Same here and I finally solved it. The instructions outlined in the video did not help me, but it gave a good starting point towards setting up Flutter on my AMD laptop, finally it worked, although with 6 or 7 extra steps
If you are getting this error: flutter : The term 'flutter' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path Just restart the visual studio code and it should be solved!
tip if you`re done with path and run flutter --version and it says flutter is not existing or misspelled make sure you run the console in administrator mode

this is my first time using a terminal, i have no tech background and the flutter website does a mediocre job of explaining how to install even though they say flutter is for absolute beginners. thanks to this video i got more info
Please make a playlist with the new Flutter 3.10 and Dart 3 with the web features. Brand new to Dart and Flutter and came on at the worst time. I want to make a website for work and since they use this framework, I will need to learn it. Great video on the basics to Dart! Made a lot more sense. Looking forward to going through the Flutter playlist and understanding it even if there is no web app section.

I don't know what you mean. You don't need visual studio to run a compiled flutter app, and you don't need visual studio to write flutter apps, any IDE will do..
There are times that creating a project takes too long and nothing even happens so I just end up cancelling it. There are also times that the project is instantly being created. I always try doing speed test and I get 100mbps so I think my internet speed is okay. I don't know what is wrong since I have a decent pc and internet connection. Can someone help me with this?

That's going to be a matter of your internet connection and internet speed. Or maybe you have a firewall blocking downloads.
If you tap flutter doctor and nothing happens, just run Command Prompt as Administrator, because it needs access as administrator

Sounds like you didn't add flutter to path, or if you did, you didn't restart vs code afterwards.
