Major props to Dev for his skills as a runner. That bastion play with the brutes was epic to watch play out and work so well. This was such a fun and tense video, the ghast friend/foe was hilarious.
Lol, its all scripted. even the end fight. Dev could've kill dragon 1000 times without having trouble and yet he kept playing dumb. Only reason I keep watchimg is them arguing on every occasion xD

@@Cyberstranded It's not scripted. They know very well that scripting manhunts is fucking stupid and takes away from the actual intensity of the gameplay.
I love rooting for the person with no advantage, we finally see why Dev is so annoyed by the twists.
From the looks of it, that end city had 2-3 more loot rooms besides the end ship. If you had stacked up on what was in there, and/or gotten full diamond with enchants, you may have been able to win.

@@Kalicoat Yes, but dev was advising kier in the end (that’s how he survived that long). So diamond armor would have just made him survive long enough to finish of the dragon. Plus, it doesn’t take long to loot those other chests.
Honestly I am very impressed with Dev, if the Twist did not give Kier Armor that made him take 0 damage, this would have been an easy Dev Win.

Bro that’s actually a good theory. Mine was totally different. At 8:42 when they were on the tower, kier said he only had cobblestone stairs to tower with. I couldn’t figure out why he had cobble stairs, so my theory was they they dropped op loot

Oh gosh, lol- When i saw Dev getting slimes, i knew what was coming- this is the biggest brain play Dev has made- though he needed to stack up a little more on his loot-hunting so he could keep on cheesing Kier in the end - honestly Dev was unstoppable with this strat. I mean, free food, unlimited OP gear out there which could let him survive hits against Kier's OP-ness - and easy getaways. Yeah, Dev just had to watch his durability and do repairs/replacements.
Been a long time since someone went for the OP loot in the end- too long! (it helps when you need decent gear!)
I watched this while playing bedwars, and I didn't even need the visuals. The conversations were funny enough.
Rlly crossed my fingers for dev to win this time, going to the end city instead of wasting time on finding what the twist is was really cool, I don't think in any manhunt videos I've seen yet, without a twist that depends on end cities, that they decide to use the end city to help them win.
You guys should do a manhunt on the "Oh the biomes you will go" mod. It is really cool and adds a lot of biomes and items

Dev was GAMIN as a speedrunner dude. The boat clutches, the piglin trap, the elitra clutch, this was probs the most intense manhunt ive ever seen from kier and dev. AMAZING CONTENT.

8:40 somewhere he said he had cobblestone stairs, why would he make that unless it is the twist because making cobblestone stairs in crafting table wastes actual resources. That is the twist I am guessing and if I am right, you better pin this comment.
I was thinking the same thing. I kinda remember cobblestone stairs being the twist before (one of the imposter manhunts), so I was wondering if they were using the same twist as before.
