I feel as though I’m there with you, great job capturing the sights, sounds, emotions and I wish the smells and taste…supper looks great. I can also see Drake’s mind racing with the responsibilities for a safe journey and Mo’s thoughtful calming presence for balance…great teamwork guys. Thanks for another excellent episode.

Great to see your videos again, I loved this episode, it captured real sailing along with the little snags that need sorting

A few years back on the 46m navy museum vessel, when I had to keep watch in the engine room, I always had something to act as a pendulum / artificial horizon to give my brain some feedback of the ships movement. That really helped a lot with sea sickness down below.

Time lapse actually worked pretty ok for the tack correction sequence. All around great video! Thank you!

    I enjoyed the video Drake.
Personally, I really like the head-mounted action cam shots showing how you do things and move about the boat.
It's so interesting seeing all of the differences between our Westsails.
Those rope bags on the aft deck look super handy.
    Thanks for the video guys!

I get such excitement seeing you two cast off in Paragon for a new trip! So happy to watch this video. Hoping someday to retire on Vancouver Island and putter around in any vessel I can make seaworthy. Your videos have taught me so much over the decade+ I have been watching you guys!!

I am assuming that the reason you are running such an outdated operating system is because of the expense of updating to something newer. What all would you have to replace ? Everything? How outdated are the other things in your overall system? Are the charts that outdated too?
I have been watching since before your Carolina days. There have been a lot of changes over the many years but still enjoy watching the two of you. You are an amazing couple.

Nowadays we use our iPhones and iPads with the latest charts and apps for most of our navigation and voyage planning. But we definitely rely on our Furuno in the cockpit for the radar and for seeing AIS targets.

Hi Mark, thank you for the feedback. You’re also not the first person to tell us that the head mounted GoPro footage can be a bit jarring, and I’ve been thinking a lot about way to improve on that. I think that from now on wherever it’s appropriate and whenever that’s possible I’ll film with the camera on a stationary mount to reduce the jarring footage. Many thanks again for the feedback.

AM and PM, i know what that means, but u have been so long in Europe - i think u must be talking seven in the evening, or 1 past midnight. Could be a spot where Europeans just skip your video when talking AM/PM. Nice video said the Norwegian Jan....

Hi, I just scanned through the video, but I’m not sure which part you’re referring to. Could you please tell me what minute in the video has the shouting? 🙏
