- The group was created by Roy Webber, a musician, vocalist and composer all in one person in the early seventies and went down the path that the British amusingly call the “pub rock circuit”. It is clear that we are talking about a common means of earning money and exposure for young bands, performing in pubs, bars and cafes, in the hope of one day shaking the world. Not everyone succeeds, but Wally got the chance after participating in a competition held by Melody Maker magazine for semi-professional performers. The group reached the finals, but failed to win. What was more important was that she attracted the attention of the judges. One of them was the now legendary Bob Harris. Bob took the group under his wing and interested Rick Wakeman from Yes in collaborating with them. In 1974 the first long play was released, a very good and strong debut.

"To the urban man" has a little early Pink Floyd influence pre DSOTM.
I got this lp in a stack of promo albums in 1975, I’ve managed to keep this gem and a few others from this period! Great work 🎉
sounds like Kansas or proto Kaw.
