Funny you should mention that, that was actually very similar to my plan for my RadWagon! 😂 I ended up getting enough mileage out of my bike that I didn't think I needed it in the end, but if I were bike-packing, 100% I would install this setup!!
I like your videos but I have to laugh everything you have one that shows your shadow from the sun. The shadow looks like the robot in Mystery Science Theater 3000. If you have never seen it watch one online and you will get a chuckle.... keep up the good work on cruising the PNW!

Comparing it to a motorcycle. Do you have an m/c license and have you owned a street bike for a length of time? For commuting, I've found it very rough riding comparing it to a street bike. As a toy for approved bike trails they are fun.
I do have my motorcycle endorsement! I used to have a scooter (loved that) a Ninja 250 (bad idea) and a Honda VTX1300R (great bike, didn't ride it enough!)
I've never actually tried to ride specific trails though, in Seattle, we accidentally find ourselves on one! They're much different I'd say, bike to motorcycle, but I like the bike more because I warm up faster and see much more! I think I looked cooler on my cruiser with my loud pipes though 😂😂 I just feel so mucb better after a bike ride and motorcycles have their own fun but I never felt much better after!
I was wondering, I would like to try traveling with just the e bikes. I have taken one of my motorcycles on the back of the Mh on local trips. I seem to always flat tow my wrangler on longer trips. I enjoy other perspectives that give us reasons to consider
It may be worth the try! If you have the option, you could always tow the Jeep to fall back on should you absolutely hate it! 😂 We love biking primarily because it slows us down, which is something we tend to do wrong while traveling - we try to see everything we possibly can and really end up enjoying nothing. Cool views that last a few minutes, but no real depth. The bikes really help with all of that for us!
