@@RoxletonShovelware studios has never made a game this high quality before. Yes, their obbies full of copyrighted material were a bit above average, nothing ever came close to the quality of Brain Game. Although Shrunken School Obby, the remake of their first obby, comes really close.

It's genuinely amazing to see Shovelware come come long from their beginnings. Even though the old games they made weren't the best, they contained tons of memories. The new game also remains feels of the olds. Props to them!

The games got deleted(probably because of copyright from Dreamworks and Dav Pikley, or whatever his name is)
I wouldn't say they "weren't the best." I mean, their obbies probably had the most effort but into them (no I'm not counting platforming games in general just obbies cause Robot 64, and Egg Hunt 2018 probably triumph over any Shovelware Obby) and Despicable Forces is probably still up there in at the Top 25 Roblox games for me

At this point, I'm not too surprised whenever a very old or obscure meme/trend/character makes an unexpected return, but I'll usually feel slightly dead inside for a few minutes when I see newer people only recognise it in its latest form, reminding me of how old I'm getting.

As someone who has been playing ROBLOX since 2016 onwards, I can say that the Dancing Banana didn’t fully die out in ROBLOX. There have been numerous times he’s shown up, like in SW Studio’s old games, or in games like Meepcity in the form of the TV.
Ngl, back then I could pull a pretty good impression of the OG song and I think I still can.

I don’t know about you guys but i teard up when i saw this game. It was so nostalgic to the point where i had to actually take a break. This is the best game on roblox now. I was an internet-obsessed kid back in the 2000's and i watched that Peanut Butter Jelly Time Banana on Newgrounds in 2005.
Peanut Butter Jelly Time has always been Shovelware Studios main icon, and thanks to that piece of humor just on the team's logo, the rest of the game's they have made a filled with great charm and fun little jokes around.
Man the Peanut Butter and Jelly time meme is such a classic I didn't know the Dancing Banana had a game on Roblox lol.
I was confused since I knew it was a meme for a while (I saw the dancing banana gif in random videos, normally meme videos with other meme dances), but I never knew where that came from, nor did I ever hear the song. But when you said it was from 15 years ago... Oh that makes sense, I was a 1, almost 2 years old baby 😭
When I saw the roblox game, I knew I had seen it somewhere else before. Very cool, glad I can now enjoy the meme with everyone else!
the game also sometimes has a family guy reference where the banana falls in the peter position, and sometimes also ends with him doing a SM64 backwards long jump. From an obby factory to a hell of an experience, shovelware is taking a weird but awesome direction.
True, they had some great quality from the start (mostly the writing, that was the funniest crap to 10-year-old me) in almost every aspect given their limitations of “obby”

i remember a point during my childhood where me and a bunch of kids were gathered around a teacher during recess as she played the peanut butter jelly time song using her phone, and we were all dancing to it. i can't remember if it happened during kindergarten or elementary, but i still remember it fondly. if only i had the confidence to dance the same way i did back then.

As someone who still vividly remembers Peanut Butter Jelly Time when they were younger, nothing is funnier than watching actual children complain about me (literally about to attend university) somehow knowing all the answers on an edutainment trivia game geared towards children. I’m still so angry I didn’t get a chance to screenshot the hiimdaisy persona 4 comic reference when it popped up in a game I was playing, and my boyfriend flipped out when he saw the old Super Mario Bros Show YTP reference. I’m so happy Shovelware Studios is getting REALLY popular. When I played Roblox (I don’t anymore. I don’t condone the shady practices of the company and don’t want anything to do with them). They made some of the most high quality games on the platform. With cutscenes and everything (I’m not sure if cutscenes are standard now, but they were really special back then)
I loved their games, but they were really obscure. And I’m happy the team is getting the praise they deserve.

I was born in 2002. I primarily remember Peanut Butter Jelly Time from Roblox games that included the sound effect, but I also knew about the animation/video.
I was smiling for pretty much this entire video!

For a Roblox game, this is very well-made.
I grew up with the dancing banana and Shovelware’s roblox games, seeing both of them get the recognition they deserve is making me feel so much joy.
Funny enough, I knew the dancing banana from a different Roblox game (The Normal Elevator), and I also loved all of Shovelware Studios’ themed obbies. Seeing the banana AND Shovelware Studios back is super cool, especially in this format.
I hate it when an old famous character gets forgotten then comes back in a popular game which gets the character popular again. Then other kids think that they come from that game...
Shovelware Studios has been around for a long time, with the banana being the mascot. Actually, the character had very little reference to the actual Banana, with his character actually being a SpongeBob reference (the "am i really going to dig up this grave for money" gag) The games were obbies based on pop culture characters, like Captain Underpants, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Cars, SpongeBob, and Despicable Me. These obbies were well known for their charm, high quality, and even story. They also made a Grinch Tycoon and a version of that tower game. Sadly, their work was copyrighted and they had to take everything down, with their most famous obbie, the Captain Underpants one, being remade without the characters from the book. Some of their games did get preserved, and they plan on bringing back their other obbies without the elements of copyright. Their sense of humor and way of dialogue has not changed since the Despicable Forces obbie, their most high quality work. While the Peanut Butter Jelly Time banana has been the mascot and was obviously based off the meme of old, it was never needed to make their work have anymore value. From what I have seen, their is not much essence of the song or the dance in the game, just a face, with the pleasure of the game simply coming from the amazing studio. Well, that's my Roblox history lesson. Goodbye.

3:47 actually shovelware studios made some other "experiences" and they were obby games. basically obstacle courses that you need to pass to get to the end. they deleted them but i remember this one obby about captain underpant's friend's school got shrunk. and you have to find who did it (they game out with a new version of that obby and they made some.. Revisions!) so they had alot of recognition. Also shovelware studios had their icon as the dancing banana for a long time (to the big bang to today lol)

I've been following shovelware studios for a while and I can guarantee they make actually good games on roblox, this specific one has absolutely astounding animation and voice acting, full of references to their previous works and other pop culture characters. Roblox can be pretty, ahem... terrible, but this is one of the good ones.

Shovelware studios was my childhood, I was heartbroken when they removed the obbies, after shrunken school obby came out I was glad they made a comeback, but didn't get as much fame despite its high quality. After slime simulator or whatever it was called I was so mad they stopped doing obbies, that I left their group (I did eventually play slime simulator and it honestly was very good). After the brain game was announced I thought it would be another bust, not as popular as the old ones, but I was wrong, DEAD WRONG! The quality, the animations, the osts, it was all so good..... And I found out that some fans brought back the old obbies with the exact same quality, I think their group name was Shovelware runners or something, anyways Shovelware really has improved over the years and I am looking forward to future games and updates in the future 🤪

When I was younger my mom used to randomly play Peanut butter jelly time in her car so I grew up listening to it (I was born in 2006 btw) so it's good to see him in a new style!

Shovelware also made Roblox obbies using licensed characters, but they were removed.
One managed to save one of the obbies, which is Despicable Forces (calling it Despicable Forces Ultimate). Basically mixing an overmilked film franchise and a mid Sonic game and you get one of the best obbies in my opinion.
