Tahir was so worried about 2 foot of snow. As a kid near Chicago in 1967, I remember my dad DIGGING A TUNNEL in the snow to our elderly neighbors house just to make sure they were o.k.. The snow was OVER the roof of our house!!
In 1978, I was shoveling snow off the roof of our building at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center because there was so much snow on top (nearly 6 ft) they feared the weight would collapse the building.
      2 feet is NOTHING!! 🙂
Now in my 60's and in Tennessee, everything closes if they see a single snowflake in the air!!

Surprised that Tahir mention Buffalo and the snow, I don't live there, but an hour away and we get all the snow as well we live on a snow ridge with Chautauqua Lake 2 miles north of us and Lake Erie 8 miles west of us and generally we get between 250-300 inches every winter. Jerk Chicken yum and whoever does the cooking nice job on most of your recipes. Someday it will be nice to see some of their food prepared. Blessings to all the production crew and cook as well as the 4 gentlemen and your families. 😊🇺🇲

Mr Tahir Mawab is tuned into world news on internet and social media very well as he knew of the major snow storms and blizzards we recently suffered in Canada. We have storms sometimes where the snow can be right up to the top of lamp poles with the blowing snow off the lake here in Ontario, Canada. I have been through snow storms that left 8 feet of snow in Montreal, Quebec. Could you mention that to Tahir.

One of my all time favourites! That's it I'm making jerk chicken tomorrow and having it with sweet potatoes. I actually love how they are being very analytical about this dish and seem to be able to relate to it more than some other stuff they've been offered. Totally love Tahir's advice that if the weather is rubbish don't go out 🤣, I'm with you there Mr Tahir!

Enjoyed the video but, jerk is not served with ketchup. To truly have jerk, one must have it cooked over green pimento/allspice wood, Ideally, served with hard dough bread or festival(sweet fried corn bread). Its nice to see other cultures enjoying our food. Bless.

Actually Jamaican jerk chicken has a lot of influence from the Indian Sub Continent. Many of the spices used to make the dish are spices that originally came from the Indian Sub Continent.
These spices were then taken by the British to the Caribbean and adopted by the Afro Caribbean populations they brought to the Caribbean.
Furthermore, there was a huge Indian Sub Continent diaspora that was also taken by the British to the Caribbean and their cuisine greatly also influenced Caribbean culinary.
