I happen to have hit level 22 before. However I can't remember my exact score, I only remember it was over 7 million...

Have you ever considered stalling on the earlier levels to inflate your score?
The timer gets faster and faster, and you can bump up your hitghscores by stalling on each level until it almost becomes too fast for you.

Get myself up to level 37 and... boy... that level is haaard. Staying there to inflate score, currently 170m.

Seems like a better tactic to just stay around level 10 or 11 and slowly build my score. I keep losing before I can make it to 13!
Update: I made it to level 15. Phew.

The online version of Bejeweled 2 is a lot harder than this. And there is no Grace time. I'm still stuck on Level 5.

ali8888 Jewel Puzzle, which is exactly this game, is hard as well. You'll have hard time passing Level 5. Just one little difference in mechanics can make all the difficulty spike. Jewel Puzzle can be played at www.y8.com.

In lvl 22 is good but hard if some one get into to lvl 300 xD
