@TaqiArsenalFan18 wow your worried you are facing a worthy opponent in the final. This is what we've been dreaming fo, being in this very situation proving ourselves that we are worthy and a big team.
Tbh, even at st. James I don't see Newcastle destroying us. The last two times we've lost there have been really close matches we lost by only one goal and probably would've won on another day.
@@HotIce-b9z4nye I am nowhere near the most optimistic arsenal fan but so happy we got newcastle , could not handle goin out to spurs or pool, ill take the smallest club out the 4!
Newcastle will still be the dirty tactics and black arts team we've played before, it should be easy for our coaches to analyse them and work out how to beat them, how to make the most of their dirty tactics to get free kicks and corners, or get one of them sent off. The other good thing is we are bouncing back now, with players coming back from injury too, so we should be able to field our best 11 and have a really good bench. Not afraid of Newcastle at all.
Also the fact that all of those big games are at home in January he’s just a reminder that we have had some very difficult way trips already, and we will reap the rewards by not having to travel as much for the big games in the second half of the season 13:19
The ideal draw would have been Spurs, because over 2 legs we are the better team imo. Newcastle is tough because of St James Park, but being at home first with some of their players suspended helps. Avoiding playing at anfield altogether is the best outcome for our hopes of winning this comp.
We can’t complain as we by far have had the easiest draws in this tournament of all the teams in the semis. For goodness sake, we’ve met Bolton at Emirates (League One team), Preston away (bottom half Championship team), Palace at Emirates (who we should ALWAYS beat at Home) and now Newcastle in the semis. We couldn’t have hoped for an easier route to a Cup Final and it will be a huge blunder if we can’t get to the final with a route like that, so let’s see.
@@BourbonBiscuit.ye shit happens just is what it is , beating liverpool in a final, newcastle 2x and a palace team who havent lost a prem game in 6…not even a terrible cup run anyway(if we manage to get over the line)

Great pod, agreed that Newcastle was the ideal draw for us but I never like a home tie first. If it goes to penalties in the 2nd leg then the momentum and ground advantage will be against us. Btw, you should put up another poster on the door.
Let’s not get carried away with expecting too many signings in January.. I personally would be surprised if they sign more than 1 player and maybe loan 1 more
We will beat Newcastle in the two legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final. Although I'm not a fan of the Carabao Cup but we need to win honours this season.
I also would also prefer to play Newcastle because I think spurs have more chance of getting rid of Liverpool. But Newcastle is tough but if we get to a final and face spurs it will be stress because we can’t let them win a trophy in final against us, but I think we would win ! If we face Liverpool and beat them it might knock their confidence for the rest of season, but will probably lose and they will be on for the Quadruple LOL.
I’ll be honest I didn’t want Newcastle, They are the type of team who will go full strength because this trophy will mean a lot to them. I honestly wanted Liverpool because they would 100% play their kids
False equivalency. Liverpool play Acrington Stanley, Spurs play Bromley FC & Newcastle play Tamworth FC in the Fa cup game that is directly AFTER the first league of the Carabao semi final which means all 3 would and could have gone full strength in semi final and been able to rotate for the Fa Cup game. We on the other hand play Manchester United in the Fa Cup so unlikely to rotate as easily. As for the trophy meaning more to them, you don't think it'd mean exactly the same if not more for Spurs or Liverpool's kids who basically won it last season?
I hear that, but in a 2 leg semi final I think we will all be putting out our strongest 11. Mikel would be mad to rotate for the return game in Newcastle. The toon have surely done enough damage to us up there already for him to get sloppy again. 🤞🏼
Every team have to play 2-leg semis, if Arsenal win semis, they're only one winaway from the Cup. If Arsenal lost semis, it will be disaster, it will lead to nothing, only fatigue and cramp... If we're in Semifinal of Carbao Cup, we should go full strength, and go to the final and win it.
