Its normal to get false positives right after giving birth you still have hcg in your body
I had false negative report while I was 3½ month pregnant....so never trust on home test .
I got my ultrasound sound done n heard my baby's heartbeat .

Talk to your doctor!! I’ve heard some scary stories about pieces of the placenta staying attached to the uterus. Be persistent till you have answers!

I had the same thing happen to me 12 days after giving birth. I had placenta still attached to me. And crazy thing is 8 weeks later I did get pregnant. That was a scary year.
When you said you had been clotting like that I was like omg go to the er , glad to see you have contacted them I hope all is well .
Yes it was VERY scary !! we are still finding out answers! long process :( so fingers crossed!
The cheapy test you took if San ovulation test. LH is the ovulation hormone.
At every family gathering when my nieces were little I had a craft box at mom an dad's so the kiddos an I would color or paint after dinner so the adults could chat longer with out chaos 😂😂

Can be a sign of endometriosis. I developed it after having my 3 kids.
It's like the symptoms I had with a miscarriage.. The body is trying to get rid of what's left in there.. I was hospitalised from blood loss but luckily didnt end up needing any further intervention.. Hope all is well.

The same thing happened to me for over two months. I had to keep going to my ob & calling them constantly worried about the amount.
I was bleeding for 13 weeks after my second baby.. had scans and nobody found out why. I'm now pregnant with baby number 3 and to say I'm scared is underestimate
Im pretty sure you need to talk to your dr about the clotting.

Yeah I’m doing ok now considering. That happened with my first pregnancy, she’s 13 now. The 2 pregnancies after that it didn’t happen but I’ve had other issues. This might be TMI but my period after the 3rd pregnancy was not normal, I would bleed heavily every day for 2 years. Where I live it’s hard to get the surgery you need, took 3 years to get better. Anyways I’m recovered for the most part now, my kids are 13 and 7 😊

At my 6 week check with my eldest I was 3 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child
That is a sign that you could have retained placenta, and you normally have to have a D & C to clear it
Yes this! My sister had the same thing. She lost so much blood she passed out and was rushed in for a D&C.
You should still go to the doctor just to make sure everything is ok you could have an embolism beautiful baby 😊

You have a possible infection. you may need antibiotics to stop the bleeding..
I had to get meds.
Maybe you have ovarian cysts? I have them and this exact thing happened to me, but before I had my son. Do you have irregular periods? U was told by my obgyn that I’m fine and no surgery was needed. Good luck momma. She’s a beautiful baby. ♥️😍😍

I USED A DOLLOR TREE ONE AND IT WORKED JUST FINE AND WORK JUST AS GOOD AS THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES.
You definitely needed to go to the Dr or to ER. From my daughters experience that’s not safe
I went and saw my DR. she said it was normal bc it may have just been left over placenta and it just passed on its own ! But thankfully it stopped ! Hope your daughter is okay!

Yes (: even had surgery and they looked I am okay!(: it was just retained placenta that got rid of itself thank goodness!
It can take a while for the pregnancy hormone to be out of your body so you can have positive tests for a while

That happened to me after i had stopped bleeding it scared me it was just left over left

yes, they thought retained placenta was coming out but since it finally stopped bleeding they aren't concerned anymore so we will never truly know :/

Have you spoken to your doctor? I've heard of this happening to other women and it maybe that you have some left over tissue or it maybe nothing. It's important to call your doctor just to make sure.
Thats exactly what I was thinking!!! I have been talking with my DR I am having surgery this week so they will be checking during my surgery! and I have check up appts coming up! :)
That can always happen it takes a long time for the body to get rid of hcg after giving birth. Like a couple months.

With the clearblue did you always have 2 lines i have that issue with my daughter i didn't show positive till almost 3 months and i may be having that issue now again
Yeah I have had that issue with clear blue bc they need alot more HCG I have heard than other test im not sure if they changed and if thats still true or not ! I am sending baby dust your way :)

CountingKids it was very scary I almost died and didn’t even know. They only found out after doing an ultrasound to find out why I was bleeding so bad.

CountingKids no it was my first baby and I thought the cramping was normal cuz it wasn’t like really bad. I found out cuz I was going through the big hospital pads within five minutes and I almost passed out twice before my mom took me to the ER I was at the Ronald McDonald house cuz my daughter had to have heart surgery at six days old. It was very scary. I’m 20 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and I have a chance of it happening again.
Have u talked to your Dr about the clots? I am 7 weeks pp, and clotted at 6 weeks... Your Dr needs to examine you. Are you in any pain?
Yes I called the DR right away every time it happened and they said if it stops and comes back I'm probably fine but I am getting surgery next week and they are going to check too make sure im not hemorrhaging or to make sure nothing else is wrong!! yes I was cramping a lot when I passed them!
CountingKids good, that's scary. I bled for a very long time with this recovery and was told to look out for clots. I hope you get some relief and they figure it out! I know you are ready to feel normal again!
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you supposed to wait 6 weeks postpartum to do any of that activity (Everyone is different and can do what they want and also could be told different) From everyone I've been around they've all said that but everyone is different

It's Normal To bleed after pregnancy its Normal Let ur Body relax 4 a while

I had the clotting too after my second daughter they got basket ball size and i was bleeding so bad for 3 mths straight to the point i vairly could turn over in bed i had to have help. I had to use depends adult diapers cause the bleeding was so bad and had to lay on towels at night cause id bleed through. My dr called it heavy bleeders disorder and sent me home. Next day i went to the hospital and the dr examined me and pulled out what looked like a condom but bloody i asked what was it cause i had no clue. The doctor asked if i had any large clots prior to coming in and where is it. I said i had a huge one right before i came as a matter of fact and i had to plunge it down it was so big. But my dr told me thats normal. He said no honey this is a fetal sac that clot was your placenta with your baby attached underneath your baby fell out. I didnt even know i was pregnant i was 23 weeks along but tests showed i wasnt. And i had a miscarriage.

@@MariaAnne Thank you. Its never easy losing a child. Weather born or still growing in you. Mine was a boy. Best way that helped me somewhat was to name him so i could give him to God so i had a angel looking down upon me. But it still eats at me to know had i known i was pregnant i could had possibly saved his life. Makes me so angry at myself and my doctor for wrong misdiagnosis. But like the obgyn dr said something was wrong for him to fall out like that the sac was super small and it should had been bigger for that far along which means he wasnt growing the way he should had been but the clot was huge and if it was the placenta it was huge. To this day i only have the image of that sac and that huge clot which is so haunting. But it helps me share my story and relate to others that recently miscarried cause i know that pain too well.
That's an Ovulation test. Says LH. Pregnancy would say HcG
Normally its not suggested to have sex until 3 months after postpartum.

After childbirth woman should wear two large pads with a diaper . You have to make a couple of layers.
I did for 3 weeks than the bleeding completely stopped so I wasn't wearing them anymore and it came back WORSE than after giving birth it was insane

This happened to me 3 months PP although I was really pregnant...6 weeks..yep😒 totally didn't wait the recommended time frame...we did the baby dance 4 weeks after and now I have irish twins...sooo happy you got a negative..i think I was nervous for you..lol

@@MariaAnne they are now 6 and 5...they are now old enough that the youngest teases the older when she becomes his age for a month...she always cant wait until her birthday bc for 4 weeks they are the same age while the oldest is dying for 4 weeks until his birthday...lol😂 but was def stressed and I think a little sad at first bc i felt as though I didnt get to give the first baby enough mommy time before their sibling came..but it worked out perfect bc like you said they have each other and are super close!...soooo maybe you should TTC soon😏😏😜

My daughters are 13 months apart 🙈 they love each other so much. It was hard at first but now they're 1 and 2 and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with baby #3. Having my first two really close was planned but not baby #3 lol. Oh well 🤷🏻♀️ I'm excited!
This is why they recommend not having sex until ATLEAST 6wks after you have a baby and you've been checked out by your Dr. at your 6wk appointment and they can make sure it's safe for you to have sex. Also that's when you can get on birth control to keep you from getting pregnant so soon, because it's good to let your body heal for awhile before getting pregnant again. Women can get pregnant very easily during that time. If you are against birth control there's other options, but medically there's reasons you are supposed to wait. I've had 2 kids, and I couldn't imagine having sex that soon. I was sore down there for quite sometime, and it took awhile for things to get back to normal. I also bled for quite awhile. I'm not trying to judge you, or be mean. So please don't take it that way 😊❤😊.
We just learned about reproduction in my biology class. And I’m by no means a doctor or anything so take this with a grain of salt but hCG is only produced in the first trimester to maintain the corpus luteum in the ovary, which produces progesterone until the placenta is fully developed in the second trimester. After the first trimester, the placenta is producing progesterone and the corpus luteum dissolves, so hCG is no longer needed and no longer produced. I won’t go any further into the details cause they’re quite lengthly, but as far as I know, you shouldn’t have “leftover” hCG postpartum because it has been months since your body was producing any. And hCG is purely for pregnancy and it is only ever produced during the first trimester, no other time so...
Like I said though, I’m not a doctor or anything so I may be wrong

I’m a postpartum nurse and we tell our patients to go to the emergency room if they pass a clot larger the size of a chicken egg. I’m assuming you’ve been in contact with your doctor or midwife, but I would be concerned that you might have retained placenta or a bit of your amniotic sac still inside, so just for anyone else reading this: bleeding like this is not normal and could be a medical emergency. Never be shy to call your OB or midwife!
I called when it was happening they told me to give it a couple days I didnt really feel comfortable with that response so I pushed to see a dr and she also said it was normal and my body was probably passing retained placenta on its own but since it stopped finally she wasn't to concerned. :/

I did :) I even had surgery and they said all is good thank god !! They are assuming it was retained placenta that just came out on its own !

You're probably doing too much. I'm not done with the video yet, but you're taking the tests and explaining why you are.... I was "doing too much" after my 3rd baby, and I had a cesarean, I left a trail too. My husband called an ambulance he was scared to death. He thought for sure I was bleeding to death, poor guy.

Man i started doing the dirty 2-3 weeks pp. My youngest 2 were both born in 2017 because of that lol. But the clotting doesn't sound entirely normal, maybe talk to your ob. Good luck with everything.

My 2 youngest r 9 months apart my middle (2nd) was born March 20,2008 and my youngest(3rd) December 20,2008...Irish twins is what they call siblings that was born in the same year! Now im pregnant with r 4th baby, due March 2020! R oldest(1st) is 15 he was born May 24,2004
