As someone who advocates for animals receiving the correct care I’d advise you to do proper research which it seems like you have a good start! There are some knowledgeable hamster UA-camrs such as Victoria Raechel. Did you consider that this hamster should be getting checked yearly at the vets? No matter how small the animal they can get sick and also seeing that this one came from a pet store I’d strongly advise getting a checkup just to make sure this one is healthy.

… aww u should’ve gotten the Guinea pig!! They’ll become ur best friend some once they’re comfortable they’re very cuddly! 😭 but that’s a cute lil hamster just be careful with it … keep ur dogs away from it!🤍
noo guinea pigs need a friend and they're a huge commitment, not an easy pet to have without research beforehand

pleaseeeeee get the right cage and bedding hamsters need LOTS of bedding. when you switch the hamster please make it so its not stressful for the hamster. they need lots of things to chew on for their teeth. ❤❤❤ u guys will be amazing parents
oh and you can sprinkle there food every night so they can scavenge for there food they like searching for there food!
i used to have a hamster and he used to sleep in my pocket 😭😭they love to hide and love to sleep he was the most baby baby everrrr
aw i love hamsters i have one still but one recently passed and he lived two years and four month old i miss him so much every day!
