I love Milwaukee’s customer service. Just sent a grease gun in and got it back within a week and half. Also sent in a 12ah battery that was a 1yr out of warranty and they sent me a new one for free under a “Good Faith” replacement.
That’s good to hear, I have a few 12AH batteries that will only take a partial charge… I should send them in!
Really? Ive got 2 bad 12ahs... I was told batteries aren't covered in any way.
@@rowankeltizar5961 there covered for 3years. Just sent them in through e-service
YES you aboslutely should. You will more than likely get brand new batteries sent to you.@@VCGConstruction
I’ve never had to pay to have a tool repaired through the E service. We use Milwaukee at work. We are a national/international government contractor so we have a lot of tools. Milwaukee has alway honored the warranty. More than half the time they just send just a new tool. Overall, I really like Milwaukee, I can sometimes be frustrated with them but I have to say their warranty really is top notch. As far as potentially charging to fix your tool, that’s obviously if they determine the damage was done from neglect or user error.
I’m a plumber and I had a blade get stuck in a saw. I did everything but couldn’t get it out, so I figured I’d send it in cause my local supply house does the claims for us and worst they can say is no. Sent me a brand new saw couple weeks later. Pretty awesome
I just sent a battery back to milwaukee 2 weeks ago. From me shipping it to them, then they replaced it with no charge to me, and it getting back to me was 8 days. Love this level of customer service and warranty.
Every time I ever sent in an M18 tool to MW, even if it's out of warranty, they have sent me a brand new one. Read that again. Every time I ever sent in an M18 tool to MW, even if it's out of warranty, they have sent me a brand new one. I was told that the e-service center in Greenwood MS doesn't actually repair stuff, they just send replacements. So I'm surprised they they actually repaired yours. And my experience has been the same on not getting any sort of notification what they're doing when they send you something. It's like they want it to be a surprise. I've got a couple of items in there right not so I don't want to hex it but fingers crossed. That's why I keep buying MW, because they take care of customers without the hassle. That's not going to happen with Harbor Freight tools. It's different than it used to be years ago with the corded tools. Those you send in on your dime, they repair parts and send you a bill.
Hi Vince, @vcgconstruction
Remember past video i was telling you about my M18 Hammer drill took a dump.
Well i took it into my local Milwaukee store. They sent it out, and i got it back very quick as well. It needed rotor, trigger, and sone kinda electronics.
They fixed it, sent it back. Its like new again! 👍💪
Milwaukee tools top notch service, thats for sure!
Cheers from NEPA
@VCGConstruction
Yeah man! Super happy it worked out.
I'm gonna see about taking advantage of that trade in program for upgrade tool.
Hello again, Vince and Vcg
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 That helps a lot as I am researching for my next tool purchase. Question for you. Will Milwaukee be adding the new battery safety device to the M12 line? Again thank you 😊
Excuse my ignorance George, but I don’t know anything about a battery safety switch for M12. Can you explain a little more and I’ll reach out to them and see if they’ll answer me.
Had a couple cells in a dewalt 6AH XR battery go bad. Dewalt asked me for some info off the battery and sent me a new. Didn't even ask for the broken one.
Never had problem getting warranty work done, I've always took it to the dealer I bought it through and they sent it in for me, just keep your receipts incase number on tool (manufacturer date)gets rubbed of the tools, plus there's usually several months difference between date manufactured and date bought.
Love this video, id like to see more on tool brands ease of warranty use. Nothing beats walking into a brick and mortar for a direct replacement and not being down a tool for an unspecified amount of time. But this information is very important
Yo Vince! *how ya dern?* As you may know, every single m18 tool i have has been sent off for warranty work to be done through their e service. No issues whatsoever. In fact, they've sent me a brand new replacement more than half the time. Warranty=awesome
Tool endurance= meh
Take care and God bless! 😁👍✌️
Did you mark your saws somehow so you know that you got your saw back?
Six years ago I had my M 18 hammer drill, fail the chuck was bad…. Milwaukee had me take it to the local Milwaukee repair in town and I got my drill back the very next day and then after that I had two other chucks put on it And after that, they just gave me a brand new drill
They usually inscribe the original serial number on the tool somewhere. At least that’s what they did with mine in the past
I said the same thing about how nice the shipping box was than the one I sent. Lol. I just sent my brad nailer that was jamming frequently and got it back in a week. Two months from the warranty ending. They put the 7 brad nails that was left in the cartridge in a gallon ziplock. So far so good! Easy e-service and fast turnaround. As for batteries, they always just send a replacement.
Zipper broke on my tech backpack. Called and found out it has lifetime warranty. Got a new one sent to me quickly. Didn't require anything shipped to them. Just product number. Had a hole saw arbor and saw get fused. One call and got both. They are the easiest to work with. Well Pit Boss was just as easy with my pellet grill.
makita service center in store great same week got my radio fix and my drywall gun all under warranty no receipt
The main tool I've had problems with from milwaukee is my circ saw. Think 3 times it's been back to the shop, it was broken when I bought it. Its working now and done alot of work this last 12 months with no issue but it's been a massive headache before hand.
Good they didn’t charge you but hopefully they would ask you first if they need to charge you crazy they don’t tell you that 😮
They’ve been very generous to me. I had an impact fail for the same reason twice after being repaired. They sent me a brand new one
Milwaukee is great and so is this channel
Go Vince!
My Rear Handle saw blade wobbles.
I don't know why the Diablo blade wobbles, and then starts going off line! Doesn't cut straight with the rip guide.
Any suggestions or I should just take it in.
E-Service IS Great!
What batteries you running in it? If it’s wobbling it could be the driveshaft is bent
Glad to see Milwaukee stood behind this one.
The Bosch warranty is highly regarded in the United Kingdom. In the event of a warranty claim, Bosch provides exceptional customer service. They will arrange for a courier to collect the tool from your job site or home and return it promptly after repairs, all free of charge. That's why all my tools are bosch
Lucky you they refused to fix my m12 impact driver that was only two years old and they had repaired it once already about three months in. They said it had been exposed to moisture well duh I live in Florida and do HVAC work sometimes you get caught in the rain. The amount they wanted for repair was within $30 bucks of new and I told them no and wanted it back that was over 2 months ago. No tool
Great to hear Milwaukee lives up to their warranty!
Im reading all the comments and seem like everyone had a great experience with the warrenty, even co workers i know have had no issues, me on the other hand have not been so lucky, the anvil on my milwaukee 1/2 high torque impact snapped off and was having battery connection issues. Submitted my eservice paperwork and tool still had a year of warranty, they emailed a about two weeks later and said my tool was out of warrenty and was going to cost $250 to repair, i was confused so i called and asked why it wasnt covered and the rep said because the anvil isnt covered, i said well thats fine ill order an anvil, could they at least fix the loose battery connection issue and they said no it would have to be the whole thing repaired. Very very disappointed in their warranty from my experience.
i do like Milwaukee's customer service but no one beats bosch i sent a hellion charger in and got the new one three days later lol anytime i have to warranty something with bosch its always easy and fast milwaukee is very good though
Hey Vince, this video got me thinking about my Milwaukee tools. I didn't fill out a warranty form, and I don't have all my receipts. How can I avoid any charges if my tools broke down. Please help me out with some info on this.
It’s all done by serial number so you don’t necessarily need all that documentation. Although in some cases I guess it could help… but not necessary
Fortunately I have a service center 15 minutes away so I don't need to mail things. When my Surge™ driver stopped working after 1 month I just dropped it off and they fixed it. Worst Milwaukee tool I have. They also told me that it is only made for light sheet metal screws and that I was asking too much of it to drive deck screws. I fell for the marketing hype when it came out.
I got the 7 1/4 not the rear handle it was warrantied once for not working. Went out again after the 5 year mark. Frustrating has got hardly any use maybe 20 battery cycles.
I happen to have a service station near my house. They take care of a majority of the name brands. So the turn around time is a lot less.
Hey vcg!!! Kindly request that you do a m12 band file review thinking about pulling the trigger one one and youve never led my wrong before love to hear ur take on it ty keep it up ur vids are awesomr 👍
I have a drill driver that has died on me. I purchased it in 2020. I don't have a receipt for it anymore. On that e-service page they ask for proof of purchase. Am I out of luck?
Can’t believe they really sent that blade back
Had to warranty a DeWalt battery and saw once sent them a fb message with the issues and pic of receipt and they sent me new ones and did not even ask for old back
I'm thinking perhaps the potential fee is something to do with mistreatment of machine? Since you looked after your tools you didn't void warranty.
❤ Hi Vince! Great Warranty info! Was wondering if the plastic Vacuum Attach Accesory on your Circular Saw was an authentic Milwaukee Item or a custom 3d Print Accessory of yours?
I've tried multiple times to have my miter saw that came with a broken piece repaired. They have never emailed me back.
never thought you'd have to warranty a Milwaukee tool
Who do you think Milwaukee is, Hilti? At the end of the day, Milwaukee is still just another Chinese product.
Are you joking? Milwaukee tools break all the time. They are no makita.
Vance... I am happy that this worked out for you and all, but, what is with the shirt. It's spooky 👻 and scary. I'm sure kids watch this channel as it is family friendly and such, but why do you want to scare the kids with such a spooky shirt? I guess my question here is.......why do you hate kids🤷
@jennarichards it's not satire! ToolReviewZone stays calling out Vance McMahon!
I need to send out 2 of my M12 5.0 HO batteries to Milwaukee. The tabs are broken on both but I’m not sure if they’ll warranty that. Either way, I’ve always had a great experience with Milwaukee and their warranty repairs/replacements.
@@VCGConstruction
To be honest I’m not sure. Each of them have 1 broken tab. I usually would just order a new case from Amazon to repair it myself but they don’t seem to make the case for the 5.0’s yet. I’m going to guess it’s from taking the batteries in and out. They are definitely much harder to remove than the regular ones in my opinion. I don’t really beat on my tools either but they are used every single day.
Not bad at all… I just dropped my truck off for service and hoping for a similar experience 😂😢
I guess it nice that I work t a company that makes you buy your own tools but they replace any power tools that break on the job
Too bad these tools fail a lot. Good video !
@vcgconstruction… Milwaukee did real good fixing ur saw for free and that fast , kudos to them

Muchas gracias!
Dial up Internet that's dinosaur age isn't it. Yeah I like free repairs.
They saw it was for Vince and made it happen!
If they realized it was mine they might have thrown it in the trash! 🤣
Very good Video. Glad you got your Saw back and repaired! 🧰👍😍
Ridgid just mails you a new one 2 day air
Sounds like my nail gun from Milwaukee worked one day just stop the next day😨😳
Very Cool Vince
@VCGConstruction yeah it's great when a company stands by it's products
Not at all impressed with the e service! I bought a brand new 12v detail sander and I used it right out of the box and it lasted exactly 10 minutes. Called Milwaukee and went through the steps you mentioned. What pissed me off was the fact that after a week, they still said it was in transit to Milwaukee. A week later, I got notified that it was being repaired. A week later I got notified that it was being returned. At no time did was notified what was wrong with it. When I called to get clarification, I was told it wasn’t repaired, just replaced. Really? You made me wait 3 weeks for a replacement? When you could’ve just sent me a new one right away? Best customer service regarding warranty repair is Makita and Dewalt hands down! Better customer communication and lightning fast repairs
The down time of the saw per day pays for a new saw. Stepping over dollars to pick up dimes.. When mine went out I tossed it and pulled out the trust rusty corded saw. I would never buy that POS again.
All circular saws break eventually
👍
They did that with my half inch impact from Milwaukee😡 bait and switch
They wouldn’t have fix your tool then charged you without telling you.
@@VCGConstruction never did got it back and they wanted more money to fix it😡
Ridgid warranty. I don't worry about the tools or the battery
I had more problems with the Rigid warranty process than anyone else. I registered EVERYTHING and they still screwed me over
Ridgid always finds a way to weasel their way out of their service agreement. I’ve been shafted twice
Flex has been good but my guess is that it’s just since it’s a “new” power tool brand. “Keep the customer happy first 5 years in business”
@narutobroken Maybe I should switch out of Ridgid. I sent in a drill, and it went fine.
Though, I don't want to go through a bad warranty claim
Shave the beard😳
I sent in my electric ratchet about a month ago just heard from them last week and they are wanting to charge me 180 bucks to fix my tool I've had it for about a year and the only thing that broke on it is the plastic piece behind the trigger and they are wanting to charge 180 bucks for that this is the first time I've ever had to send 1 of there tools in and this is not a good first experience with them mind you I have 10 of there power tools and as they mess up later on im thinking of switching to different brand @Milwaukeetools
