As far as I know AC Shadows is by a different team under Ubisoft. I want to say Ubisoft Montreal is the AC Shadows team? That game seems like a lot of potential was wasted 😔 I haven't heard anything like the stolen AC Shadows material about Anno or its team(s). Generally the Anno series is still the most functional Ubisoft series from what I've seen. I imagine this is because it's too niche for anyone but its team and fans to pay attention to.
This franchise and this next project is in great hands. I'm glad there's so much passion in what the devs create at Ubisoft Mainz.
