Big vfr v4 bloke here from Australia.
Had a 1997 vfr750, 4 vfr800 5th gens as well as my current 2008 vfr800. They need a bit of work in my opinion to make them even better but suppose its up to each owner.
Current one has minus 1 front and plus 1 on the rear sprocket change which makes a big difference, dominator Mufflers which saved 5kgs of rear end, removed rear foot pegs, 1.8kgs saved. Yss rear shock, andreani fork cartridge inserts, power commandor 5 and dyno time and the hunting at highway speeds and vtec dip is gone. 102rwhp and smooth as power. Rosso 4 tyres. All days comfort and better performance than people think with an amazing sound track. 2500km round trip coming up again from Sydney to Phillip island for the oz motogp. Love it

Great job James sounds a treat, I remember fitting a Quill titanium can on my FZR 1000 Exup & I remember riding it think hmm doesn't sound very loud until I let my mate have a blast up the road ha ha, I really miss that bike would love another.

Another very tidy job 👍 Have had a lot of VFRs over the years, mostly Fi bikes, first was brand new one 2001 which started my VFR "journey" and then a new VTec in 2004 after a test ride and being sold immediately... although the Fi engine is still very addictive but the bikes are so old now and feel quite dated, especially when also riding modern bikes as I do. Have only briefly ridden the last model when it was brought out. They are all simply brilliant do it all, well built bikes that can last a very long time if looked after. Still have a yellow Fi that gets ridden rarely but cant seem to part with it, has lots of good mods incl Maxton suspension, bar risers etc. But I ride other machines now incl a GS which is more suitable as I am tall and getting older I need comfort over all else most ride outs 😮 Great channel, really enjoy your methodical and logical presentation and no silly bad language which is an immediate turn-off for me. Keep up the good work 😉

Very high quality content bro. Watched it all throughout. Job well done and the v4 sounds awesome, sadly the mic doesn't do it justice

Big improvement! Do you still have the ZX9R? Loved that video of you spanking it down a twisty road.

I see that you just posted that video. Im a VFR 800 fan to say the least. Thinking on buying one. Just have questions on my mind tho. Would you say that I can find required parts of it? Engine parts or body parts all included. Nice video thumbs up

Great video. Just thinking about ordering one. Were the flybys wirh or without a baffle?

I had a LOT of faff trying to fit one to mine. Alignment issues etc and then it looked too small for the bike. Not much difference with baffle in, didn't want to take it out. Took it off and resold it 🤷

    First, Su subscribed !
Great video, very easy to understand. Didn't know you need to add that paste when you change the slip on. I'm on a market for the end can on my 800x vtec,
    I'm between Delkevic or GrMoto.
Can you tell me how many mm is this in length ? Can't see on their ebay page.
Also, should I go for a Titanium or Stainless for better sound ? If there is a difference at all.
    🎉🎉🎉

Thanks for the sub! Not sure there will be a sound difference with stainless or titanium. As for length it’s around 400mm. Perfect size imo 👍

Homework: just think for a minute.....😊....why manufactures investing heavily to design exhaust systems for particular motorcycle model ? Answer is: same kind third party manufacture can't even come close to original exhaust design for your motorcycle model.

Standard can is way too quiet for me! I like the bike to at least be heard above 80mph. Adds to the character 😎
