Bro I told you this when I was at your place the other day. This is Konami now. Konami doesn't care about the people who like their stuff. They don't care if you like Yugioh, they dont care if you like their games, they just dont give a fuck. Shut everything down, make a Yugioh pachinko machine!
exactly!!! they dont give a shit. i appreciate everything azneyes has done. but im callin it. they won't have a skype video where they explain themselves. cause their big business the attitude of they don't owe anyone an explanation. even if you prove them wrong their mind is made up.
+Elijah Torres Torres Basically it's a gym that has the business model of not wanting anyone competitive training at their gym. No grunting and no dropping weights. They have also removed squat racks and bench press areas from their gyms. They also will kick you out if your wearing stringer tank tops , use chalk to lift and or have your stomach showing if your a girl.
+Team Innovation YGO My PF gym still has the squat and bench press racks. But I do agree with the no grunting or dropping weights. I haven't seen anyone kicked out for their clothes though. I guess every gym is different.
A new YU GI OH game is coming this winter to PC.Also if you want to play YU GI OH online, right now you can download a game on your PC called YU GI OH the dawn of a new era. It's free, has all the cards, and doesn't have any viruses.I downloaded it myself.
I absolutely agree with the video. There are 3 kind of people in the ygo pro/dev: those that buy real cards but play test online, the new guys that are learning the game and eventually buy cards and those that have no money and wouldn't buy the cards or play the game if it wasn't for the online game. It's free advertisement for the game and they don't even realize it. And they don't realize also that this is not a children's game. It's teens and adults that have the money and play the game.
you're forgetting one type of people: the ones that like yugioh and would like to support the game by buying cards and stuff like that, but simply can't because it's not a thing in their countries and would have to pay a lot of money in cards buying and shipping for a game they can't even play where they live. I live in Romania and we don't even have an anime channel anymore, let alone yugioh players, and even when we had it it only aired reruns of old anime.
+MrTheoneandonly There not bad, I've been playing sense 7th grade, I'm a old player, I like what's going on, xyz are great, pendulum would be great, if they added more tuner pendulums, 4 star pendulums, that can balance the deck, fitting tuners, pendulums, your level 4s, & strong monsters in a 40 card is hard, I play with Pendulums, but I only play a max of 6 pendulum cards, 4 at the lowest.
So just to clarify a few things: - This is NOT Konami's doing. This is being done by a 3rd party, who have been granted access to YuGiOh's IP and everything associated with it, including the right to take legal action - This third party DO have a reason. This very same party are rumored to be creating a Hearthstone-esque client that is officially licensed by Konami for Yugioh, and therefore they can't have free applications taking their business. Now why they decided to do it NOW, while we have LITERALLY no info on this client, I have no idea. Cuz it's a real dick move. If Konami REALLY wanted DN et al to be gone, they would have done it AGES ago. This is all the fault of the 3rd party, and it's putting way too much pressure on this new game. It's not gonna be as good as DevPro or even DN. It just won't. And so it's gonna do badly. Because they don't realize they are pissing off their own fanbase in the process. It's not Konami who we should be reaching out to. We need to find out who this 3rd party is, and reach out to them. Tell them to stop swinging their legal dick around for literally no reason. Go after the sims a week before your client launches, not MONTHS before.
im reaching to konami to give us INFO on the new game, cause if its another game where you have to pay PER DUEL, and you dont even get all the cards at the start then im going to make this channel into a Overwatch/other games channel
"Ultimate Card Battle" for the 3DS was released in Japan on Wednesday 6th July 2016. There currently is no info on a PC YuGiOh game. I reckon this company just shot the game stone dead. RIP YGO.
this is so true, its literally just a fucking useless dick move, DN lived like 5 years and all of a sudden just that shit. Cause of DN people buy cards or they use it to test out decks to play irl on tournaments and now? I just hope that there ll not be a game like "Yugioh Online".. Pay to win or Pay to play that would be really the worst anyone could do lmao the DN community wasn't the best one but the game was fun and it was a good game to test decks, play with friends or teach people the game
If they are planning to do a new game they only need to follow this specifications: -Make it both online and ofline game modes (story mode, puzzle mode, random deck mode, tournament mode, etc) (if the story mode is a good rpg, where you can explore and do more stuff than playing the card game, even better. -Make the player have a highly customizable avatar (with duel disk, card sleeves, spirit animal, the whole shabang) (There konami can make a lot of dlc's if we want our duelist to look like hatsune miku or like whatever we wanted to look). -Make it multi platform, simple enough, we need yugioh on the go. - Make online tournaments, i can't believe konami has not figure this out yet, not everybody has the time to go to locals or to events. AND MOST IMPORTANT: Make all the cards FREE AND AVAILABLE FROM THE START you can lock them during story mode so you don't shrekt the CPU using meta, but for online play, for the love of god, don't make us buy decks.
Even that is insufficient. One of the best things YGOpro has over any official product is that you can script your own cards, allowing you to implement anime and custom cards to play with friends.
unique story too, like with new characters for that game. not just tagging along with the mc. imagine a bunch of characters using current meta as part of the main story!!
When I saw this video in my feed I thought nothing about it. Till I clicked it and heard about DN being taking down. At this time I checked DN thinking it couldn't be true...This almost and am still on the verge of tears. This has been my first Card Game from childhood. I'd play with the few cards we had with a friend and had his dad read the cards so we could try playing, my grandfather introduced me to a card shop that I loved going to. It was at that card shop that I built up my Dragon-Machine Hybrid Deck throughout my childhood and as I grew up. Then the shop closed down. Losing the friends who called me Bible Kid (I had a giant binder of commons and everything in between. Nothing rare or big since I was young). Years later after retiring my IRL Decks on my bed shelf I came back to YGO when I found Dueling Network. I built over 100 decks. Mostly Archtype and OTK decks for fun but my favorite deck was Yubel. I played on DN on and off till this point. During Community Collage I found a new card shop. Though sadly I could't play in the Yugioh Tournies cause of school hours. It was the only place that played multiple card games instead of purely MTG like every other card shop in my area. It was then I played around with other TCG's such as Vanguard and Buddyfight. Playing these really made me feel young again. Im sorry for the long rant but this is a game that is very dear to me and really wanted to get this off my chest after I watched this video. Since I was young I wanted to play YGO in VR or AR of some sort and now with VR getting big its getting closer to that. I really don't want to see YGO die off before that dream comes true. The only way this new YGO game could work is if it stays updated. Without up to date cards, banlists, etc then it becomes as useless as the cards you know will never come off the ban list. Guess my final words are. IF YGO dies off. What TCG will the YGO players migrate to I wonder? Personally I really don't like MTG cause of how its Formats works (Forcing you to stay up to date with sets) and a need for learning its terminology like Hearthstone minus the ability tips and no field limit. But Buddyfight and Vanguard was pretty fun, Buddyfight feeling the closest to YGO for me. Whats your Opinions?
There is a new game coming in Winter for PC.Also if you want to play YU GI OH online for PC.look up YU GI OH the dawn of a new era.you get access to all of the cards,it's free, and there aren't any viruses.
Buddy fight is bad it just felt like a watered down vanguard when vanguard was already simple enough to me. Vanguard falls prey to the you essentially have to play the newest archetypes to stay relevant. In my opinion disregarding stuff like hearthstone and the million other online only card games (have not played enough to comment on any) Mtg is the best option for a paper card game. There's a big casual scene at card shops (at least by me. People always had a for fun not super meta or op deck to just have fun with) There's a casual format called commander. The format you were referring to and did not like was standard. Besides standard theres draft, modern, and legacy. So there is essentially a format for whatever you are trying to do. I'd personally recommend standard as it's usually the cheapest. Drafting can be fun if you enjoy deck building and the feeling of opening new packs. As well there is Magic the gathering: Duels which is free for the pc and isn't terrible. Especially for learning the basics.
Kensung I disagree with you on Buddy fight since Vanguard only has creatures where as Buddy Fight has spells/traps/equips and such which is why I felt more comfortable with that when I was playing around with non yugioh card games. With MTG its just always been meh. and when I search for card shops to play certain games I ALWAYS see purely MTG card shops and get annoyed that they don't try other stuff. So maybe MTG just has a inherent bad taste in my mouth or something. And for the orderly person that I am. The Zero Field limit bugs me mechanically.
This is bullshit, you know god damn well that DN And YGOPro were the only things keeping this game relevant and Alive. GG Konami you killed your company, unless they release a YGOPro like game (Looking at their past I say they wont put much effort in at all) This game will see a massive decrease in support
+Rick Melethron yeah its to bad I though the game was changing for the better with cheaper decks but now no one is gonna spend money to try out a deck I wouldn't.
It was not Konami that did this. Even if they wanted to take down those applications, they were not the ones who did this, at least *not directly*. But yeah, this is terrible for the game. Konami should do something about this. Either release a new, good, not p2w and constantly updated online game with cards from all versions of the CG or make the company that shut down the fanmade applications undo their actions.
Konami is actually innocent about this, it's the owner of the card art that is doing this stuff. Tho I doubt that Konami would have no say at all in it if they wanted to interfere.
Maybe I'm gonna sound ignorant, but....Hearthstone? Look at what Hearthstone did. It's a GREAT game, and the artwork is amazing. What IF, (I know this is a huge what if considering Konami left gaming) somebody or a group of people worked to make the dueling network games sort of like Hearthstone, but Konami sponsered it. We'd get random card drops, start with basic decks etc. They'd still get to get paid, plus sponser money. Just a thought
If Devpro Shuts Down Then i going quit yugioh Because i cant play in real life I have no locals ! So that it if they deleted all the online games then I Quitting AND PLAYING XENOVERSE 2 !!!!!
I spoke to a representive from konami, and the original reason why they are taking down ygo and devpro as well as DN, is because the original author who made yugioh is claiming artistic integrity on this. Basically he feels that since he's not working on the games that are fan made, he would rather kill the game off then let some people infringe on his work, if he didn't make it, he doesn't want it existing, therefore he would rather see the game die. ITs stupid and backwards, but it makes sense, He's; selfish, why build up the game and company if your not going to let people promote it without any infringement on him, its so backwards and dumb... Its like if I made a product, and saw someone promoting it with their free platform at no charge to me, but I didn't work on it so therefore I want it gone, doesn't that sound hypocritical? That's dumb as hell.
If this is true, then fuck him. He already made playing YGO shit by banning cash prizes from tournaments. Who wants to win a fucking mat as a tournament prize?
Yea... At least some rare cards that could sell as a big cash prize, I'm getting really close to saying I'm done due to this, not only is it because of this but he's also doing it to promote his NEW DS game in japan that is based on CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES damn turbo dueling bullshit...
Sure do, Kazuki Takahashi and his twitter, twitter.com/vvxo, He own's his own drawing company, as well as a part time investor into his wife's company.
Look up a game on the PC called YU GI OH the dawn of a new era. It's free online dueling, you have access to all of the cards, and there aren't any viruses.I downloaded it myself. Also there is a new YU GI OH game coming in Winter.
YGO Pro is the ONLY reason why I got back into the RL card game after about 10 years. Without it i would've never re-discovered my love for the game. There are so many things to try out and we NEED a free application where we can try everything out. They need to finally arrive in this god damn century. I will sell my collection for good this time if they continue this path...
With Devpro/YGOPro/DN/etc: 1) Players test out new cards in advance. 2) Players decide whether they like new cards. 3) Company gets feedback well in advance. 4) Future sets get better with this feedback. 5) Sales improve with people knowing they'll like what they get more. 6) Game continues to thrive. Without them: 1) Players can't test out new cards to see if they like them or not. 2) New product hits the shelves without testing or player feedback. 3) Product isn't as good and people don't know if they'll like it or not. 4) Sales, and ultimately the game itself, suffer a slow death. Whelp, back to MTG I guess. Your loss for being stupid and killing off a valuable resource, Konami/NAS.
Yu-Gi-Oh! was my life. I met my girlfriend of 4 years through Yu-Gi-Oh! I went to tournaments and bought tons of cards. Due to time restraints and not being a millionaire I lost interest around the XYZ era. Though I always kept an eye on what was going on in the game through channels like this and, occasionally, online games such as Dueling Network. Lately I had started looking back, thinking about buying a deck since I now have a job and the money to do that. I wanted Yu-Gi-Oh! to have a little bigger role in my life again. I started looking for collectables, looking for cards. Cards are still expensive though and the meta has changed a lot since my last tournament so I thought "let's go on DN to see what decks are good and what cards are fun to play as well as what I would be up against. That way I could be back into the game without being completely lost. Imagine my surprise when I found that DN was shut down. I googled for some good official game. PC or console, for handheld or TV. I just wanted something to let me test the waters before committing my entire bank account. But no such luck. The only thing I googled after that was, you guessed it, Pokemon GO.
The problem with trying to kill online games is the clones. Since most users have the source code to ygopro thanks to its creator. And its fairly easy to add cards manually to the engine. There really isnt a way to stop this. And the last factor is there isnt real money being made outside of konami. Its 2016 and we live in a digital age thats why heartstone and the like are winning. I personlly think ygopro is Heartstone biggest comp and if you kill ygo them people will go to that.
That's the best part. YGOpro literally cannot be stopped. Duel Network was a sitting duck because it's an online browser game. But YGOpro? That stuff's software, and fairly easy to change.
You know what the problem is with that? If the company keeps deleting the new programs, people at some point will stop downloading the new ones because it is just a hastle. In either case the game is going to die slowly.
Ygopro isn't even close to hearthstone in terms of consistent numbers not even remotely able to be considered comp also I'm pretty sure magic online is above the online yugioh community
Ygopro isn't even close to hearthstone in terms of consistent numbers not even remotely able to be considered comp also I'm pretty sure magic online is above the online yugioh community
You don;t know what the fuck you're talking about so please don't try to speak on vanguard and talk about how competitive it is. It's a competitive game, period. YuGiOh on the other has been watered down throughout the ages and became a game where you either stop your opponent from playing the damn game or search and swarm, which gives you high hand and field advantage over your opponent, leaving them several turns behind. Decks today are so mindless, it requires little to no skill.
+Darcius Don't call people who play it stupid when you know very little about the game, it makes you look like the stupid one. You clearly haven't played the game in a very long time as some of your points MAY have made sense when the game was in its infancy but that is no longer the case, vanguard has evolved and is in the best place it ever been right now with the meta being very varied and all clans getting solid support.
I'd say card fight online will come out probably the summer of 2017 I honestly don't have a reason to think so except the fact that it says on the homepage for it that they don't know when the next closed beta will come out and I think there are still 2 more planned closed betas and then an open beta before it is fully released
only time that game is fun is if you do random pokemon battles other wise the item and stat abuse on there is the most cancerous shit i have ever seen in my life
yes this is a big point that the community needs to make konami understand!I my self quit yugioh for many years and only recently got back into it because I found dueling network,I was only able to get updated...because dueling network,I became a pro...because dueling network...,I desperately found local tournaments...because dueling network,I BUY THE CARDS!guess why.because dueling network, the only thing killing DN,Ygopro and potentially Devpro will bring for the company is a HUGE decline in sales, not to mention interest!who here agrees with me and feels the same?
I have been playing since i was 8 im 24 years old now and still love this game to this day. Losing ygopro and the others really hurts with working and chasing storms for the national weather service i dont have a lot of time to play and im a slow learner these apps always helped me since i started using them my skills have gotten alot better. Sad day for yugioh i really hope this game doesnt die out. It is my go to when im upset or mad the game is a stress release. We have yugioh night every weekend at my buddys house. It gets us to unwind from a work week and such.
Download the game YU GI OH! the dawn of a new era on your PC.Also Konami is making a new game for PC winter of 2016 this guy has no idea what he is talking about.
my friend introduced me to dueling network acouple years ago, got addicted to it... to the point where i actually searched and bought my decks online, my first 3 complete decks had me spent 500-800 bucks with buying the card accesories, booster pack hunting etc. and i dont regret any of it and i recently wanted to get back into DN to make a new deck just to find out they are taking down all the yugioh simulators... so they just lost out on possibly 500-800 bucks and thats just one person.
Try Ygopro Dawn of a new era, This would help, and I assume this would be the last safe haven to play, you can transfer all your decks from ygo or dev to play on it.
DominoDoesStuff Yea, its also going to be having a free singleplayer duelist kingdom dueling AI with all the original decks from duelist kingdom, its pretty awesome.
This makes me so so so sad, i love Yu-Gi-Oh! but i'm on the list of people that can't buy the cards (specially here where i live they are really expensive) so i settle for online game but everytime i start falling in love again with the game something happens and its just disheartening to see such a good game die out, because that's what's eventually going to happen and i really don't want that 'cause this game is literally my entire childhood and some of the best friends i have, i met them through this game. I hope Yu-Gi-Oh! doesn't die out, but its getting harder and harder to stay positive =/
This makes me so sad man. As I live in an area with basically a dead local scene (only the same few people go to the locals, no variance in decks) and have less and less time to actually play, playing online was one of the only things keeping me in the game.
hmmmmmmmm.......Konami is simply exercising their control. It is not illegal. However, Yu-Gi-Oh! Players could choose to silently rebel by not buying any Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards. But what about this......how about we simply unite, create, and rebel. I guarantee you if we--who like me--are both Yu-Gi-Oh! Lovers and Tech lover.........if we rebel and create real Duel Disks.....its over. With all that being said--such a rebellion would not be easy. IT would take a tonnnnnnnn of support and money; hmmmmm.........i've got $5000 towads this ideal.......who else wants to chip in? Oh----wha---what's that? No one. Yeah.........big surprise.......hmmmpft!
we can simply "rebel" by not buying yugioh cards. All we want is just a platform where we test our decks and play with each other without stepping outside. We don't need a duel disk lol
I sorta see your point; hit Konami in the Wallet; where it hurts like getting kicked in the nuts. Maybe a sucker punch like that would work if enough people did it...I dunno.
Testing is a very important part of any type of activity. I play soccer, basketball and of course Yu-Gi-Oh! and practice is very important because you need to prepare yourself physically, mentally and of course get better at it. The ability to find out about new cards, techs and strategy is vital in our case. I literally have like 10 "decks" named IWANT = cards I want to buy from the newest sets. People saves money and spends time in creating their own deck nowadays cause theres a huge variety of options to choose from, and we need to be updating our decks at least monthly. I think that the game will die, the 20th anniversary is a way to say goodbye and give us the last format in the game Blue Eyes vs Dark Magician classis as the newest meta and then boom.
This really sucks, especially for people like me that don't play competitive too much, but just wanna play with friends and occasionally mess around in competitive, but can't play much irl. They better make this new online game good, but I doubt it...
It's really sad Dueling network was how I got back into this game it helped me develop my yugioh skills, and understanding the meta better. I cherished those moments I had when I would skype with my friends and we would stay up really late at night and play dueling network with my neighbors that live across the street. It was one round after another and one duel led to another duel. If this game continues down the road without dueling network we're going to have a generation of bad duelists that have no experience and don't know how to play the game. There would be no motivation to play yugioh after. Even though I'm a veteran retired yugioh player I still watch azneyeswhitedragon's youtube channel to see how the game is evolving.
I do agree. Whenever I watch videos on here of how certain decks work I do want to buy the cards or the cards that support them and incorporate them into my own deck ideas. Can't make any original decks without the game apps. or services.
Yeah. I got REALLY mad when I realized that you cant download it anymore. I dont have a job as Im a kid, and I cannot really afford cards that often. I want to test some decks to figure out if I the cards I am buying online are worth it. But I cannot do that now. Makes me pissed.
I remember a CD being called yugioh online where you basically played the same system engine or whatever as the Kaiba game and yugi game, And as you won battles online or so you won booster packs wich was really rewarding and fun to do. But thing is what really destroys the fun is the new cards the ability to grasp powerful cards from your fusion deck in general and fusion someone was something that was really dificult to do but with Synchro wich basically breaks and fucks Fusion in the butt hole makes the game less entertaining for me. If you had the ability to call out blue eyes easely you would need to a good hand but with Yugioh pro and have all the cards you can get the most powerful card in 1 turn wich is nuts.
After that I hope another big company get the concepts of YGO and make an online game if this new one isn't good, like Blizzard did with their Hearthstone based on MTG
That really does suck. I use to play the actual card game back in the day and i wanted to start to get back into it. So i was looking for maybe one online to get back in the groove and see what has chanced and what kind of deck i was going to start to put together again. That's when i came across your video. Once I watched this, it was a total let down, and now i'm not even sure i want to spend that much money trying to figure it out and learning the game again. It does get really expensive if you don't know what your doing, or what your looking for. On top of time consuming, which I don't normally have a lot of as well.
I don't have any friends that play the game in real life, and I sure as hell don't have the money to duel competitively when I've got important expenses to pay first. I've been using online applications for years, particularly for anime-exclusive cards. Without the online availability, I basically have no reason to play the game. Luckily I re-downloaded YGOPRO again before they took it down, not knowing it was going to be removed, so I still have that. But I feel for the people that only used DN, or went update to update on YGOPRO. That's a terrible blow to them.
This is why I went to majoring in MTG there's more to do plus you never have to worry about new sets or things like this happening, just play whatever format you like most and enjoy.
Actually, they tried to make a card/deck scanner I believe it was meant for Tag force 5 but they cancelled it because of hardware issues with the device. I remember because I put up a pre-order for the device and game.
i stopped playing yugioh in like grade 6 because i was only playing the game with myself and got bored of the game (although i obviously kept my cards). those cards were put away in a tin on the top shelf of my closet for years until i got to grade 11 2 years ago and discovered dueling network on a forum. intrigued i went to the site and was overjoyed to find an actually working free dueling simulator that i could play online with and build any deck i wanted. dueling network single handedly pulled me into the game which in turn pulled about 8 other players into the game which also pulled several other players through them back in and most of us follow yugioh competitively meaning we try to buy the newest sets all the time. ever since i discovered dueling network me and my friends combined have probably spent over 6 grand on this game since we were reintroduced, trying to make decks that outplayed eachothers decks and buying cards and packs for the straight up nostalgia. even though i havent used dueling network in a while its really sad to see the program that brought me back into the game die along with other programs my friends used.
Agree with everything you stated. I started off on YGOPro, and that free to play simulator made it so easy to learn the rules as there are no misplays. Shortly after spending time on the simulator, I went to my first locals and got a cheap deck. I still played YGOPro on a daily basis, and I'd play online with my friends via Skype. With the simulator gone, to enjoy the game fully I'll need to buy the cards IRL. But I can't afford 3 Strikes... Guess I'll play Magic or Force of Will now.
I'm playing on an app and I'll tell you right now, for sure I wouldn't even consider playing without it. I won't spend a dime on something so wasteful. but with this app, I could see myself maybe building a deck and going to a tournament. I used to buy cards but had no idea how complex it was and I was really young. 22 years old now. can t stress enough how important online gameplay is. FREE access. And you need more incentive to compete irl. I have no idea about tournaments yet though. prizepools card prizes etc. LIKE I said I'm not that deep into it yet. I'm rediscovering yugioh bruh you NEED this.
Like i said to my local card shop "without my means to play online with the decks ive designed, i feel that this game is no longer worth my time effort and its time for me to leave this game and sell my cards." And at this point even my locals are starting to step away from yu-gi-oh and focus more on smash pokemon (tcg and the 3ds games) and magic. i left the anime which was a major part of why i loved yu-gi-oh was up to xyz summons started becoming apprent
People wondered why I jumped ship when I did, just before Pendulums were announced. Part of it was I jumped back into competitive Pokemon, the other larger part though was I knew this type of thing was coming.
a few months ago i didnt even know that yugioh still existed my friends brought me back into it and devpro helped me a lot of times like i found a deck that i like and isnt complicated or when i had some ideas for a new deck build i tryed them there out and if devpro is gone i defenetly wont buy the cards for some new decks
for me the dueling network were for a little fun , also it helped me out for deck construct , because i have most of the digital deck on fisic , so if a new card tcg or ocg of something of my deck , i will run for it , when is on a "mystery pack" is not that simple and if i have it, just test it , if you where wrong some duelist help you out ,thats why i like it .
ok so here is my delema, the nearest locals is like 4 hours away and even then its only on Sundays. I live in a small town where no one plays yugioh on a serious level and the only three people i know who play live in the next town over or even in a completely different city like my cousin who we don,t get to visit in person often yugioh was one of the few things that brought everyone together and gave us something to do and i doubt that i never really liked the pokemon tcg and i will ever be able to adjust to hearth stone or magic and become as good as i am at yugioh simply because im so used to the mechanics and yugioh was my FIRST tcg that i ever played it got me outa the house and helped me spawn new interest and venture more not to mention if it hadn't been for yugioh i never would have met all the friends i have made due to our common interest in yugioh so even though this hurts me a lot i will mostlikely quit playing yugioh. I have stuck with it ever since i got into the game when GX and E-Heros were the newest thing, i sat through all the bullshit that konami kept spitting out like the new op cards that they would release and banning monster reborn and stratos, I was even willing to overlook the recent banlist fiasco where they would ban things with no warning and right after the cards have been released and you have already bought them. Over 12 years i have been a loyal yugioh fan and customer for this card game and loved everything that they released short of the non playstation and DS games that were released and ill be the first to admit i actually enjoyed the shows ( not including zexal). But I swear by the Egyptian God Cards that this is the last straw and i will most likely start devoting all the time and money i would have spent for yugioh on League of Legends and Pokemon GO for those are the few things i CAN enjoy with my friends and cousin over the long distance that divides us. This truly is a sad day for all of yugioh I hope you RIP Farewell yugioh community this pendulum is swinging out.
you're totally spot on, i got retired from YGO and was starting to consider going back, but first, get to know the meta through DN to my surprise I check only to see this now i don't think i want to know about YGO
Nobody is original anymore and Konami wants duels to end in 1-5 turns. This is why it's dying. Nobody is playing 15-20 turn duels anymore unless its a setup duel with a friend. Konami bans some cards and then releases way more broken cards the next day. When people netdeck decks (not original at all) for 1-3 turn duels and think it's fun then it kills the game. I personally am now dueling in person with friends with old decks and some anime rulings, for drawpower, for fun because I'm tired of 1-3 unoriginal turn duels. It's like facing an AI.
Man, I didn't know Yu-Gi-Oh was in such a dire situation... I remember playing Yu-Gi-Oh with my brother every day after we'd do our homework (we were homeschooled) and just dueling all the time. It was a lot of fun. I haven't played the game in a while, since it was hard to keep up with all the new series' and cards and what-not. Now I play the Pokemon Video Game competitively (which in itself is not doing so hot, either.) I'm honestly sorry to hear how Yu-Gi-Oh's doing. It was a big part of my childhood, and I respect that the competitive scene is (or was) more than likely very high-level in the past.
Unless we get some sort of decent replacement, I think this may be the end of me buying new decks. I've had a system going for a while now, where I'd hear about a deck maybe from Azyneyes (Is that how he spelt it?I dont even remember anymore) and other yugitubers, and then I'd decide if I wanted to try the deck. If I did, I'd got play against AI on YGOPro as I worked out which combos worked best, and how to respond to situations I might get into. Once I was confident and able to use the deck without having YGOPro tell me what I could do, I'd move to Dueling Network, see how the deck worked against other players and deck. I'd tweak the deck, side/extra decks to fit my play style and test it out some more. Then I'd go buy the deck and use them with friends. If I have no way of testing if I like a deck, why should I waste money going out to buy something I might not enjoy? BRING BACK DN! BRING BACK YGOPRO! MAKE YUGIOH GREAT AGAIN!
If i was KONAMI id just pay the creators of Ygopro/devpro to keep the servers up and they could just add like a $5 fee every 3 months to be able to play. Doesn't even have to be ygopro/devpro can do it to DN also.
One thing I'd like to add to your video is the concept of the ban list and all future ban lists. Look at this season's for example; we brought back monarchs and TER and it did nothing to the meta. Any new broken deck using some new mechanic will be able to outshine it *cough*synchro*cough*. Then that deck and more decks get shut down until we're in this bottomless pit that we used to know as dueling network where everyone thinks anything is good and has no idea how to play the game anymore. I used to go to regionals and at my best I made top 128 in my state. My friends were all WAY better than me at this point. Now I have nothing to show for all the hard work I put into being good at this game because it's been bent over too far.
I had to cut back from going to locals and events because I study, work, I'm on a sports team as well as other adult shit to deal with. YGOPro was my link to keeping up to date with the game for when I can go to locals (which is very rare). Now I just feel cut off from the game completely :(
From someone who doesn't have access to a Card Shop: -Used DN to get my YuGiOh fix. -Used DN/Devpro to playtest decks that I would inevitably buy IRL to play. -Nearest Card Shops was an hour away and it had YuGiOh on Sundays with a lackluster turn-out because it's so much mote lucrative to advertise and host Magic at this point that The YGO players that do manage to come are treated like the Problem Children.
I picked up yugioh when my friend invited me to a card shop. I borrowed his deck and had tuns of fun. I wanted more of it, but I didn't want to invest too much money and I didn't want to keep borrowing decks. Consequently, DN and YGOPRO were my MAIN AVENUES TO PLAY YUGIOH. Now my favorite card game (and only one I play regularly) is almost inaccessible. I guess I'll be forced to buy cards or I may sadly just quit entirely. WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS?!?
Slaydra when you said "I have had people tell me i've brought them back into the game." I'm one of those people. YGOpro/Devpro letting me test decks and play when no one wants to let me figure out I enjoy Kozmos, Lunalight and the Blue Eyes. So now I'm trying to build them. Without you, my friends or YGOpro I wouldn't have gotten back in.
Was just about to get back into the game, I pulled 3 solemn strikes out of 5 special edition breaker of shadows. I went freaken nuts! I also went back to my locals and started investing in my collection again, if the game does die out I'll still have hella memories. feelsbadman
DevPro's still available and less susceptible to be taken down. The supposed reason for this is because, outside of the fact DevPro doesn't host the images and stuff on their site, their servers are hosted through Germany, which if I recall correctly, means that it'll be harder for NAS to take down DevPro's website.
I've been kinda hit by this too. I didn't use DN for dueling purposes but to see and understand the new cards and know if anything could help my decks and actually build and organize a deck to build IRL
Decided to buy 3X Yusei deck and formula synchron, hyper librarian and a 5ds legendary collection after playing synchrons on Dueling Network. I applaud you, Konami, because I'm not buying a deck I haven't used before.
My, I may continue playing YGO in a videogame for the 3DS/PSP (ARC V Tag Force Special was never released oficially in the US, right? I know a that a very kind group translated it into English); however, no returning to the physical card game events since it's very expensive. I buy a structure deck once in a while (one per semester); but I don't play at the local store since I don't win against very updated decks from people who can really buy booster packs, decks and box tins frequently.
I played yugioh many years and after a first stop I came back and purchased a lot of cards. Main difficult is to find locals. All of them are closed... The only way to practice thanks to DN and participate to major events IRL. With this action I can' t practice anymore. Surely I will stop for a second time.
Unfortunately this is a really tricky situation. On the one hand Konami and their associates and whatnot are well within their right to take these sites down, much as we'd rather they didn't. On the other hand though it's absolutely true that they have done jack shit to give us anything themselves. If they don't want us using third-party sites - give us an official one that isn't terrible. Magic has Magic Online, Pokémon has TCGO. Why doesn't YGO have anything like this? All Konami can come up with is freemium bullshit and video games that are never updated and are released already out of date. I've not been interested in playing YGO for a while now (I just follow news), but now I pretty much can't play even if I wanted to unless I play Legacy of the Duelist which is pretty damn outdated by now. GG Konami. Yet another step in gutting your own game.
Man, I just got back into the game, after losing interest in it, when I got tired of pretty much buying every single yugioh gane on the handheld system, and being able to play online. Devpro/YGOpro was fucking epic, being able to make a deck, no matter how bad/terrible it was, and to battle people with it. seeing this happen really does make me sad, seeing something gget taken down for money. I don't have the money to go out and chase cards to try and build decks, or to test ideas and theories. Rip in pepperoni Yugioh 2016, you were fun while it lasted :(
I used to buy and play the hell out of the Tag Force games whenever they came out since as an adult I don't have the time or money to put into a hobby I rarely get to play now due to my local scene/community lack of interest.
back in the day when yugioh games was hot for the gameboy, when the number on the bottom of the yugioh card had a purpose. to scan the cards would make that number useless but they could have added that feature in dev pro to save their asses. because if people put in the card number, konami, along with 3rd party users, know that people bought the cards in order to use them. again, much like what you said but a little more old school.
i'll be dead honest, i play hearthstone as a f2p as my main card game and i've never invested money on it (wanted to prove a point to a stubborn cheapstake friend) however i play it since beta and when i tried to invite people into the game they just quitted in two weeks because the new player experience for card games in general wether they're physical or digital or both is stupdly brutal, so unlesss the new yugioh has some way of secondary market likepokemon tcgo has, the playerbase for konami's new game won't be enough... also aznetyes i think it's time for you to try TCGone is kind of the devpro for pokemon tcg (you unlock entire expansions as you level up but the end result is having all the cards in the game :D)
Ya I miss the online stuff. when the last official online Konami yugioh game closed after less than a year, I just lost hope for the game. the only reason I'm interested in the game again is cos of the generations lists. makes me feel like all the old cards I have colecting dust might get used again. Cos with the game been so expensive and new meta coming out every 3 months or so I just can't keep up and feel I was just wasting money on cards that will never see play again
Me and my friend used to play Yugioh but after interest dropped in my town we moved to mtg a card game that is a bit slower paced but with a lower budget if you like to make your own deck but I always did play Yugioh on DN then a card shop opened a me I turned my net deck into a paper deck. If konami shuts down All of the free websites they may lose all returning players in the future.
I got back into the game after 12 years of not playing at all. I enjoyed the ygopro because I could play test other decks and my deck because I was helping me learn the new rules that is different from before. Sucks because between ygopro and watching videos it got me interested.
I agree with the lack of locations. As for why they are taking down the other sites is because none of them have permission to be running. I have never played any of the sites or games being taken down. But I do use the Yu-gi-oh! Duel Generation, so that can be something people can look into if interested. Plus even though I don't have anyone else around me I still buy cards to collect and use, because I never know when it might become big again. YuGiOh might go down in popularity but I don't think it will ever die our completely, because true fans will always find a way to play and if the players stop playing it then they were going to stop before this happened. This may just me my thoughts but it could be because I learned the game using the cards first and then finding the app to keep playing when no one is around.
Bro I told you this when I was at your place the other day. This is Konami now. Konami doesn't care about the people who like their stuff. They don't care if you like Yugioh, they dont care if you like their games, they just dont give a fuck. Shut everything down, make a Yugioh pachinko machine!
This is just Konami and Konami is the worst. #FuckKonami
Even if they made a Yugioh pachinko machine it wouldn't work for very long.
Correct, but they have said that they wanted to take them down for a while which leads me to believe that they have a hand in this.
exactly!!! they dont give a shit. i appreciate everything azneyes has done. but im callin it. they won't have a skype video where they explain themselves. cause their big business the attitude of they don't owe anyone an explanation. even if you prove them wrong their mind is made up.
OMG Fuck Konami. This infuriates me to no end.
Ygopro was the place where I learned how to play this over complicated game.
I don't find yugioh complicated
This guy knows what's up.
+Delta Master as far as card games go its pretty complex. mainly because of the amount of cards
+Delta Master Yes, it's complicated. Magic is easier to learn.
That's funny because I find Magic difficult
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Konami=planet fitness of the TCG world.
I'm not too farmilair with Planet Fitness, what's so bad about it?
+Elijah Torres Torres Basically it's a gym that has the business model of not wanting anyone competitive training at their gym. No grunting and no dropping weights. They have also removed squat racks and bench press areas from their gyms. They also will kick you out if your wearing stringer tank tops , use chalk to lift and or have your stomach showing if your a girl.
***** I see. Konami and Planet Fitness are twins XD
+Elijah Torres Torres Pretty much lmao, just look up planet fitness on UA-cam and you'll see all the hate videos the company has.
+Team Innovation YGO My PF gym still has the squat and bench press racks. But I do agree with the no grunting or dropping weights. I haven't seen anyone kicked out for their clothes though. I guess every gym is different.
See you all in the shadow realm.
kay ;-;
A new YU GI OH game is coming this winter to PC.Also if you want to play YU GI OH online, right now you can download a game on your PC called YU GI OH the dawn of a new era. It's free, has all the cards, and doesn't have any viruses.I downloaded it myself.
+Galvin Stanley I'll check dat l8ter
+Galvin Stanley dawn of a new era is crap and trash
DybricFinalStand How is that? it seems ok to me.
Free advertising to copypasta :P.
you're forgetting one type of people: the ones that like yugioh and would like to support the game by buying cards and stuff like that, but simply can't because it's not a thing in their countries and would have to pay a lot of money in cards buying and shipping for a game they can't even play where they live. I live in Romania and we don't even have an anime channel anymore, let alone yugioh players, and even when we had it it only aired reruns of old anime.
i literally started playing yugioh again and buying cards with my friends because we got into the game via online
same.
same here, I'll still play yugioh legacy of duelist, can't wait until the winter update, may not all the cards but it's still fun
same
+MrTheoneandonly There not bad, I've been playing sense 7th grade, I'm a old player, I like what's going on, xyz are great, pendulum would be great, if they added more tuner pendulums, 4 star pendulums, that can balance the deck, fitting tuners, pendulums, your level 4s, & strong monsters in a 40 card is hard, I play with Pendulums, but I only play a max of 6 pendulum cards, 4 at the lowest.
I did the exact same thing
So just to clarify a few things:
- This is NOT Konami's doing. This is being done by a 3rd party, who have been granted access to YuGiOh's IP and everything associated with it, including the right to take legal action
- This third party DO have a reason.
Go after the sims a week before your client launches, not MONTHS before.
i 100% agree. If this hearthstone rumor ends up being true, they better not f*** it up, which there's a high chance it will happen :P
im reaching to konami to give us INFO on the new game, cause if its another game where you have to pay PER DUEL, and you dont even get all the cards at the start then im going to make this channel into a Overwatch/other games channel
Pay to win or Pay to play that would be really the worst anyone could do lmao the DN community wasn't the best one but the game was fun and it was a good game to test decks, play with friends or teach people the game
your ace attorney pic makes me trust you.
If they are planning to do a new game they only need to follow this specifications:
-Make it both online and ofline game modes
(story mode, puzzle mode, random deck mode, tournament mode, etc) (if the story mode is a good rpg, where you can explore and do more stuff than playing the card game, even better.
AND MOST IMPORTANT: Make all the cards FREE AND AVAILABLE FROM THE START
you can lock them during story mode so you don't shrekt the CPU using meta, but for online play, for the love of god, don't make us buy decks.
Even that is insufficient.
One of the best things YGOpro has over any official product is that you can script your own cards, allowing you to implement anime and custom cards to play with friends.
Brilliant
but its still better then nothing and good aswell
unique story too, like with new characters for that game. not just tagging along with the mc. imagine a bunch of characters using current meta as part of the main story!!
You want some french fries with that too buddy?
Get real kid. They dont give 2 fucks about our opinions.
Buy and demand is the name of the game.
My story is pretty similar. My brother had a few cars we played with, sadly there are no yugioh shops here, so having a real card is very rare.
What if Konami wants Yugioh to fail on purpose
thats what i was thinking too
If so then they should be expecting an angry mob of fans wanting to rape them in their dicks and make them pay for what they've done to this game.
yeah. i recall them saying they wanto to get out of the gaming world
when I saw xyz I thought the same thing lol
Konami is making a new PC game Winter 2016.If you want to play the game now download a game called YU GI OH the dawn of a new era.
This is bullshit, you know god damn well that DN And YGOPro were the only things keeping this game relevant and Alive. GG Konami you killed your company, unless they release a YGOPro like game (Looking at their past I say they wont put much effort in at all) This game will see a massive decrease in support
they are litteraly killing their own games
they could of made heartstone type of gsme and make money off it but koonami like silent hills manages to fk it up
+Rick Melethron yeah its to bad I though the game was changing for the better with cheaper decks but now no one is gonna spend money to try out a deck I wouldn't.
Tho I doubt that Konami would have no say at all in it if they wanted to interfere.
man cancelling silent hill, breaking ties with hideo kojima and now this, Konami has really fucked itself recently
Rip yugioh. It has been a fun trip.Time for something else.
vanguard
+fieboy12 Or Weiss Schwarz and Force of Will maybe?
Wanna play some Hearthstone!
+Dark RedWho (DarkRedWho) Played Pokrmon tcg a couple months before getting back to yugioh. Kinda regret it now.
Clash Royale
And then konami releases some shitty app dueling game that sucks and costs $500 a year to keep playing some how.
loool yh I guess wel jus have to wait for a new game in FUKIN WINTWR!! cuz I'm not gonna lie to any1 I actually enjoyed legacy of the duelist
this is temporal fellas wait until that thing flops.
you mean ygopro?
Download the game YU GI OH! the dawn of a new era. Also this guy has no idea what he is talking about,Konami is making a new game for PC winter 2016.
Konamis new game will problably be shit

Yamato Sam I go play me some Pokemon sun and moon and xenoverse 2! lol THAT IT I TELLING FUCKEN BEERUS Yamato Get me my cell phone lol
If you want the feel of cards play dokkan?
RawrsForEver i don't play games that much on my phone lol
The Ritual Kings I don't even got locals :[ no one in my towns plays yugioh lol
Do you by any chance know the original author's name? And while we're at it, any social media accounts that he may have?
Sure do, Kazuki Takahashi and his twitter, twitter.com/vvxo, He own's his own drawing company, as well as a part time investor into his wife's company.
+PinuyashaRPG Whats to stop you from selling the mat online?
welp, I won't be coming back. I was using these to catch up after a 6 year break. Now guess I'll just focus on MTG soley now.
Look up a game on the PC called YU GI OH the dawn of a new era. It's free online dueling, you have access to all of the cards, and there aren't any viruses.I downloaded it myself. Also there is a new YU GI OH game coming in Winter.
+RL9 How is it expensive? I play Magic and one of my modern decks only cost me $25 and I can beat a lot of high tier modern decks.
DN is the reason I got back into yugioh in highschool :/ I dont think I wouldve played again if there wasnt such a plataform
It was just the same to me...I just hope Devpro doesn't get shut down
wow they really want yugioh to die
right! well konami has been fucking up...i stop supporting them since they got rid of hideo kojima
Don't worry guys! Yu-Gi-OH! Pachinko is on the way!
+pkmdz /wrist
xyz, synchro and now this
butthurt player who came back to the game after long absence here
+pkmdz no, keep pachinko shenanigans to Japan only. If Pachinko was never created, We would be good.
good job konami, you just played yourself
you activate your own trap card lol
Dark Hole themselves.
They sent themselves to the Shadow Realm
Stupid Konami MST doesn't negate mirror force
Don't play yourself... Love RA herself
With Devpro/YGOPro/DN/etc:
1) Players test out new cards in advance.
2) Players decide whether they like new cards.
3) Company gets feedback well in advance.
4) Future sets get better with this feedback.
5) Sales improve with people knowing they'll like what they get more.
6) Game continues to thrive.
Without them:
1) Players can't test out new cards to see if they like them or not.

I'm not wasting 500$ for a cardboard meta
500$ can buy a ps4 and other stuff
500 dollars is like a year long subscription to premium porn , why waste it on a childrens card game :D
+Kevin Nguyen (kevinloks1937) I'm Dead XD
time to roll out that high grade printer and play with proxies
+Kevin Nguyen (kevinloks1937) You can watch porn for free (brazzers, naughty america, blacked etc.) just sayin
YGOPro just got an update today, so I think it'll continue to be supported.
Nah, people just need freak out first. The damn servers are fine and there was an update still.
It's more of a problem that no one new can get the game unless its through some illegal bunker in the woods until further notice.
It's 2016. Ask and it shall be delivered.
Where can I find this update?
It's automatic, they added those new actor cards.
konami dropped a bomb on themselves
let rebel by not buying anymore yugioh cards
+He Zhang lol tell that to the yugitubers that coolect them.
+He Zhang wouldn't it only kill the game further?
A bomb named Nihon Ad Systems.
Yu-Gi-Oh! was my life.
Future Card Buddyfight is a fantastic alternative card game to play over this dead ass game.
Just my luck, me and the friends just got into playing on DevPro a lot.
OH GOD NOOO!!! It over man... it over. Yugioh is gone. It finish, it the end of the world as we know it. Please this can't be happening.
Konami activated their own trap card
just move to hearthstone not pay2win and never shutdown EleGiggle
+Brayden Hathaway That makes konami banish their own cards from their deck.
It's called "You played yourself"
+Brayden Hathaway it was self destruct by the way
I'm going to check out magic the gathering
Force of Will
Fans Of Video Games Show looks like a really fun game I can't wait to get started
+Specter Makoto it is and really cheap to get into, also they are getting a devpro version in september from the company for playtesting
+Specter Makoto Force of Will tcg ftw
+Fans Of Video Games Show What do you mean devpro version like will it be free?
+Slaydra YGOPro has a Discord chat where you can get the download and if i am not mistaken they will keep it updated
Damn. Slaydra you legit got me back into the game too. I wouldnt have gotten good without your vids and shit. RIP in pep the dream
At least up until someone hosts it in some weird country that doesn't follow the same copyright laws.
So, when is Cardfight Online coming out? Bushiroad actually supports online simulators!!!
i'd be more interested in a weiss schwarz simulator.
+Daniel Norton I've wondered about that.
Time to play POKEMON SHOWDOWN again... Thank y´all !
XD time to ladder in OU
+DeltaTheAwsome PSYFrame I'm at 1700 already
Keyz G-ck Nice. I haven;t played too much due to DevPro still working.
only time that game is fun is if you do random pokemon battles other wise the item and stat abuse on there is the most cancerous shit i have ever seen in my life
I also play Pokémon Showdown and 3DS. I am very interesting in playing Uncommon Pokémon against Common Pokémon. it's a challenge
yes this is a big point that the community needs to make konami understand!I my self quit yugioh for many years and only recently got back into it because I found dueling network,I was only able to get updated...because dueling network,I became a pro...because dueling network...,I desperately found local tournaments...because dueling network,I BUY THE CARDS!guess why.because dueling network, the only thing killing DN,Ygopro and potentially Devpro will bring for the company is a HUGE decline in sales, not to mention interest!who here agrees with me and feels the same?
I have been playing since i was 8 im 24 years old now and still love this game to this day. Losing ygopro and the others really hurts with working and chasing storms for the national weather service i dont have a lot of time to play and im a slow learner these apps always helped me since i started using them my skills have gotten alot better. Sad day for yugioh i really hope this game doesnt die out. It is my go to when im upset or mad the game is a stress release. We have yugioh night every weekend at my buddys house. It gets us to unwind from a work week and such.
SCREW IT IM DONE YUGIOHS DEAD if you guys need me ill be playing vanguard
Vanguard is cancer
ok fine pokemon
Nah Vanguard is fun, it doesn't have as much crazy deck strategy as Yugioh, but it's nice not to get OTK'd/FTK'd
I wish I had a card shop that did something else besides yugioh and Pokemon jeez lol
lel vanguard is even worse atleast play pokemon hearthstone or magic
gg konami it was a good run
not unsubing you, but i am leaving
Download the game YU GI OH! the dawn of a new era on your PC.Also Konami is making a new game for PC winter of 2016 this guy has no idea what he is talking about.
good thing im too poor to get real cards
"This is something that is very very serious."
**Wears all gold reflective DOPE snapback**
lmfao.
my friend introduced me to dueling network acouple years ago, got addicted to it... to the point where i actually searched and bought my decks online, my first 3 complete decks had me spent 500-800 bucks with buying the card accesories, booster pack hunting etc. and i dont regret any of it and i recently wanted to get back into DN to make a new deck just to find out they are taking down all the yugioh simulators... so they just lost out on possibly 500-800 bucks and thats just one person.
By that logic, better shut down the Yugioh Card Database and the Wikia because they're "Stealing the Pictures" too.
See? I warned you guys... but nooooooo... I was the fool... >.>
yeah a fool he/she is LOL
who's the fool, the fool or the fool that follows him?
How long did you wait to be finally right? lol
Try Ygopro Dawn of a new era, This would help, and I assume this would be the last safe haven to play, you can transfer all your decks from ygo or dev to play on it.
Wait really?!
DominoDoesStuff Yea, its also going to be having a free singleplayer duelist kingdom dueling AI with all the original decks from duelist kingdom, its pretty awesome.
+john bain But theres so many glitches in it
Better than nothing... and they have fixed a lot of their issues, would you rather this or none at all?
+john bain the only problem is how long until that gets shut down too?
Yo if it's not Konami who the hell is causing all this legal trouble
NAS if u watch the show it's the company
It's Nihon Ad Systems. They control the rights to images.
The Third Party
hmmmmmmmm.......Konami is simply exercising their control.
No one. Yeah.........big surprise.......hmmmpft!
also time, this idea would take time.....probably like......2-4 years....
we can simply "rebel" by not buying yugioh cards.
Azn is the whole reason I have devpro, & my main deck. If this is the end, then I just wanna say thank you, Azneyes. Your videos taught me so much.
This really sucks, especially for people like me that don't play competitive too much, but just wanna play with friends and occasionally mess around in competitive, but can't play much irl. They better make this new online game good, but I doubt it...
Otherwise Konami is going to pay for all they've done to this game in the most graphic way possible.
This is why I went to majoring in MTG there's more to do plus you never have to worry about new sets or things like this happening, just play whatever format you like most and enjoy.
same, Mtg is so much heathier and fun to play i enjoy it more than yugioh.
How do u play I might just move on to that
harrikm50 you should check out some tutorials, plus MTG is easier to learn and understand then yugioh
It also has a lot more variations in how the game can be played, for example commander games can be played with 3+ players
this is actually a good chance for me to drop the game and walk away from everything...
For everyone who still don't have ygopro: you can still download the game from the german site and I'm pretty sure that you can change the language
ok so here is my delema, the nearest locals is like 4 hours away and even then its only on Sundays. I live in a small town where no one plays yugioh on a serious level and the only three people i know who play live in the next town over or even in a completely different city like my cousin who we don,t get to visit in person often yugioh was one of the few things that brought everyone together and gave us something to do and i doubt that i never really liked the pokemon tcg and i will ever be able to adjust to hearth stone or magic and become as good as i am at yugioh simply because im so used to the mechanics and yugioh was my FIRST tcg that i ever played it got me outa the house and helped me spawn new interest and venture more
not to mention if it hadn't been for yugioh i never would have met all the friends i have made due to our common interest in yugioh so even though this hurts me a lot i will mostlikely quit playing yugioh. This truly is a sad day for all of yugioh I hope you RIP
Farewell yugioh community this pendulum is swinging out.
you're totally spot on, i got retired from YGO and was starting to consider going back, but first, get to know the meta through DN to my surprise I check only to see this now i don't think i want to know about YGO
Now I play the Pokemon Video Game competitively (which in itself is not doing so hot, either.)
I'm honestly sorry to hear how Yu-Gi-Oh's doing.
No joke that's what I would have done. Can make hella bank from that. I wouldn't mind 5 bucks to keep ygopro running.
Now I just feel cut off from the game completely :(
From someone who doesn't have access to a Card Shop:
-Used DN to get my YuGiOh fix.
You can also win against updated decks. I sometimed win with my Crystal Beast deck and that is an old deck. I even defeated slaydra with it :D
I was a Clan Leader on Dn with over a 120 members and it's really sad to see all my members break up :( I wish we were all together
i'll be dead honest, i play hearthstone as a f2p as my main card game and i've never invested money on it (wanted to prove a point to a stubborn cheapstake friend) however i play it since beta and when i tried to invite people into the game they just quitted in two weeks because the new player experience for card games in general wether they're physical or digital or both is stupdly brutal, so unlesss the new yugioh has some way of secondary market likepokemon tcgo has, the playerbase for konami's new game won't be enough... also aznetyes i think it's time for you to try TCGone is kind of the devpro for pokemon tcg (you unlock entire expansions as you level up but the end result is having all the cards in the game :D)
