won't be eating a carnivore like a mountain lion. They can claim that it's the best tasting meat in the world but no way that I will be eating any of it!!

Ive never hunted with dogs like that. I think its kinda like hunting with a bird dog but the bird trees. If you need the meat ok, you can be selective. But its cheating as far as sporting goes. I think wi dog laws on wolf sums it up. You can shoot a crap ton in a short time. Not very sporting though.
