From Zelda Wiki - "The most notable feature of Master Quest is that every dungeon in the game has been modified to increase the difficulty of the game. Each one features a different layout, changing the progression through the levels. Enemies are spread differently throughout the dungeons, and tougher enemies are encountered much earlier on than in Ocarina of Time. In addition, some Gold Skulltula locations in dungeons have been moved, and certain items that are optional in the original version are now mandatory to complete the game."
I played and beat this version of the game on the Nintendo 3DS, along with the normal version. I believe I still have the game, with at least one save file per game that is 100% completed. xD This game is amazing.
I would still dream that Nintendo would actually make a "True Ura Zelda" where there are new items and new dungeons set in OoT's Hyrule.

Even Bombchus are necessary in Ganon's Tower, were they not? What is actually required now? Ice Arrows? Deku Nuts?
You did this on my birthday why thank you! I got that crazy Lego set and now it is time for you to vote which one is the best!!!!!🎉
For years, I wish I could play this version for a good challenge. The original is too easy based on my longtime experience.
It can be unlocked in the 3DS port of Ocarina Of Time after the main game is finished.
37:14 Nice hooter. ;-)

In Nintendo 3DS version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest, it appears to be mirrored.
So this version was originally on the 64DD? This used the same "engine" as Collector's Edition?
it was meant to be, but never actually released for the 64DD
@@worldoflongplays Oh, I see. Still good that they decided to release it on the GC.
26:39 OMG it's math!
This should've been the N64 Zelda i played, but i could never find it. Ended up settling for the 3DS games
Good, you never found it. Now I will treaure mine even more. 🤣🤣🤣
I never liked 3D graphics and environment art in this game, they are so repulsive... A Link to the Past (SNES) is a much better game...
