The Book of Mormon has blessed my life in immeasurable ways. Without it I could not have found peace, knowledge, or a relationship with my Father and Savior. God has heard my own cries in the wilderness. God has given me grace and mercy and forgiveness and miracles like He has for others before me. I wouldn’t have found those things without the Book of Mormon. It’s not just because it’s a good book, you don’t just read it and be done with it. Heck it’s not about the reading! It’s about the experiences and changes that happen. You really feel doubts wash away, you feel God’s love, you feel that He’s speaking to you.
I’m not active anymore but this song has always stayed with me too ❤️ there is still a god I cannot deny his hand in my life especially right now. He saved me from a dark path, he really plucked me out of a situation I felt I couldn’t leave. I couldn’t have done it without him 🥲
I was gone from the gospel for 19 years and this song was one that always could touch my soul even through the darkest of times. That's because it is truth, which speaks to the soul.

You may be excommunicated from the church but you can never be excommunicated from God’s reach and love for you. He is still with you wherever you go.
