This mindset is why I love golf. The reasoning Keegan gave for not going is why I’ve always loved him too. Guys like him, Rory, Jordan make golf what it is. Enjoy the money though, Brooks.
I just don't understand why every golfer can give honest interviews like this. We all know why they went to LIV, and that fact makes us grimace whenever we hear a BS "PR" reason. If they just answered with "money," they mightn't be any more respected for their reasoning, but their integrity would still be intact
They all say money for less tournaments plus the huge bonus if the do win as an individual or a team. It’s easier living but do you want to win your events or make money to play golf is the question for a lot of these guys. So I feel if you’re past your prime and have the opportunity to make guaranteed money you’re probably going to take it
I'm agnostic as to the players that chose to play LIV. They were paid a lot of money and as Keegan said that is what this is about. I do not support their access to tournaments that they don't qualify for or have a standing exemption for. "That's what the money was for". I do wonder if they dreamt of being either a PGA touring professional or a LIV touring professional though. I suspect it was the former.
“Bla bla bla bla…” I’ll translate what Keegan said, for you all. What he means is he never got an offer from LIV so he’s still stuck slogging it out in the PGA
Sure Saudi bot. I'm sure he's wiping his tears with his 50 million dollars about not getting to play in ridiculous team golf tournaments that nobody is watching and is going to fold in 5 years.
@@cd852 no bots here, just laughing at everyone crying about LIV. Who doesn’t want a pay rise doing the same job? Theyre all lying and crying foul, if they got the same offer as those who moved to LIV they would’ve jumped ship in a second
May find Keegan Bradley playing for the Fireballs, Blueballs, Sweatyballs or whatever cool names LiV has soon. As he said, he is one of the older guys on PGA tour now and every new young player has like 180 mph ball speed minimum. Competition is yougher and Gotta think of retirement and best plan is the easy money on LIV.
Nobody in LIV is missing out on majors, it's just harder for them to qualify the same way it's harder for a player on the asian tour to qualify. And there's a reason for it. Those tours suck, just like LIV.
If you play for LIV you should not get to play in the majors or any other PGA event. You made the choice to take money from Saudis - and the consequence of that choice is you no longer get to play the traditional events.
What? LIV made players that switched sign a contract that if they stop playing on the LIV Tour they must pay LIV 4 times what LIV paid the player to go over to them in the first place. Pretty much forcing any LIV to not join the PGA
Why is it just accepted thar rhe pga tour has discriminated against players. Its just other tournaments. Have to admit its made me root for the underdog
Pga tour players are the most pampered athletes on the planet. Wtf are you talking about? It's just a matter of how many billions Liv is willing to lose b4 they pack it in. Hopefully those guys that left will be permanently banned from the real tour. You must be a complete pos to root for a guy like Greg Norman.
@@Supermoneygang12 but y’all forgot the pga tour at one point took money from the Saudi’s too. Frick, the European tour hosted an event there for a few years. How are they any different? Why do they get the moral high ground and get to put the LIV players down? it’s because it’s a corporate money grab by the pga tour trying to keep their monopolistic hold on golf.
@@awesomeness5464LIV Tour is just an awe full product compares to the PGA. It’s the reason no one cares about it or watches it. Not what ever other reason you read online from the media or random Twitter comments and you believed lol
@@awesomeness5464 how have they discriminated against players? That would be like WTA Tennis pros going to play for another league just because they were throwing more money at them. Liv isn’t as competitive as the PGA in terms of they don’t have to worry about missing a cut, they play less rounds, and get paid a lot of money simply for participating. Singular pro sports shouldn’t be doling out money for simply participating they should get paid for making the cut which means you played well and thus deserve to be paid accordingly
Must say, he seems like a very nice person! 👍
Keegan gets it..he realizes the integrity of the game is more important..and he also realizes he's not hurting financially

Just became a huge fan.
Well spoken Keegan , unlike some of the haters on the USA pga !

This is a healthy take
The Majors are not exclusive PGA Tour events. If you play LIV you shouldn’t have to miss out on Majors. NO TOUR OWNS GOLF!

It’s a Pga major lmao have LIV start their own isn’t that what they wanted? or they want all the good stuff about pga still AND the extra money 😂😂
You may think that. But you’d be wrong. The pga is golf.
If you play for LIV you should not get to play in the majors or any other PGA event. You made the choice to take money from Saudis - and the consequence of that choice is you no longer get to play the traditional events.
Hey Keegs.
They went for the blood money from the Terrorist Tour
Banning them from rejoining the tour is bs.
what? everyone would’ve left if there was gonna be 0 consequences. they knew they’d never play on tour again and they accepted that
What? LIV made players that switched sign a contract that if they stop playing on the LIV Tour they must pay LIV 4 times what LIV paid the player to go over to them in the first place. Pretty much forcing any LIV to not join the PGA
Liv was the one that said that they can’t play any PGA tournaments for 4 years or else they would have to pay 4 times the money they were offered
