- Incredibly fun to play, but man is it broken
Able to casually do 120 damage/150 AP damage with no cooldown on the regular bite, makes it very scary to go against. It also has the speed and mobility of a 2 slot, which makes it so much worse.
It ALSO thrives in hotspots, because funi 20% damage buff when near a corpse!
Oh well, I'll let dasp shine under the light, considering how long it was horribly weak for

If that Rex had a tail attack, that fight may have gone differently. I’m so used to people trying to tail ride my Spino, that having both a tail, stomp, and claw swipe (Since the Spino claw attack has a surprisingly large radius on the side) makes it easy to deal with tail riders.
I don’t think it’s necessarily op. Dasps were set to be the top tyrant way before the game released. Someone contributed a bunch of money to have Rex in the game. They don’t know what to do with Rex really.

Being set to be the top tyrant back before Rex was even planned isn’t much excuse for dasp invalidating stuff like pycno ezpz
Dasp isn’t particularly fun to play against anymore, it it’s normal bite had that old cooldown it’d be chill but it doesn’t, so playables it’s size and above get thrashed and smaller ones get munched in 2 hits, it stops becoming fun when you realise any solid dasp player is practically untouchable

They need to fix the rex cooldowns. Dasp.heavy bite deals 120 dmg. Recession charged bite deals only 100.at full.charge.
Rex notmal.bite deals 80, dasp does 80

They keep microbuffing dasp, ever since the night stalkers update it has been getting better and better. It also helps that all of its best counters have either been nerfed since the night stalker update.

They could increase its heavy bite cooldown a little but heres the thing
Things like cerato can get caught up by a dasp but the issue their is the devs decided to give cerato and other 2 slot dinos 1050 speed leading to things such kentro, cerato, and pachy being at the mercy of a dasp unless they run speed hide
If they made those 3 speed higher and kinda just get rid of speed hide for them + dasp losing its speed subspecies with its subspecies change
Dasp would be really well balanced as a more large game fighter that makes use of its deadly properties to better brawl with larger competitors compared to somenothers while playing into a market that most others above it dont entirely fill

Dasp and allo are my fav. Rex is hard to play. Get jumped 5v1 or 7v1 as soon as I leave a home cave.

I'd go bite + heavy bite or bite + armor bite (heavy is better against small / medium things. Like raptors, ceratos, allos. Armor is better against big things, like sucho, stego, rexes)

Eotrike is very op but also very boring. It’s slow, and fighting as it, you just spin in a circle and spam headbutt. Not very engaging

Its sad to see my fav 3 slot get turned into a mindless spam biting moronic creature that anyone can play now... the one thing i enjoyed about dasp was the fact that you had to time your bites really well to be effective, now you just spam bites without cooldowns... As a sidenote its bonebreak legit just snipes tf out of you now specially as a mid tier. Tried fighting them on cera and i just get sniped from god knows where by a barely charged bonebreak and i get 15 seconds??? You did really well with dasp in your video, but most people just play it cuz its easy to play and its broken rn...

I'd be fine with it being a dps machine, since that's still a viable role (admittedly a very boring one though). But it defo needs to lose some mobility, if that's the direction theyre headed with it
Hitboxes are Broken so you will get bone broken even in tail hits some times

Allo arguably turns better while Dasp has better PM.
But Dasp is 50 faster.

@@Sr_V2 disagree there. It’s as fast as a 2 slot, able to run down ceratos and achillos and barely slower than metri sty and conca (speed sub is quicker). It also has one of the best pms in the game, so it’s almost untouchable for smaller things. Smaller things also can’t assride because its back hitbox is huge. Get stuck half way up its tail and tail spammed
It needs to either lose some dps, or lose some mobility, because rn it’s the equivalent of legacy isle’s alberto

Same speed as Achillo who ks also a 3 slot but less stam.
Slower and with less Stam than Metri and Styra.
50 faster than iggy and Lamb but worse Stam.
It CAN'T run down Ceratos.
At best can try turn down one for like 1 min at best and that only if its right on the Cera's ass

Its Dps is actually still worse than Allo. Mostly cause of CW and Bleed

Defense is not great, probably the worst one. Speed is the best, but balance is best looking, so that’s what I went with

The Rex did use precise movement, but Rexes isn’t actually very fast. IIRC it’s around 30, anos is like 50 or 60 and Eotrike 40 or 50
