I was thinking the same thing!!! I also think the super bright colors and eclectic patterns work because it's a super expensive house and they assume a decorator did it so they don't question the crazy patterns. On a smaller scale with the patterns and colors, it would be too chaotic.

Look, I’ve only gotten a quarter of the way through this video and already I can tell you that saturated color choices and brave finishes & decor styles are not super difficult to do when you have 10+ foot ceilings and rooms the size of banquet halls that have ample natural light. Try doing this with 8 foot ceilings in a 9x10 foot room with a half window or a powder room with no window at all that’s only 4x5 feet at best. I guarantee you, you’ll be singing a different tune! Now, I’m not saying it’s impossible to create tiny jewel boxes in teeny spaces but it’s not easy and requires a tremendous amount of skill, knowledge and restraint to do it so it works.
I get it! I believe we can be inspired by a design style and take away just a small idea to implement into our own homes, regardless of size. Thanks for watching.
I understand your frustration. Perhaps there might be a small element you could incorporate into your home. I find that I can be inspired by designs that are on a much larger scale than my own home too.
I can assure you, I choose every photo, put together the video and add the music and do the voiceover. It’s a wonderful creative outlet for someone that loves interior design.
I love color and love seeing it in other homes. I must admit though it hurts my heart when I see beautiful old woodwork painted over.
