Steve Allen was an outspoken liberal so the third question was a "gimme" for that couple. It might as well have been asked of the Mondales. As for Vicki Lawrence, politically she moved radically to the left later, long after this show was recorded. It's probably not a coincidence that it happened at the same time she lost her youthful good looks.
