    I got about a minute and a half in, and i just started to break down crying in my room. My life has been so hard lately, but this was just so beautiful and somehow meaningful to me i couldn’t help but cry.
    Thank you

    I normally don't like Marimba and Piano duets because I find them to be uneccessary compositions. But this piece is very very well composed and absolutely beautiful.. Thank you for sharing this to the world !

    Decades ago I was lamenting that there are no more true great composers ... I believe have now found one --Arno Chu ..and I believe Bach ,Tchaikovsky and co. would agree !

    It's so good omg!!!! I already told someone if they want to do this with me and they also said yes automatically. so just need to find time and start it. This is now on my list to do before I graduate, since I am a senior in high school, this would be a great piece to play for my final year with my best friend ❤️

    Did anyone not notice Arnor looking at his invisible marimba self while playing the piano? It literally makes it look so natural and that they're 2 twins playing a beautiful piece. Wow, simply amazing, marimba is so hard! I can play "A cricket sang a set the sun!" I hope I can play at least one of Arnor Chu's songs or maybe even compose something myself! Keep up the amazing work Arnor! ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

    What mallets did you have in each position? I would love to try and replicate the sound you get out of the marimba with your selection.

      In order, I used the VF M122, M123, M123, M124. Your touch, the instrument, and the room will all be big factors in your sound as well, so I encourage everyone to find a setup that works specifically for them with their style and setting.

    On measure 47, you notated a 3 note chord but In vid there’s a 4 note chord, was this intentional?

    Genuine question; how do you go about recording these two parts separately while maintaining the same interpretation of rhythm and time? This is a fantastic piece and performance, by the way.

    • @ArnorMusic
      @ArnorMusic  2 роки тому +5

      Lots of practice and pre-planning for every tradeoff, writing every detail in (as you should do anyway). In terms of recording, I record as if I were actually playing with another musician, recording the part that leads first, and then the accompaniment after to ensure musical cohesiveness.
