Truthfully I don't know what would be considered an appropriate amount of geography for a 1st grader. We referenced the maps in OSSS often and I think that was probably plenty but I really don't know. We do Classical Conversations which includes geography so I didn't focus much on that with OSSS and used it more as a read aloud.

I'm doing this for my kids who are 4.5 and 5.5 years old. I'm looking forward to doing this for the fall.
