Thanks for the video. Something to consider is that the EQ before compression examples do not have volume compensation. Once you boost then the overall volume of the eq should be brought down to the same level as before so that the same volume feeds into the compressor.
I am (going to) run hardware EQ but will be putting it after hardware comp - but this is only because I can simply use digital eq before and after but not in between gear
I'm using compression on my master so there's no point in having EQing on each Channel after compression if I'm going to compress it again Besides when I do additive EQ I try to make that part of the sound at which point I would like to compress the whole sound not just certain frequencies
this is the only channel I need
