She was on the Korean show Sugarman where they take an older song and bring the original singer on the show, then have a new singer do a new arrangement of it. She did a song called, "For Her Lover". The original version, to me, is very plain. Not my kind of song. But her version put so much emotion into it that it's completely different. In the video you can see the original singer listening intently and fighting back tears, then giving her a standing ovation at the end. Like when Whitney did Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You"... it's that level. Eunji TOOK that song that day. The video title is in Korean, but "2016 For her lover" will find it.
Eunji is awesome. She has other solo performances that are awesome too. She is one of the best kpop female singers for sure. She is also an actress. Nice comments on this reaction too.
