- Whether the pros outweigh the cons depends very often on how much shooting you do, and how often you shoot. That being said, I shoot every single week, and I compete several times a year for fun. I'm not a horrible shooter and this optic really wouldn't have ANYTHING that holds me back from placing well at a match. Features wise, it's rich. Materials wise, it's decent. Concerning design, I think it's a great deal for under 400.00 and I struggle to find decent competitors to it as an overall package. As I use the optic, I will come back and make more videos if reliability fails. So far, a few years running on these designs and no optical failures or tracking issues that disqualify the optic. Discovery is doing well to market towards a certain type of shooter with a certain budget, and I think they're hitting their target.

Hi. I have 4 Arken EP5s and 3 of this Discovery PRS Gen ll model. Considering the Discovery can be had on Amazon, right now, for around $275, it's a no brainer of a great deal.

You're right, Discovery Optics has really improved over the last 2 years. Before that their scopes suffered from QC issues and went downhill from about 2019 till mid 2022. A few comments on other Discovery review videos have pointed out how Discovery is/was not honouring its warranty. However, that is concerning these earlier made scopes - I'm unsure how the latest & better scopes are doing regarding warranty issues.
It’s great to hear that you are a Christian. And like your guns. I’m the same. People give me a hard time about being a believer. But that’s ok. By the way Amazon has the 4-20X52 on sale for $259. Which is insane. There factory website claims Japanese glass. I own a 5-25x50 Discovery. It’s great for what I paid.
