Razor is finding his feet, give the guy time. He is getting to know his players. Who can he trust etc. It all takes time. Rassie knows his whole squad inside and out through two world cups. The ABs are going through a transition period which takes more time than the NZ media has the patience for.

Other rugby nations have squeezed off Darth Vader's helmet - can he put it back on? Given that ABs were miles ahead in skills, conditioning and training for so long and kiwi coaches have worked overseas there are no secrets left and its inevitable that others would catch up. Rest of the world has a slight chance now but at the same time it's a shame. Still awesome to watch, every rugby fans fave team if they're being honest.
Im SA. Eversince I can remember, ALL Blacks were the feared team to play. We hate and love them. Springboks playing AB always delivers exciting entertainment. Respect

South Africa is not afraid to throw in a fresh face everyear. An under 20 front rower, backrower or backline. Their domestic competition must be loaded with young talent amongst the most experienced ones.They will never be short of first class players.
problem ? N.Z. rugby is not the no 1 sport in N.Z. now, there are more soccer players than rugby players, there is the hard core rugby fans, but, the rules of rugby have been changed so much, it has turned hoards of ex fans off the game, i have lost interest in rugby, the yellow and red cards and pedantic rules have ruined the game for both spectators and players alike, also with the way they have changed the game, we now have a crappy game of rugby league with lineouts.

There's a myriad of reasons why the AB's are in a rough patch but from what I see there are two major issues that is also effecting Australia. First is the amount of quality players isn't as strong as previous generations, and the second is there's greater professionalism around the world now. Between 1995 to around 2015 Super Rugby was king, it was without doubt the best domestic rugby competition in the world. Now, not only have the European leagues surpassed it, there's more professionalism coming out of Japan, and even the recently established pro-leagues North American and South America. The world not only caught up, in some places it's surpassed Super Rugby and will only get stronger. The question now is what can NZ and AUS do about this? The most obvious short term fix is to let overseas players play for the national team, but that doesn't solve the long term problems.

Everyone else has caught up because they all have access to the same information now, thanks largely to the internet and coaches/players moving around more.
There also use to be a better pathway to the top. You left High School, played colts Rugby for a couple of years and then made your way up to 1st grade of that club if you were good enough.
If you stood out, normally after 2 or 3 seasons, sometimes longer, you, “might” make a provincial side.
Back then, they also had North v South and Possible v Probables games for the best performing provincial players before they named the All Black side.
In other words, you were well and truly tested before you reached the top.
Now, if you show some talent, you get earmarked from a much younger age and quickly get drafted into a Super Rugby franchise.

The ABs have lost more than ground we've lost our fear factor there's only one player in this current team who was part of the "fear factor" era from 2011 upto now and that's Beauden Barrett this 2024 team is a young team who are trying to find their feet we don't have player's who put fear into the opposition and we may never have that anymore the challenge for Razor his coaching staff and the players is to find that 2nd half performance to close out those games close games and be the best team on that day

Changes needed at 9 and 10 that's all. Roigard's return from injury will be good. Maybe look at bringing Mo'unga back. DMac is best coming on off the bench when the game is looser. The rest will just take some time as the new coaching philosophy takes up.

Last Coaching Game plan didn't work last game with south Africa. Hoping Tj and Barret would add abit of speed in late 2nd half, the boys were already zapped.

The best All Black sides dominated upfront , pick n goes, breakdown counter rucks... the backs would then profit. Other sides are hurting the ABs at set piece and using rush defense to stifle the NZ X Factor out wide
Say it out loud, Razor is not the coach for test rugby , his combination choices and the fact that he has the opertunity to select a All Black 15 that can beat any team in the world...why did Bauden not play 10 and Procter 12 in Capetown with Satiti on 8...both the starting 12 and 13 are not firing since when does a all black coach condone that. NZ will comfortably beat Aus, no doubt in my mind, both the coaching team and the players will want to make a statement and Aus should not have the steel to stop NZ. If NZ lose even one game against Aus, there should be some cause for panic, despite them being in a rebuilding phase.
1) Who gives a monkey's about the Black Ferns, honestly? I'd trade the Black Ferns never winning a match again for the All Blacks getting back on top.

Rugby will always be Springboks and All Blacks....in all of rugby history these two teams complete each other. Rugby will not be rugby if you don't have the AB and Springboks. By the 1st world war NZ and SA had established themselves as rugby's 2 greatest powers. A NZ army match tour of SA in 1919 paved the way for a Springbok tour to NZ and Australia in 1921. And my belief is that they are still to this day the 2 greatest rugby power houses....

When did the ABs settle for 3s, not 7s? Used to be you needed to score tries to beat the All Blacks. Now, you can just put kick them. How many times did they kick for the corner? What does that say about their confidence in their line out and maul? Which positions need better talent?

Jeff Wilson keeps asking the right Player Development questions, but no-one answers him. It's easy to say "we must get our Mojo back" (whatever that means). It's "how"? It's also easy to say: "South Africa don't know how to lose". That's just NOT true. A much more accurate assessment of the two Springbok performances is that they (the Springboks) were inaccurate, messy at line-out time, not especially dominant at scrum time, and their rush defense was often exposed. In fact, the All Blacks don't know how to win. Hence Jeff asking Player Development questions. The Boks have got "insurance" vs Argentina in Argentina because they've split their squad. They'll have a "reason", but on their performances the Argentinians playing with the skills they can, might expose a reality. And if that reality is exposed, it will be very revealing about the All Blacks.

@JonathanNichollsjono Tupou has been outstanding and he's lifting his game. I agree, there was no succession plan because the ABs and NZR are so hung up on special project players. They tried to develop Lord into a world class lock but hasn't come right. They're in a good position with Sam Darry. The NPC had shown some promising stars in the lock dept. The ABs need to start taking calculated risks by developing their stocks before the lucrative overseas clubs snaps them up.

The greatest All Blacks team ever was 2015, in the World Cup final you kicked 39 times against the Wallabies, in the semi you kicked 47 times against the Boks, and in the quarter against France 39 times. You also dominated the scrums, and lost just 1 lineout in those 3 games against France. Check yourselves, your identity is kicking a lot to control territory and dominating set piece, the only difference between then and now is you were scoring lots of tries, which you can’t do now, due to the better defences of today, specifically the Boks. I hope all of you South African rugby haters who criticise a kicking and set piece game learn your lesson..
