Sometimes i really dont understand society, here is the best climber in the world with top quality content sitting on 200k subs while other prank or trash channels sit on multiple millions. Blows my mind.
Yes, it is a "best of" video but it looks like he selected the best as in most interesting for viewers. Thanks Adam. It didn't stop Charlie Bosco from calling him 'maybe the best climber there's ever been'. Charlie might have been getting overly excited, but surely Adam has been great for the sport in any case.
Janja Garnbret last year but also when Mia Krampl topped out a boulder problem with an injured knee by doing a figure-4! She could barely walk, but still did THAT and the crowd went insane!
This guy is such a beast. Doesn't hurt that he's also an incredibly chill and down to earth person by all accounts. He's the best climber in the world, hands down. And his dedication to this sport of rock climbing truly shows in everything he does. Adam ondra is incredible.
As always, I feel blessed with your sharing. It is truly amazing that a worldclass athlete such as you shares so much details. We can almost feel what's going on in your head. And for my part, even though I'm not even close to any competiton level, I see some similarities, which makes you not only human, but also an inspiring living legend
its only a hobby for me but im trying to be better every time i go to my gym so on my "off" days i still watch these videos and they get me so pumped every time i watch em that i instantly want to go to the gym again even though my muscles are still sore :´D
Adam, I am not a climber but I love watching your videos because you are a role model of determination and a perfectly nice attitude. You always smile even when you lose and, more importantly, you appreciate your opponents' achievements. Thanks for this great video, especially the last part :) Zs
Enjoyed this. Hearing you talk about your co-competitors with fondness for their commeradory in the sport of climbing gives me such a good feeling. You make the sport better for everyone. It is a great thing you do!
This post is very interesting. I hope that a competition will soon be held in Austria, where I can see you live in action . All the best for the future. Greetings from Salzburg
Great pictures, great climber always sharing his passion with good attitude, great informations about the routes and route setters aim, usefull behind the scènes of climbing competition. Adam and all the people running this channel are making a really good stuff on UA-cam! Thanks for all.
Excellent video as always. The way you get us inside the competition or your training is really enjoyable to follow. Hope you keep taking pleasure in what you do
love hearing how you think about things like this. awesome episode! i also remember when i watched the hand-jam competition, it was so clear that it was perfectly suited for you. good stuff!
The thing about bouldering for me is that everyone is so supportive towards each-other even-though you are competing against each-other. Cheering Adam on because he made the Hand-jam look so easy! everyone was so proud of him!
Interesting how much strength you have I wouldn't think that you make a one arm pull up. Respect. I myself do a kind of power yoga most don't belief that I do just yoga. Today I made my 2 hours and 15 minutes session. 💪
He has very deep lat insertions, I wonder if this is an advantage, I used to do this in my teens. We only had 1 place near me to practice, after 5 years there was still some routes i could never make on the walls. This is very very hard !
I remember the crack problem making the climbing news and the memes it spawned... one of my favorite examples of why it is important to be a well rounded climber, even if the athlete's focus is competition.
I’m wondering if you experience the same phenomenon as me where when throughout the noise of the crowd you only hear the voices of the dozen or so people who you train with?
One of the best climbers with one of the best climbing channels. Not every sport has that.
Thank you Adam!
I agree, but isnt that the best climbing channel? Anyway if you could give info about other channels that you admire, I would be grateful
THE BEST CLIMBER with one of the best if not THE BEST climbing channels.

Its all about what pool of people your trying to get. 200k is impressive for a niche sport. Any 12 y/o boy would subscribe to fart jokes.
Niche sport
It may be you that it's you that doesn't understand, not everyone wants to watch what you think is important.
Gotta admire the mention of the failure too. Adam has impeccable attitude.
Absolutely. So many cool sends and he chooses to mention a failure. A lesson in humility.
was thinking exactly the same, he is the perfect example for a fair sportsman !
True sign of a successful person. It's ok to have failure, as long as you DON'T. EVER. GIVE UP.
An absolute mental giant, to be that competitive and also still be human is an incredible feat. Cheers, Adam!
What a lovely thing to say?
And you are right the man is a real role model, a REAL man. A good one.
Adam walking up that crack boulder in the finals has gotta be the most legendary moment in comp climbing history
I think Adam winning the lead world championships in 2016 was my personal favorite comp moment ever.
It's kind of amazing to have Garnbret and Ondra in the same era. Those two are superhumans.
Janja Garnbret last year but also when Mia Krampl topped out a boulder problem with an injured knee by doing a figure-4! She could barely walk, but still did THAT and the crowd went insane!
I agree, I would bet that the Japanese guys immediately went home and started to learn how to do a hand jam.
Edit: they did.
No. . .
That crack will always be legendary in bouldering. Ondra's arguably the best climber in the world. Visionary and well-rounded.
This guy is such a beast. Doesn't hurt that he's also an incredibly chill and down to earth person by all accounts.

Let's not forget the awesome editing of these videos!
That legendary hand jam!
Hope they will have more problems like that and see other climbers develop their skill over time

he always happy as fuck to just be there, always a smile and isnt letting it get him emotional. all athletes should have the sportsmanship of him

Doesn't matter what any of these others guys do in the gym climbs. Until they climb a 9B+, they can't call themselves great
Adam is the 🐐
That was so awesome his great attitude is contagious!

great content!
Mazec, ale jsem překvapenej že na takovéto úrovni nepřelezou spáru. To mě táta učil v 7 letech v Ádru, jak dát do spáry žábu...
Adam can you please share what food are you taking with you to the warmup at the comp?
Great video!

Are you helped by CZE team during Boulder world cup ? Because i don't see any coach or trainers with you like japan competitor ? isn't it stressfull ?
I dislocated my shoulder a year ago ,now im doing intermediate level calisthenics can i do this sport either ??
The last boulder was one of the very rare cases where Adam's long arms didn't help
Can I ask what your diet is?
Go shredded
Id love to see how good these guys could become at BJJ. Their grip and athleticism would definitely go in their favour!
So does anyone else use powdered sugar instead of chalk? It makes snacking better in between routes
I love crack climbing, I wish it could be in more competitions
will bosi? 6:00
