Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues was shorter than Julian Newman by standing 5’3, and he played 14 years in the NBA against some of the greatest basketball athletes of that time(The Jordan era) when the league was way more physical than it is now. Besides having good ball-handling skills, Muggsy had quickness, strength, speed, good court vision, defense, a good playmaker & scorer when needed, a high level of basketball IQ, a great passer, could run an offense, could start the break within seconds, got his players involved to score, a great teammate, leadership skills and most importantly, Point Guard IQ… Julian Newman has none of this. Julian Newmen is more of a “Showman”, then an actual professional basketball Point Guard. He’s more so focused on scoring and putting on a show then actually applying the skills & IQ in order to be a true point guard. I honestly feel that streetball leagues or Sports entertainment like the “Harlem Globetrotters“ will be more of a nitch for him rather than playing professional basketball.
