I did the 131 with my 21 Ultra. All I can say is WOW! Since I have all the parts that came out I've seen those, but until watching this video I'd never seen all the parts that went into my bike. A big thanks to both of you for producing this video and showing everything that goes into a 131 upgrade and how it's different from the stock 114 parts.
Wow what a great video and to be able to get to see what is getting done to the engine and to see the difference in the parts is really cool, so thank you both and a big shout out to Chris for being so informative about what you all are doing . Stay Safe out there
GOOD INFO !!! I just had a dealer install the S&S 475 cam kit with the PV tuner in my 2020 Fat Boy 114 so I am enjoying the explanation very much. THANKS for sharing !!! Anxious to see it running down the road !!!
It won’t make the power and torque that a aftermarket 124 will but, by using all HD Screaming Eagle parts you are staying within warranty. I’m confident that you are going to be very pleased with the power. Can’t wait to see your first trip and a 5k review.
Damn fine Video 👍..very educational and informative, I feel like I’ve been taken to school and I love it, you asked the right questions and Chris answered with his years of experience, this series of videos are fantastic, especially since we get the knowledge from Chris, great job 👍
Well good luck & I hope it stays together! I got 19,755 miles out of mine then a lifter turned in the bore & ended up doing a complete rebuild including cases & crank, jugs & pistons. Ended up doing Fueling race series oil pump, cam chest, 592 cam, pushrods, lifters, beehive valve springs, S&S lifter plates, fueling rocker shafts, evolution industries compensator delete, fuel Moto 6.3 injectors, trask clutch basket, recluse torque drive clutch, cush dampener. But you absolutely positively have to go with S&S lifter plates...
This is also a good time to put the SS guardian kit in that comes with their roller rockers and rocker stud kit. It squirts oil directly on top of the valve stem to cool the valve and reduce friction. I installed it on my Extream heads when I build my FM 128 last month
I have the same bike 2020 RGL all built by HD 131 SE parts took a shit at 14,000 miles on it. They are working on my second motor now 6k going back in it will go back to 114 Stage 2 if I have any issues this go around. Stay safe! You guys enjoy your new bike.
re: CAM, There's 2 measurements that indicate performance... LIFY & DURATION. LIFT refers to how fast a cam will open & close the valve. DURATION refers to how long the valve stays open. That 517 is a monster. It's gonna breathe like a basking shark feeding.
Your upgrade to a 131 is one of the only ones that makes sense. 2 up and loaded down, constant traveling in the mountains and all over the country. It is also a "wet head". The 131 needs the extra cooling. I see so many "size queens" upgrading and blowing up their motors that have no real reason to do so.
Dude you have a bike that thing's probably going to need wings cuz it's going to want to fly buddy will you and your beautiful woman have a beautiful night buddy later
Lol i laugh at these new guy i build one of the first 131 evo based harley motor not a merch lol 27 years ago , have to machine everything , you new harley guy got it made its Idiot proff to build one of these motors these days

You and Steph have come a long way since I first saw you on an Adam Sandoval video. Congratulations and God Bless.
thank you so much!!!!
Chris is a guy we all need in our life.
right!!! lol
great explanation from Chris. Thank you for taking the time to walk through the difference

You could eat dinner off those pistons. They look huge! You guys are going to love that beast!

Thank you for the side by sides. Awesome vid!!!!!
We have similar taste. Did the 131, stretched bags, smoke lighting on my 21 limited. Always like the techs talking thier way through the builds.
Awesome video very informative! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Danny! I appreciate you sharing that with me! I'm on the same page as you.... i hope it stays together :)
Hi Danny and thanks for your input. I am wondering where it is you like to shift?
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s

oh sweet! Thanks for the heads up

I noticed the cylinder skirts are very thin compared to the 114 cylinders.
114 is better with stage 2 than 131
Great informative video. Learning a lot. Getting some good ideas for my Road Glide 👍🏻
Haha Big Boar! Awesome. I loved your Mustang Seats Factory Visit.
Love this build series. Also Chris should start his own UA-cam channel. How he explains very thing is awesome. Not how some a hole Harley tech are.
I know exactly what you mean!!!
I truly enjoy you on UTube, love Steph’s voice coming from the clouds. Lol
I don’t know about SE me personally I would want Fueling or S&S cam plate/oil pump but I’m sure it is nice
Another Great Video Brotherman !!
🤘😎🤘🌴☀️🔥🎸🇺🇸🦅
131 !!
BadAss !!
Great 👍 video and cool to see. Hope it's smokes the road for you. Keep it rubber side down.
That looks great!
Your valves and piston heads on the 114 look clean. How many miles did you have on it. Great video! Thanks Brother!
What tuner did you youse to tune it what calibration did you youse
Wow! Oil build up already on the pistons
It isn't oil.... it is carbon. It is the byproduct from combustion and an internal combustion engine.
re: CAM, There's 2 measurements that indicate performance... LIFY & DURATION.
LIFT refers to how fast a cam will open & close the valve.
DURATION refers to how long the valve stays open.
That 517 is a monster. It's gonna breathe like a basking shark feeding.
S.E. lefty bearing?
Got the same bike & color ! Your inspiring me but not my wallet! Lol 😂
Why do they have twin cooled on the road glide limiteds but not the road glides ? What’s the difference
Good cam and tunes are produced more out of 114 than the 131 lol
That 131 will be a kick in the pants
Good Info
I would like to do this myself. But my question is do you have any idea what this will do to your fuel milagem
Not exactly sure but we will know within the next few weeks.
I have a feeling that the 131 may be problematic with the way you guys rack up the miles. But, it's gonna be fun!
We will see! :)

i know exactly what you are talking about!!!
Still using stock crank and rods, I assume???
Let.it rip.
run a thundermax if you want the most performance out of this build
Thanks for the suggestion
How many miles on the motor before you tore it all out?
ummmm like 3
3 miles? An the cylinder head already had that much oil on it??
What about the pusrot, uncle?
million dollar bogan has already built one, damn nice ride though
Dude you have a bike that thing's probably going to need wings cuz it's going to want to fly buddy will you and your beautiful woman have a beautiful night buddy later
Thanks Todd!!! :)
