Japanese boy who did Grand pas Classique was good. Last girl was good ...the Gamzatti solo. The German boy who did James was pretty good and Asian girl who did Esmeralda was pretty good. Didn’t think the Portuguese boys Solo suited him at all. His classical Don Q He’s all legs. Beautiful legs feet and extension . Thought the standard over all was a bit more average this year but they all gave their all. I’m talking about Classical.

Contemporary is basically modern, and it uses abstract forms and shape with the body. Modern/contemporary id say in my own words, it shows the creativity with the abstract forms. Also if they’re going with a company, most would want them to be able to do all different forms of dance to be a dancer because they do lots of different genres, etc. I do ballet as well and modern intimidates me because of the individuality it gives to the dancer.

Gabriel’s contemporary dance was beyond spectacular... it was breathtaking, I can’t remember how many times I replayed it. He deserved better.
