Hear you shy! Miss it as well, Wish i could experience somthin like it again! Its as formal says, unless you were apart of it you just have no idea. H2/H3 era was one of thee greatest gaming periods in history. Xbox live & halos beginning together was such a special time. It was truly epic!
It’s a shame they didn’t get Gandhi for an interview here. He was formals biggest advocate back in the day.
If no one said so, Halo was dropped by MLG after Halo 4’s first tournament.
And loads of pros spoke to going over to CoD because of lack of money.
i competed at that event. if i remember correctly, the community knew it was halos last event with MLG despite that event being on the schedule. i had been to 2 events prior to the halo 4 and the overall "section" of the halo 4 tournament was shrunken down and very small, with no main stage at all. there was a big projector and that was it. it was a huge bummer

@@jarde1989 That metric means less than nothing. Nobody played it. It was terrible. And killed the franchise in competitive. Quinn Delhoyo single handedly killed GoW and Halo.
@@KnightyKnight the community made it work but the game itself didn't really do much to help the comp scene from what I remember. I feel like a lot of people either stopped playing or moved to other games during H4.

That’s why I say old halo is better because it left that impact that the newer halos tend to lack. Old halo was the best part of my childhood
Was also just a product of its time though. Halo was a revolution in a brand new industry w/ little else to compete with it. It left an industry-wide impact and helped move gaming forward to where it is today. Nowadays Halo is just another gaming franchise in a red ocean full of other similar options

After Black Ops 4 I’d say it started getting worse. MW2 and MW3 are terrible for pubs but competitive is pretty fun
It sucks Xbox has a tax they have to deal with, and all of their IPs don't get the proper love or respect, smh. But hopefully things will change, soon.
They need to get Halo outta exclusivity. Xbox is dying the only thing keeping Halo alive is PC now ...

Halo is no where near where it couldv been if it wasnt on xbox exclusively.. get ur facts right. And if u compare it to even COD WHICH IS WAY WORSE OF A GAME. Its uncomparable. Infinite HCS is WAY better than H5 was even with all it's problems. If they can fix networking/desync inconsistencies some it will be way better than any of the Halo's since H3.
I miss Snipedown though....but he's way more complainy now. Seems like he doesn't like any game honestly.
I dont understand why people keep saying halo infinite is not there yet?? The game is good. Better than halo 5 for sure.
