only seen flat 8 grabs pick up mini heston 4 string bales as there 3 wide across the trailer , dont you have a round bale squeeze tom? they generally have spikes under the round tubes that squeeze bale
Great seeing you and Tom together, between you both you have given many many hours of informative and entertaining videos that have kept me entertained throughout Covid and continue to do so. Thanks to both you guys and the lads working for you.
Very enjoyable blog Olly, nice to help Tom out. I will indeed give him some stick about breaking your number plate! 😮😂 🚜 lovely ride out in the Fastrac.
Hearing the Farmhand brand brought back some memories - before telehandlers we a Farmhand FH12 loader on a MF 168 and later a MF 188 - we could change a broken stub axle in 10 minutes - it even folded up with metal fatigue at one time but a local company rebuilt it better and stronger - then in 1978 we got a telehandler and never looked back
Nice one Olly, oh what a difference a spike can make 😅 still we have all had make do if we don't possess a machine ,one of my jobs on the 2farms was getting all hay and straw back to the farm all I had was a 165 MF with a front loader and an 8 bale grapple 144 bales on a 4 wheeler in 20 minutes wasn't bad I suppose 😊 thanks Mate
Great video Olly and taking the Mickey out of Tom is so funny I wonder what was edited out I can only imagine 🤣 keep up with the great videos as always 👏👏👍👍
@@richardmatthews3304 Our local merlo dealership pulled the plug. Merlo was on their back for not making enough sales so they told them to stick it and design a machine that doesn’t break all the time. The electrics in the new merlo’s are diabolical
@@mikeysky8917 agree I think most are the same over priced and over complicated, was loading muck with a new merlo 3 or 4 years ago and i actually stalled it on the first bucket full of muck out of the pile driven lots of different loaders for over 25 years, they maybe nicer to drive but not reliable anymore
Nice to see you've got sense to come and see you to get some straw you produce it yes it's a bit fiyeah yes it's a bit far for travelling you might be cheaper to get it by the lorry load next time
Good video Olly its a true saying you will never make a stockman into a tractor driver should have got old ginger warrior to empty the load instead and remember TOM YOUR DUE OLLY A NEW NUMBER PLATE 😂
I like the longer video's, the shorter one's seems a little bit rushed, perhaps that's just me. Having said that a brilliant video with Tom and is handling system lol . As everyone as already said, he needs some good spikes made up . 😀
I have seen your jcb fasttrack come past my poultry farm a few time delivering wood chip to next door neighbour always watch it goe past if you are driving would like meet you as I watch your videos every day
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer that’s a shame, next time maybe. Can highly recommended all the flavours. 😂 I personally haven’t sampled them all but what my daughters say is that’s they are all fantastic.
Whats the reason for having crab steer on telehandlers ? i see it all the time on the Farming games, but never come across a scenario where i need to use it ?
Haha and i got laughed at by truckdrivers for using a forklift (with 2 spikes on it) in the rearlinkarms of a 85hp newholland. But they appreciate it more after they saw how quick i unload their walking floor.. 😅
@Tom Pemberton farm life it would of made a big difference if you had took off the nudge bar so you were more in the middle and I bet Olly was selling the straw by the bale so not very tightly packed 😉🤣😂
Only if the strict rules on size and weight are adhered to. Technically the day the person passes their CAR test they could take that fastrack an load of straw out on the road. The same person was not allowed to tow a trailer behind their car. The rules need looking at young kids towing 20ton plus at 50k is a growing problem
Tom hurts my head sometimes , he’s a nice guy but he makes his life so hard just to save a quid 😂, doesn’t put mesh in his new concrete but does in the new parlour , but he will learn
i thought i seen it all before when my old boss tried to handle bales, save to say tom has beaten him , think if tom sat his forklift certification driving around with boom out is sometimes frowned on
Actually cringing when Tom unloading those bales. What else would you he says😂😂. Handles all that straw and doesn’t have a need for a bale spike. As a fellow cattle farmer I am very surprised to say the least.
Who spends 200k on a cow shed, 200k on solar panels, 150k on a parlour and doesn’t even have a £500 bale spike #prayforTom
🤣🤣🤣
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer I think you should just like the shear grab make him buy a proper bale spike 😂
Or a grease gun by the sounds of that handler 😢 every dairy farmer I know seems to be allergic to grease! 😂
You forgot to mention the cost of the new Silo Pit.
😂
Don’t use a bale spike every day
Tom and olly the combination everyone needs 😂
Always great to see yourself and Tom together in the video.
Would have done better with the muck grab ! 😂
885 power !!!
A pitch fork would have worked better 😂
So would driving fast around the corner unstrapped 😂
Gaz Davies 🤣🤣

Be a good buy that roller knowing the history of a machine is valuable information
Hi Olly the flat 8 worked well 😀 We had a customer unload bales with pallet forks Nice video thanks again
Great to see you and Tom doing a double act.😂
18:35 great content again
That must of been the best entertainment you have had on a Saturday 😂😂
Just donated to the “Birthday Bumper”. Not my birthday but you’re so close to the 30K.
Thank you 😊

Nice ride out Olly and some entertainment 😂 Tom needs a mini merlo and a bale spike 😬
Great video olly jaysus there was som bangs and clatters out of toms telehandler 😂😂I’m 99% today
Ollys going back and making Tom some bale spikes which he can collect when he finally comes and welds his bucket brush brackets
Great video Olly and taking the Mickey out of Tom is so funny I wonder what was edited out I can only imagine 🤣 keep up with the great videos as always 👏👏👍👍
Hilarious that we are all mesmerised by someone unloading bales for 15minutes. Brilliant
Should of taken a tipper trailer and dropped them straight on the floor, save Tom a job 🤣🤣👏
Another great video olly 👍👍👍👍
Olly blogs eat your heart out 🤣 Tom's on the job.
Olly, Could you use one of Tom's broken shear grabs to make him a bail spike?
Maybe
Not a bad run to toms farm done various bits of in my truck.
Tom's struggling on bless him🙈
Seems a nice lad tho👍
Tom’s loader a mere 28, still young, our JCB is 32yrs old used everyday. Need a TP mug for next concrete job, see which one wears best
I think Tom needs a merlo!
Iv driven many telehandlers on many farms and from what I see none of the new ones whatever colour will last aswel as the ones built in the 1990s,

Another great video Olly. Is it Andrews valtra for sale on the Bownes advert in the Farmers Weekly ?
yeah, I saw that 78k I think. The finance must not have added up.

Had me laughing tom unloading the bales could do with higher hay ladders on that Marshall we had one come off and land on the back of the tractor
😳
Tom has a thing with all your trailers you take around him !
When loading like that the wheels seem to go out of true, have to line up with a light in the cab
just watched ollys video how did you crack his number plate such a good loadall driver 😮😮
Which took longer getting to Tom's or him unloading 😂😂😂

Is the straw u delivered to Tom do u store some of it in Adams’s yard

Hi Olly

Tom was trying to knock off that twice illegal number plate and stop you getting fined.

I guess you were too busy farming to go to Sunday School (or watch Emmerdale) Olly - Its Joe Sy Err. Poor old Tom - never make an arable farmer 😹😹😹
