I'd love a video of a laundry routine as well as a video of like a weeks of supper meals! All the recipe ideas please! ❤️
this!!
I can´t explain it, but this video has a special energy about it. Calm, peaceful and soothing. It was such a joy to watch while winding down for the night. Lots of love from Germany, Delilah! xx
Happy your all doing much better now, please dont forget to try finding ways wrong by doing what i explain to you in your last vedio
Love you all❤❤❤❤❤
Delilah’s vids are usually always relaxing! I think she’s just kind of gentle soul. Opposite of me. I’m very emotional. I’d love to have some of her gentleness. ABSOLUTLY love her vids! And SO excited about the expected baby!!
Thank you for sharing your breastfeeding journey. I’m a first time mom with a 19 month old, and am so torn about weaning him. I don’t nurse on command, but it is part of our morning, napping, and bedtime routine. The time is so special, and it’s hard to give up! On another note, LOVE the shoutout to Josh Weissman! He is so funny, and his recipes are 🔥.
My family of 4 was sick for the ENTIRE month of February! And these past 3 days we all have had the worst stomach bug. There is some nasty stuff going around! Glad to hear you are all feeling a little better.
Our family has been sick the entire month of March so far! It's been a BRUTAL winter! Praying for you and your family for healing 🙏🏼💗
@@CorrinaRoseWrites, thank you for your prayers! I'm praying for you all to get better as well. 💗
I love that you’re taking our want for more recipes seriously!! Haha I’d love a bread video like step by step how to! Or “go to dinner meals” etc with the recipes in the description box or something. I just love your family and all your cooking looks delicious!!
Every time I put on one of your videos and the intro music plays my 2 year old goes *excited gasp* 😲 "Mama Lila!! " For Delilah lol and "baby Eyum" for William 🥰
Have you had your house checked for mold?
I was thinking this same thing
i was also wondering this, they always seem to be sick! hopefully it’s not that 🤞🏼
sending prayers!
We aren’t in Canada, but our fam has been sick with something or other pretty much every month since school started. Health-wise it’s been a rough autumn and winter for everyone I know. 😣
@@julietcook1068 my family and the one I babysit occasionally has been sick non stop this winter too.
It made me chuckle when you said you can’t handle the smell of peppermint right now because of being pregnant. Peppermint essential oil was the only thing that helped my nausea in my pregnancy 😂.
So glad you’re all feeling better. Can’t wait for your next video ❤️
Delilah❤ your videos have a way of turning my day around for the better. Thank you. I’ve been praying for your family’s health! God bless you mama!❤
The Joshua Weismann cookbook is amazing!! We especially love his chocolate chip cookie recipe
That cookbook has changed our family's cooking game for real!! The cinnamon roll recipe and the crispy skin fish are bomb 👏
I love how Theo's baby blonde hair got darker. He grew up so fast.
Your videos are so calming and warm. Love the thrift haul!
Whooooo! Let’s goo Eloise and Delilah!!! Congratulations to the both of you.
Excited for today’s video, Delilah! I clicked so fast- always look forward to your videos!❤️
As an American, the way your vowels were written in the background on the chalkboard (aieou) somehow set me off xD we learn it “aeiou and sometimes y” 😂😂😂
I felt the same way! It’s alphabetical order🤓 but maybe they do teach it differently in other English speaking countries. That thought never occurred to me lol!
Wanted to tell u Delilah how wonderful ur family is n amazing ur vlogs are. Look forward to them so much during the week. Ty for ur hard work making these vlogs
we had extreme flu and covid sickness in our house...ive had back to back infections that caused me to pass out ...and thats when the weather is as warm as 20 C ..it seems like a savage viruses season
Literally can't get over how much your shopping was!! I am sure that wouldn't be more than £60 here in England.
I have the same book to teach your child to read and I am so excited to get started with it when my son is ready ❤ reading is my absolute favourite hobby and I hope he loves it too ❤❤.
Glad you're all feeling better x
Imagine spending 300 and not getting any meat, for freezer, cosmetics, cleaning products 😮
Yes it’s crazy how expensive things have gotten, we used to feed our family with about $200 every 2 weeks for groceries. Now every grocery trip is like $200-300 🙃
So happy that you have all turned the corner and on your way to better health!
Yay!! Thrift store haul 🥳 I missed those. You got some great things and at good prices.
🤗💞
We’re starting homeschool with our daughter this fall, and hearing your journey is so encouraging! Thank you for that!
Ahh the best part of every Tuesday!
We can get a reel on Instagram on the number of times you’ve asked Theo what he wants for breakfast and he suggests pancakes? 😂
This was such a great way to end today. I had my first morning off alone in a while. I got to feel like a wife again and had time to make my husband a nice dinner and do some painting. It was so nice to have a stay at home day with you ( even thought yours was a stay at home week) I’m praying that the sickness stays away💜 sending much love your way!
If you can source local honey it’s the best for your homes allergies like the place you live. It will help with the colds and sore throats more than non local honey, you might know this already but just throwing it in incase! Iv seen a major difference in our family since using local honey
My baby boy is 14m and is up multiple times a night to feed. This video gives me hope that he will give up his feeds and night wakings in his own time. So thank you for giving this mama some positivity to get through the endless wake ups! X
My girl is 15 months old today and still wakes up every 3 hours for formula 😁 but it will end someday ❤️
@@musicerature you sound like you are in the same boat as me. It will end, and probably sooner than we think.
@Holly Heaton It was crazy that I thought she dropped 1 sometimes 2 feeds at night but it was when she was sleeping next to us. Now that she has been sleeping in her own bed again for a week she started the same old 3 hour habit again 🥴 I told my husband we can chose 😅 wake up every 3 hours or have her sleep next to us 😅
Mine is 2 and still waking multiple times a night to feed. And she would nurse all day if she could. Every time I’m sitting, she comes for me 😅
So glad you’re feeling better!! And yay to weaning! My youngest weaned when i was newly pregnant as well. It’s such a nice smooth process that way.
We’re on lesson 12 of that book! :) my daughter is responding so well to it!!
So glad your all feeling better now. Love the look of your bread looks delicious Delilah xxx
You're videos are so soothing when I've had a tough day! Got choked up when you talked about teaching Eloise to read. Its such a special feeling and an honor and something I never would've believed was possible for me before I had children or decided to homeschool. All the feels!
I know exactly what your going through with the sickness 😩we went through the same thing this time last year, I had a week old baby and everyone got the stomach bug that last for days, it was the hardest time of my life.
The sickness has been insane this year! My whole household has had Covid, two rounds of the flu, a stomach bug, several colds, an ear infection, and some sore throats and coughs. I can’t wait until the warm weather and less sicknesses
OH WOW!! So sorry! That’s a lot of sickness! I pray u all DONT get sick anymore!!
@@foofookachoo1136 thank you!
I’m 25 weeks tomorrow with my third and fourth 🧡🧡
Wow how special! Congrats!
@@sarahp3144 thank you!!! I had my first and second in 2020 now my third and fourth in 2023🧡🧡🧡🧡 my sweet two sets
we had exactly the same situation with sicknesses...now too much cough left...I hope throwing up is gone...
P.S. the ages of your kids is the absolute sweetest time. Seeing toddlers lately has made me teary eyed because it was such a special time! Going through tween/teen years is rough! They don’t just love on you all the time! 😢😂❤
Oh man I wonder what that would be like 😂 my son is almost 3 & has never slept through the night, I still nurse him & his sister whose 4 months old next week. My oldest she nursed until right before her 5th birthday. I love hearing about your journey and how you let it be on their terms 🥰
Oh my goodness my family just went through the same exact thing. What a nightmare.
Hey so I have a bread tip! I bought something called amylase enzyme off of Amazon for oatmilk initially (still didn’t like it) but a 1/4 teaspoon in the bread dough makes such a huge different for rise and softness!
Teaching my kids to read was my favorite part of homeschooling.
It is great that you nurse and let your kids ween on their own. That's lovely William is sleeping through the night.
O and p.s tip:hot/warm water with a slice of lemon and a tsp of honey does the trick for what you hoing through its horrid get well soon x
Delilah, please pray for spiritual protection for your family and rebuke the plans of the enemy for bad health!
Oh dear I just love watching your videos your life is goals for me
I remember the last time I nursed my daughter. She had just turned 11 months old and decided she was too busy to be stuck to me anymore. A bottle was way more portable (she was already walking and climbing by this point), and real food was way more interesting. I was so happy to be done, but now I'm sad I don't get that time with her anymore. She just turned 2 last month. Time flies as a mother!
I'm so jealous of all your amazing thrift finds!
Yes!! I was SO happy for Delilah!! I liked every thing she got!! It’s very rewarding!
Always love seeing your videos, I'm happy your family is starting to feel better. I feel ya about grocery shopping I'm in Toronto and its soo bad all over Canada from my understand sadly :( Would love to know the loaf recipe if you are able to share it. What a milestone for William and Eloise. Thank you for sharing your life even if your all not 100% hope you all feel better soon.
Groceries are expensive here in Australia too. I hardy ever get out of the supermarket for under $50 and it all usually fits in two bags. Also doesn't include meat.
Yes my kids were 3,2,and 5m I still have no idea what ran through us fevers, coughing, chills, it was so awful I got hit last and it was the worse thing I was so happy when it was over.
Sounds like yours are around a year and a half apart? Wow!! U were busy!! Don’t think I could do that!!
I took a similar approach when weaning my baby girl. I still remember the last time she nursed but i didn’t know it was going to be the last time, it’s so bittersweet
This was me last week! She’s one next week and we’re done! It’s so strange.
I would love to get the recipe for the sandwich bread if you’d share it 🌸🙏🏻🤗
Here in the U.K. that is how covid has been presenting in the past few months. It’s been horrid. Xx
I would love to see a video of you explaining how to make sourdough bread ❤
Love your videos. You are such a lovely family.xx
Aren’t they though??!! They are my no. one family to watch, along with one other one I watch. The other family that ties with this family is “The Baer Family”. They are VERY down to earth vid.’s. They have 5 children. Hope u tune into them to try them out.
I’m curious about your homeschooling journey, you started with your oldest when she was 5 correct? Have you also started homeschooling Theo? Or does he do more like play school? Do you think he is ready now or will you wait to do more actually homeschool with him when he’s a little bit older? I’m hearing lots of different conversations on when you start homeschooling and most say to wait till they are older 5-6. And to not worry so much about trying to teach younger kids3-4. Because you can find yourself taking longer periods of time to teach younger kids something that they could most likely learn quicker in a shorter period once they are a bit older. I’m “starting homeschool” with my almost 4 year old but wonder if I should wait so Cypriots to hear your thoughts on the ages. Thank you for sharing and being such a joy!
we are sick since november last year...we already missed two weeks of church went back by Wednesday we have a cold again, went to church anyway..halve the church has a cold
It's the same bug me and my family have it too down here in Australia. I hope you all feel better soon.
Our home was hit with the same. Heartbreaking to see my 9 month old go through it. We also live in Canada near Toronto and I agree with ya, groceries are expensive !!! It’s like the government doesn’t want us to eat! 😅
I’m American and that last sentence says it all for us here too! Our groceries keep getting more and more expensive and it really makes you think.
Well, u are RIGHT about the gov not wanting anybody to eat! I truly believe just That!! Same for us in the USA!!
I think we are all feeling it with the grocery bills. 😢 I am blessed to still be able to shop though but it does have challenges.
Check out the good and the beautiful curriculum! Lol there are so many options out there. I stumbled across them and love the incorporation of art, poetry, and Christian values
My 19 month old daughter has the same outfit as Eloise! It's the cutest thing. My favourite colour green.
Farmhouse on Boone has an excellent sourdough sandwich bread recipe!
Chopped onion and honey really helps with a cough. For the littles the sweet onion juice is good but the adults can actually eat the onions. (Chop it up)
I sooooo need that sourdough bread recipe!! My loaf recipe isnt the best and that loaf looks amazing!!
Expensive here in the states, too, thanks to the powers that be. It's terrible what they're doing to wonderful families such as yours. Prayers for the best for all.❤
It’s the music in the beginning for me! 🎶♥️
We are going through the “100 easy lessons” book too! My daughter is one month younger than yours, and we’ve had to repeat a few lessons in that book but it’s going really well!
Hey Delilah! Watching from Australia! a mama of 3- similar ages to yours! Love watching your channel and find you so inspiring! Would love to know what brand your kiddies water bottles are? 🤎🤎
Very similar breastfeeding journey with my third too. He’s still nursing frequently but I know that can change suddenly. Sleeping at night is a blessing, but, funny enough, bitter sweet.
Would love your bread recipe! My husband doesn’t particularly like normal sourdough either.
Delilah, I want to remind you today that you are the most beautiful, lovely, kind, loving, incredible and amazing Mumma to your three (almost four) precious ones 🤍 God has truly destined you for motherhood and my greatest prayer for your life is that you would cling tightly onto the promise that God is with you. Your future is so bright! Praying for you every day, sweet friend! X
Oh goodness!! We’ve been having the same sicknesses back to back. But we no longer fear the stomach bug thanks to charcoal and oregano oil!
How do those help, how do you uses them. Would love to know tips.
@@meghanbeichter719 so we always do charcoal if we’ve had a baby in nursery, been at a birthday party, ect. Just mix it and water and let the kids drink it (I take capsule). Hopefully it absorbs anything we might’ve caught.
But if we’re exposed to the stomach bug you can take both as long as you separate them by a couple of hours. For example, someone starts throwing up, everyone takes a dose of charcoal, including the sickie (sometimes a double dose). An hour and a half later we all take oregano oil. For kids I do 3 drops in a little medicine cup with water. It’s SPICY so I let them chase it with honey. For adults we do 8 drops oregano oil. I use Vitacost brand.
The oregano oil is potent so make sure everyone is on a good probiotic, and charcoal can sometimes cause constipation. I give charcoal to my toddlers but not oregano oil.
We have had this combo stop the stomach bug in its tracks multiple times! I also had rancid meat (thanks to my Covid nose I couldn’t smell it). I I never got sick with this protocol. It’s the best!!
We’ve been known to do it for colds and flu as well.
Also- you separate them because charcoal absorbs so well. You need to give it an hour and a half before and after. That includes medication and supplements! ❤️❤️
@@evagardner6013 thank you so much, Iv never herd of this before so I realy appreciate the info.
@@meghanbeichter719 no problem! I wish everyone knew! And so you know, most folks I know take more than the recommended amount of charcoal.
Uggh, yes, the Canadian grocery prices are discouraging....
I love your linen overalls Delilah! Did you thrift them or are you able to share a link?
I was single momming it for a while. We had the stomach bug and then had another bug run through our house after that... blegh. hang in there!
I'm from Scotland your $300 Canadian grocery food shop is about £170 here and that's on average a household Spends here on grocerys the size of what you have there it is scary isn't it (me and my partner don't have kids [yet] but have a labrador puppy) and our shopping is just under that like say £100 to £150 max ($167 - $251 Canadian)
I am all the way in Australia but we had the same stomach bug and flu in the family. This time stomach bug didnt stop in 24 hours.. we are on day 4!!! Its crazyyy….
Dear Delilah, may I ask how big your children’s rooms are? We are currently planning our home and are very helpless concerning the right children’s room size.
Thank you so much!
Food is expensive here in the UK too
Hello! Such a beautiful family. What homeschool curriculum do you use? Do you have a link or video about it that you can share? Thank you ❤
It's expensive everywhere at the moment :( And our salary hasn't gone up so it's hard =/ our mortgage doubled this month =O we can support the expenses but, thank God but it's still hard on our future plans and savings :( I'm glad your doing better
Only a minute in and had to comment because the saying “slept like babies” always makes me laugh. Babies wake up multiple times a night but people say it to mean sleeping well through the night. Idk it's funny.
Exactly! A better phrase would be "slept like a rock"
Would love a video on the reading book I have it but I’m so intimidated by it
Do Canada stores not have pickup grocery services?
that’s what i was wondering!! I don’t understand going out when you’re sick unless they actually don’t have grocery pickup!
We do! Walmart, Superstore etc all do groceries pickup and delivery 🙂
I think every family has the equivalent of "the great flu disaster of '09" or whatever.
Our family's current number 1 worst sickness event was the one that caused vomiting and diarrhea that lasted 3 days. Grand pa was sick. We (mom and dad) were sick. Son was sick (2). The highlight was me throwing up and having diarrhea in 1 bathroom, grandpa in a different bathroom and dad throwing up in bathroom 3, with our son in the tub wearing his dried up throw up from when he was sleeping before we discovered it and crying because dad throwing up was scaring him.
And, I think objectively, we've all been more sick since then. But that's our number 1 because that second night everyone was really sick all at the same time.
My best friend has 3 kids in school. Her whole family is constantly sick. But theirs is the great flight disaster. She was pregnant, and has the older 2 flying transcontinental with her. Husband had work and would be 2 days behind them. She was having pregnancy nausea, and the oldest kid was throwing up, and the youngest was having diarrhea. On a 10 hour flight. None of them looked or felt sick until 5 hours in. She said she simultaneously felt so guilty her group kept hogging the bathroom, and dreading going back to their seats because it meant rushing everyone out of their seat belts and back into the bathroom at the next emergency. And her kids were young enough that was not an activity that could be done quickly. They went through all the spare clothes in the diaper bag carry on, and had 1 diaper left by the time the plane landed. She was so afraid they wouldn't make it in time and she'd have a kid or 2 in soiled clothes and no diaper and have to explain it to the flight attendants.
The bright side of these family sickness get togethers is regular life feels glorious and easy for a couple days in comparison 😂
This is so crazy! My toddler and I currently have a stomach bug and a cold right now 😮😢
Does Canada have grocery pickup?
Yes we do! Walmart, superstore etc do grocery pickup and delivery
Hi where is sofa from?!❤ i also need a good sourdough starter!!!!
I love your videos, I’m just wondering what do you wash your fruit with ?
William looks so much like a little Theo!
I think the kids all look alike! And they all look like daddy Zach!! Maybe this baby coming will like mama and have her dark hair!! Anyway, who ever he looks like he will be wanted and treasured by these parents!
Oh my god anyone remember the joke Michael McEntire had about trying to get his son to say juice? Thats what the vit with the apple juice reminded me of
Okay I loveeeee watching your videos and have followed along since your pregnancy with Theo as I also gave birth to my baby boy Theo around the same time! But I need to know, why do your kids sit on the worktops when you have so many chairs in your home? Every time I watch your videos I’m like why??? 😂 no hate I’m just genuinely curious. So glad you are all feeling better now!
Please please please share the bread recipe!!!
I'm in Alberta. The grapes alone are $10 😂 Hope you all feel better soon.
In BC here and I paid $10 for my grapes too. Don't even look at the price of strawberries.
I love your dress! Where is it from??
Oh yes bread recipe if you can please. I need a new one.
The bread sounds amazing! It wouldn't be gluten free? I want to start making our own bread.
Holy moly that’s so expensive…..I live in Germany. A hawl like that would have cost about €80 now maybe…..before Covid maybe €60
why is it so expensive?!
that bill is crazy. Those groceries would cost me about 60 to 70€ (70 EUR = 100 CAD)...
Can I ask how you got pregnant whilst breastfeeding?
Also what homeschooling curriculum do you use?
It's very possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding. It happened to me twice, to my mom multiple times, etc. It's not a guarantee at all.
I wasn’t able to get pregnant while breastfeeding. I breastfed until my son turned 3. My periods returned at about 6 months but couldn’t conceive.
@@chocolatekay66 wow! That's crazy! I was definitely the opposite. I got pregnant 6 months postpartum while breastfeeding.
At what point did you let William take the lead of breastfeeding instead of offering? My daughter is 1 years old and still going strong. I want her to take the lead whenever that is. I am definitely not ready though. I think I might be ready for her at the 2-3 year mark.
Question: how do you all catch sicknesses? I know for our household it’s usually through the kids school… but your kids are homeschooled. What social spaces are they in where they’re exposed to illness?😢
I know for us, we have coops and playdates with other homeschoolers. Plus church and other things. That’s usually where ours comes from most is church!
It’s pronounced “Mo-Ho”! Not mojo 😊 it’s a good recipe though, JW is awesome
Cough syrup is not recommended for under 6 just an FYI and it can cause more coughing than not!
