*MF100 is your best overall MagFed option, because the mags are reliable, and it comes with an in-line regulator.* *8/11 or 10/13 Nemesis, and red dot of your choice in this scenario.* *I wouldn't recommend the M17 to anyone, in any scenario.*
Most people that are running mg100s where im at they are removing the front handguard and running without the stock with 15ci or a peanut tank and no optics make super light setup
This makes sense in the context at which Magfed currently is at in the overall Paintball landscape. Currently it is viewed as similar to stock/pump class with RB as the primary round. That means close, fast engagement and bore-sizing the RB to get the best snapshots possible. Playing at a firepower disadvantage forces you to come up with ways to improve your chances and decreasing weight is one of those methods. My hope is that Magfed will ultimately be more of a Long Distance gameplay where FSR is the primary round with CQB engagements as part of the overall strategy. That long distance (80-100yds) requirement will require optics and longer barrels which will obviously add weight. Also, I prefer a MilSIm style of gameplay and so more realistic markers would necessitate handguards and buttstocks. Thanks for the input and we'll see where Magfed ultimately ends up.
It sounds farfetched but let me put out some data for people to compare. Most "combat" rifles have a min. 100yd MOA of 4MOA. This min. MOA is usually referring to 5.56 or 5.45 chambered rifles. If you look at poorly made 7.62 AKs the MOA can increase to 6MOA or 8MOA. That would equal an 8" group at 100yds. Our Magfed accuracy of 8" or less at 80yds would "simulate" real steel accuracy at that distance engagement.
@@magfedranchpaintball I guess I can see it that way… the way it sounded when I heard it is that Magfed can simulate real steel engagement distances which will range out over hundreds of yards I mean I can shoot one inch groups at 100 yards with a .22 no less a real rifle that can shoot that or bigger at five times that distance
This would be a worldwide Magfed standardized gameplay. I don't think fields, insurance, or big manufactures would condone players pointing lasers at each other. Especially with the potential eye injury liability.

That's 1 for the EMF. Would love to see pic of the setup. Also, what is everyone else bringing to the battle? Post pics if possible.

Tank size shouldent matter if we use only 5 mags
I like remote lines and back mounted tanks
And you paint ball people w the no lasers thing … really?!?!
