Did you mean 2024? Posted 10 days ago? Or has this new feeder been up a year now. Very cool to see a nectar feeder for Lori keeps, we of course can only see this explosion of color in domestic avairy in US. Thankyou for sharing your native species in there environment. Greatly appreciated!!
yeah I definitely meant 2023, as it was posted on 29/12 (AEDT). The feeder (the structure) has been up for a while, but I always wanted to get a bunch of Rainbow Lorikeets feeding from it at once. More than that, I wanted to get in on the action and see what was going on without scaring them off. They've gotten quite used to me these days; I can walk right up to them and they know I'm just there to feed and not harm them. So regardless of fruit or 'slop', they can drop past anytime for a feed if they get sick of flowers. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching. 🦜😄
