Just discovered you over the past month, and have been intrigued and enlightened by your niche fragrance selections with colorful exciting descriptions! I'm in my mid-sixties and never enjoyed wearing many fragrances, since I had such a sensitive sense of smell, they always left me with a headache or nauseous. Over the last 10 years or so, I have loved wearing these perfumes that I discovered by asking women what they were wearing when in my presence. Love to wear Clive Christian X, Bal D'Afrique, Chanel's Allure, Cartier So Pretty, and my all time favorite, most sexy, beautiful and exotic find was from a 2009 vacation in Egypt. It was worn by errotic dancers, supposedly, an oil, and I purchased a large bottle from a major fragrance house while there. It was called "Secret of the Dessert" and I only wished I had purchased a dozen bottles. All my perfumes mentioned above, I love, however, they all seem to dissipate after a few hours leaving just a hint on my skin. So disappointing, but the oil from Cairo, "Secret of the Dessert" melted into my skin and was so sensual and errotic, but soft and mellow. Nothing like it. I saved a few drops for a memory whiff. My husband loved it and searched all over the internet, bought a few that were touted to be authentic oil, but did not compare to original from Egypt. Wish I could go back to Cairo; want that fragrance oil so terribly, but, not happening. Always looking to find a blended fragrance to emulate it, but not yet. So, I just ordered samples of perfumes you mentioned in a fairly recent video, and should be receiving next week. Initio Rehab, Giorgio Armani Prive, Parfum de Marly Delina, Baccarat Rouge 540, Ylang in Gold, Malle Carnal Flower, and finally, a full bottle of Orchidee Vanille (hope I like that one, blind)! I'm so excited to receive and hopefully love them in my slowly growing collection. BTW, I never liked any Chloe, popular when I was in high school and college. I remember wearing Halston (late 70's) for my first job; then fell in love with Oscar - very sweet, but affordable back then. That was it - now, this is an exciting new hobby for me, semi-retired, but loving learning about fragrances. Thank you and can't wait for your next reviews.

For me, "all year round" is Narciso Rodriguez FOR HER EDT (black bottle). It suits every occasion and for me it's classy.
But I agree with you, most of Narciso Rodriguez are just gorgeous, but, unfortunately, very underrated 😊
I own and love Prada La Femme and it is everything you said. With this one you'll always smell super clean, feminine and very classy and "rich", what a perfect scent. And I just loooooooooove Prada Pour Homme, I see it as a very sexy scent. I can imagine Mr. Grey wearing this one (sexy, white shirt, confident business man)... ❤️

Pure Musc is the only fragrance I don't regret buying a full-size bottle of. I am obsessed with it. It's so hard to find the fragrance when literally all perfumes give you headaches. This one is absolute heaven.

I LOVE Stella McCartney Stella original. Some of my favourites are by Miller Harris - Rose Silence, Scherzo and Lost in the city. Another one is Penhaligon’s Duchess Rose.

Florabotanica is my signature scent 😍 it can be worn as you said, and I always receive compliments.
My current favorite is JoMalone Velvet Rose & Oud and my "go to all season/all location" is Dior PurePoison too :)

Coco Mademoiselle i gifted ago around 2 weeks to my mother, i just never worn it anymore although i really like the fragrance as a hole, but it's just as you said over worn! Pure Musc, uff, there not a lot of designer fragrances where im obsessed with a fragrance, especially when they are linear like PM, but Narciso Rodriguez is just such a good quality, and can compete with several way more expensive niche fragrances i smelled, easily and of course especially with their interpretation of musc!! Bought PM ago around 2 months, and i cant remember about the last designer fragrance, the i worn that often as i do it now with Pure Pure Musc, bcs you can layer PM with every other fragrance out there, and give them such a beautyfull lift and this cosy freshness, just beautyfull!:)
Mine is L'imperatrice by D&G (but this is because I prefer that kind of smell and it's one of my signature scents..for most people I think would be more a spring/summery perfume). Also, aquasun (was made by Francis Kurkdjan for Lancaster) was my signature scent and I think it was perfect for every occasion and all year round!!

I LOVE Bottega Veneta fragrances and you are right - very underrated house and kind of vintage vibes.The original by many people is thought to be a fall fragrance,but maybe because the notes are misleading.In the summer it gets very waxy buttery lipstick - like vibes which already reads vintage.
If you’ll ever get a chance to order a sample I really encourage you check out Knot Absolute - beautiful resinous yet powdery vibes. STUNNING!
If I will ever get a chance I want to collect all their lines including Illusione (WOW!) ,because they are really really treasures and even though they are made by Coty, I am so afraid they gonna be discontinued or something .

Finally! A perfume you tube channel that mentions Botega Veneta. This is my favorite and something that doesn't get any love on you tube. Don't know why because it is gorgeous. I have actually repurchased this, as I am running out of my first bottle.
My top is Tresor la nuit . For all is this parfum for night but i love it for every Day and can’t stop wear.😊 Then I love Mon Guerlain edt, Shiseido Zen, Tiffany&Co EDP. I own much more parfums but this 4 I love in this time 😊
My favorite everyday has been 3 different ones and I rotate them: glossier you, kuumba Persian Garden and Aboukir.

All through the ‘90’s all I wore were either Chanel#5 or Coco, so I’ve never worn Coco Mademoiselle.. I have a thing about it but I should at least know what it smells like.. Anyway I personally love to hear about niche AND designer frags, so please do a 10 year round niche video also!

They have a fragrance called frangipani thats one of there best sellers.there pretty affordable for niche.i dont hear much about this house i just typed up a rosewood and amber fragrance and this brand came up.and then today...you said you really like frangipane .so maybe i was meant to tell you about it. Mint is the Topnote of Florabotanica, thats what i read everywhere. Thats why i blindbought it yesterday. I love everything Minty. I‘m waiting for it to arrive... i think it will line up with my 3 lightweights in my Collection. I cant wait to smell it.
My everyday and signature Scent for a long long Time is/was LouLou from Cacharel. Its very affordable. But i like it. Very Heavy and long lasting (like i like it) and if the opening dosent suit you, wait 30 minutes, it gets better by the minute.
I think i will own this till i die :D

I love your knowledge and would love to know more about scent. I have always loved things that smell good, as do my daughters. I am so funny about what I like though. Since you are such a connoisseur, I would love a recommendation of something that is an expensive smiling musky, patchouli, maybe amber scent. I am not one that has ever wanted my scents to smell like food, cookies etc. I am probably not a gourmand. I am a novice at notes so who knows. Just always wanting to find something that I love. Maybe a little woody, not sure. I know that you hear this all of the time, but you are a gorgeous young lady that seems to be so wise beyond your years.

Anyway I know these are not exactly sophisticated and I don’t want to wear them every day. In 2919 every day was Jo Malone Mytrh and Tonka- love that one.

I do tend to get perfume for everyday, all year around, office appropriate, inoffensive, not too loud, fresh and clean kinda scents. (well.... I know, sound boring) the place I live/ the environment around me not really appreciate unique perfume. some people even hate it if it is too loud and too offensive ( interrupt others' private space). People love people smell good but nothing too loud. smelling soft, clean and fresh sound boring but just so universal.

Chloe nomade smells like Sydney to me& someone who would wear viktoria woods or kookai clothing styles idk it’s just so Sydney it’s old but very modern. It’s definitely out of my fragrance range I normally go for gorman sweet but I really like how different it is& it’s definitely not for everyone
