Congratulations, for the first review it was on point. Adding these pics in the end brings the figure to life. Also sharing some info about the movie and the suit makes it stand out from other reviews that just talk about the figure itself.

YES!!! Finally someone gets it! I’ve been telling people this since the controversy and every time I do they openly insult me, ignore me and tell me to get lost! It’s like they don’t want their beliefs and opinions challenged on the account that it might come off as problematic.
I’m just tired of people demanding some unique predator species only to complain when they get it. They just want all predators to be the same species with some very minor differences. That’s like saying “nah bruh, all big cats should look like the lion with minor differences per species. It’s scientifically impossible for other big cat species to look vastly different depending on the location and environment!”
Either way, I’m really happy I’m not the only sane person who thinks this so thank you!
It's one of the aspects that I believe make predator films so interesting. The variations we see on screen can be compared to the variations we see within the human race. some have longer dreads, others have scalars skin, some use a lot of technology while others stick to melee weapons. It's all so interesting to me. That's why I like the Feral predator so much because he still feels like he's a part of the same predator species, while being so distinctly unique.

I held him in my hand today. I felt like I was looking at a couple pieces of tree bark wearing a squirrel skull. I'm way more impressed with the ultimate jungle Hunter
The updated Jungle Hunter is nice! The Feral edges it out for me. The Jungle Hunter is an awesome design, but there are just a few tweaks to that figure I would want made for it to be truly ultimate.
@@alanthecollector believe me I was tempted to get him. I really like the picture and the character. But the figure just didn't have enough pop for me. To monotony. I recently passed on the NECA Murphy as well. I have the new Robocop with the additional Weller head, and I still display him with the RoboCop one. The coolest thing about Murphy....... He's RoboCop. I guess I've become more selective in my old age 😁. But I'll tell you this. I would cut off my pinky and put it in a box and mail it to NECA. If they'd only release a blade runner 1982 line. That and RoboCop 2014🤞🙂
@@Megamentsh Totally understandable! As for Blade Runner 1982. I don't think there's a chance. The 2049 figure did not perform very well for them, though they are pretty splendid figure if you ask me. Randy Falk of NECA has also gone on record that he will never make a Robocop 2014 figure. It's a shame because I thought the film was a pretty good reboot and took the concept in a refreshing more grounded direction.
@@alanthecollector I bought the blade runner 2049 Deckard and officer K figures. I swapped Deckard's head and hands with K's. Resulted in a pretty awesome figure. And is actually an official NECA blade runner figure. Even though he's made from two different blade runners. At this point I had to do what I had to do. Honestly pretty happy with the result. Prior Deckard looked like an old man chasing kids off the front lawn. Hey. Get off my lawn kid! And RoboCop 2014 is pretty good once you could break from the expectations of the original film. 😁👍

Awesome video! I have a super guilty pleasure of specifically watching NECA Predator reviews, stumbled upon yours and you did a fantastic job. I loved the movie and knew the Predator would be an instant buy when they made it. I think Neca knocked this one out. They’ve really been next level since working some of their qc plagues out.

Dope ass Predator figure and the bear trap was something I was thinking would look cool with this.

The bear trap fits works so well with the Feral Predator.

I HAD this preordered but I've had issues with neca figures being very fragile in the past so I cancelled it. Now, I GOT to get this. Fantastic review, just subbed to you.
Big Thanks! Definitely try to get this figure in your collection! NECA's quality Control has been much better as of late. This figure required no heat to get it moving and nothing felt fragile! Obviously take whatever precautions you want to, but I think this is figure is a winner! you won't regret having it in your collection!

The feral predator face design has really grown on me, I like it much more than the super predator designs from Predators. I gotta get this figure. Tho I wish the dreads had some jewelry in them so the "hair" wouldn't look like one big black mass from a distance, but that's the movie desing so what you gonna do? I hope NECA will do some of their own versions of this breed of predators.

NECA really captured the look from the film well and all of the added touches like the magnets and mandible expressions really push it over the edge! This s definitely a figure that lives up to the ultimate moniker! I hope you get this figure soon! Thanks for watching!
I was on the fence about picking this figure up but after your review I think I'm headed out to get him lol.
That means a lot! For what it's worth, Definitely don't sleep on this guy. He's my currently one of my favorite figures of the year hands down. A lot of care was put into this figure! If you do get it I hope you enjoy it!

Still waiting for Target to get this guy (and Lexington) in. Even though I wasn't a fan of the movie, or a fan of the "river alien" skull mask...it's still a damn fine looking figure. From all the feedback, it seems like me and my two friends are the only ones that didn't like it lol.
I managed to find mine in Target. Hopefully the distribution for this figure increase as we approach the Holidays. This figure really does it for me!
This looks dope but 1/6 from Hot Toys is a diff' beast. Beside NECA is getting out of control with their price. I will pay full price for this. Just gonna wait until it goes on sale.

Where do you get Toronto spear ?
Tonto's spear came with NECA's short lived Dawn of the Planet of the Apes figure. I think that one was from the Series 1 Koba figure. They are a bit on the pricey side these days, but you might find an affordable alternative spear that works well from 4 Horsemen Studio's Mythic Legions line.
Are there a fake one?
Not that I know of. I know it can be bought overseas from sellers in China. While I think they are still legit figures I wouldn't risk it if you are not an experienced collector. I would stick with U.S. based web stores like Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toy Store. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I really want to like this predator design, but i just can't. To the face and the mask. Seems way off for me. I just dont like it. Great movie though 👌🏽
The design initially threw me off, but the more I got used to it, the more I came to really enjoy it. In my opinion this design almost looks like a cross between the super predator design from the third film and the classic predator face which helps support the idea that there is just one predator species but they can look very different depending on what region of their planet the hail from just like humans. Glad yo at least enjoyed the movie. Seriously consider picking this guy up though. You might like it more than you think! Thanks for watching.

I think the movie was far from trash, but to each their own. If you don’t mind me asking, what didn’t you like about it?
This movie was the frist ray of light this franchise saw in a long time. Some people well complain just to complain.
The only thing I didn't like was the horrid ending. Everything before that was great. The predator actually had an intimidating presence again and I've been waiting my whole life to see a pred finally jumping from tree to tree and killing thing other than just people. I'd love more movies where a pred hunts vikings or mideval knights.
The movie was okay. I am sure we all know there will be no any new Predator movie that will beat the Dutch and Harrigan séries.
The only odd thing I didn’t like about Prey is his crossbow. Why the Feral didn’t have a canon blaster?
I know the movie is back in the time but the feral predator already has the triple red laser pointer without blaster?!!! It didn’t make sense to me that these 3 red lasers were integrated into a skull, then pair to a crossbow. The movie would have been way better with Prey and a canon blaster. I’m sure Naru wouldn’t have killed the feral that easy.
I need more explanations to that if someone can let me know.
@@psg17sg31 I think the director's intention was that adding a plasma caster in this film or other energy based weapons would be overkill, so he wanted to give the Feral Predator weapons that were a refection of the tools the Comanche tribe had at their disposal. I don't think it means that plasma casters didn't exist back then though.
I think what a predator hunts with is mostly a matter of cultural practices and preferences. For example, the Falconer Predator in the third film didn’t hunt with a plasma caster and only had a blade as his primary weapon despite the Berserker and Tracker having plasma casters. The city hunter in Predator 2 despite having a plasma caster seemed to prefer melee weapons rather than flying on the plasma caster.
And in AVP the three brothers were tasked with entering the pyramid to fight aliens without their plasma caster and were intended to use a myriad of melee weapons to defeat the Aliens until they retrieved them.
For this reason I don’t believe that the Feral Predator is actually any more primitive than the previous iterations in other films. His morphology is different because he comes from a drier more arid region of his planet and thusly his hunting practices and preferences might reflect that.
