How? Pray tell , did you get that thick thread through the needle that you provided?
That deserves a video of its own.
I ended up finding a needle with a much larger hole, that I was able to thread.

It looks like 2 punch holes are missing on the sole. There are 2 spaces with no hole Counted 18 holes on the sole and 20 on the top. I’ll add those 2 holes.
