when i enter dview command it just opens a window and i cant do anything about it, just shows me the properties but i cant change them

after making pathway when i extrude pathway 1 cm then use realistic command then pathway option is visible only ground floor region is visible when i give extrude command 10 cm of pathway then it is visible how can i fix this problem? plz help
