It's totally normal to feel like your milk supply "drops" after 3-4 months but its not an issue with your supply at all. When baby is first born your body produces 60% more milk than your baby needs and by 3-4 months this settles down to only making just as much as baby needs. This might mean you are able to get less milk from a pump but this isn't indicative of a problem at all! Keep going with breastfeeding insha'Allah. The more you introduce formula the more you put your milk supply at risk of actually dropping!

I had the same problem with my supply dropping after the first 4 months. I’m super picky about organic products and non harmful ingredients for myself, never mind my baby! Look into European formulas, their regulations are way stricter for organic, good ingredients allowed in their formulas. You have to order them online and they aren’t cheap, but worth it for the health of your baby! You can read about European VS American formulas online. The American formulas don’t even have many requirements for the nutrition in the baby formulas. You will find a ton of things online about how much junk is in American formulas (I say this as an American)! Even if it says organic, it can have have heavy metals, sugar, preservatives etc. Holle and Hipp are two of the best👌🏻
If you are choosing to use formula, the best I would recommend would be Aptamil or Kendamil. They have all the required nutrients for your little one ❤

The same thing happened to me. My milk suddenly decreased at around the 5.5months- 6months range. It's very stressful cause then you have to find something else to fill them up. I would encourage you to try to get him to eat purees rather than to go with formula.

My milk supply increased dramatically when I had a Gatorade daily and seafood (imitation crab) daily. 2 Gatorade a day when I was fasting

I like the Bubs goat milk formula. It's from Australia so stricter food guidelines. And goat milk is easier for babies to digest.

You said your milk supply dropped in the last month. I suppose that has to do with introducing food to Adam. So it is normal for the supply drop to happen, as your body is adjusting to Adams new need for milk quantity. Also babies tend to have developmental phases every 2 months so he might feel extra hungry at times and not hungry at other times. The drop may have something to do with your menstrual cycle. So that time of the month you might find a drop then, so it may be hormonal. It can be a number of things, as long as your baby is fed and happy that's all that matters. So don't worry and do the best you can. As a first time mom it's hard when you feel something is not right, as you don't know if it's just a phase and if it is a phase, how long it will last. Just go with the flow and enjoy this time with your little one ❤
It's normal for a decrease, as he/she goes on solids. Formulas are okay. As long as the baby is satisfied and growing, that's the most important.
Salaam alaikum wasn't producing enough so I end up doing formula both children I did feel very sad about it at first but get over it as long as they're being fed

Did you sleep train Adam?
My daughter is 9 months old and I cannot balance anything. I am not working yet ,my house is not clean but there's food and clean clothes. I will start work in a month and my daughter will be in day care just a couple of hours because she is too small
I tried 3 different kinds of formula from Europe and they all had the “iron” smell in them. All babies are different, maybe Adam will take it, but my baby refused the formula after the sweet breast milk, he just didn’t want it, so I dropped that and just continued breastfeeding.

You might need to increase his solid food intake, he's just a little more hungry than other babies you've been around. Just go with the flow and let your baby boy tell you what he wants. You'll soon figure it out, trust your instinct. He's soooo cute mash Allah 😀💞✌

Hi guys this happens to me also u didn’t ask ur mother in law for my my mother in law allahyarhamha (Egyptian) suggest for me to drink tea of frenek I think that’s the name and it was an wow for me I used to put honey on it it’s a bit strong the first few days the smell will come in ur body but the milk increase was amazing I was able to continue breastfeeding till the year and 5 months.
