    If she did not want children, she should have found someone similar, she dishonestly denied him a family, that level of deceit is off the scales!

    What a horribly reprehensible thing to do, she maneuvered Howard into a childless marriage for completely selfish reasons, and she knew it, that's why she used a medical excuse. What a wretched human being.

    Perfect example of how a lot of women act when they out earn the husband and the husband act weak. But never confuse kindness for weakness as this woman did. Now she is alone and she deserved it for the way she prevented her husband from having kids and a family life without even discussing it.
    She may have celebrity status,lots of "friends" and money,but the most precious thing in the world for her she will never have. Her now ex husband

    We are supposed to believe that Edith, a woman, after 3 stiff gin drinks, would then stay silent during a stern lecture from her husband? No woman could do that, ever. No blaming, no crying, no screaming, no ranting, nothing? The author might want to meet a woman sometime.

      If he is 50 and they were together for 30 years and he never stood up to her..she would be shocked into immobolity..she would be shook..she knows others will only want her money..she KNOWS...she knew it was over..The wall is real...she just could not tell the truth..she fell back on her lifelong behavior of lying and trying to manipulate the scene...He was done.

    Great Ending. I was so worried that Howard was going to cuck and let her slide for 'not 'fessing up to the undeniable base betrayal, blatant lying, and manipulation of a core part of their relationship. Thank goodness he had the integrity and self-respect to reject that deep and piecing disrespect, no matter how much it hurt. Howard, you were a MAN, my son! (with apologies to Rudyard Kipling).

    This is such a sad story. Even though their marriage was somewhat lopsided they both truly loved each other. However no matter how much a husband loves his wife he should never be willing to give up his responsibility as head of their household. Although he should always continue to love her as he does his own body. On a ship their can only be one captain and one first-mate for the ship to run properly, and maintain it's steady course. It seems that he sometimes allowed her to run things, out of his kindness and his love for her......big mistake. What she did by getting a tubal ligation without talking to her husband first was a bit treacherous and disrespectful to her husband. Yes it is her body, but she was a married woman, and that action affects both of them. That was a decision that should have been made together. Yet she disrespectfully chose to deceive him by doing it behind his back, cheating him out of the family that she knew he wanted. When he discovered this indiscretion on her part his trust in her honesty was lost. Especially when he gave her ample opportunity to confess and beg, yes beg for his mercy and forgiveness. My hope was that after a short time apart they would have reconciled. But there isn't always a happy ending........Who knows maybe there'll be a sequel where they'll discover that they need each other, and forgiveness takes place as they realize that they are meant to be together😊

    It is wrong for a female to be forced or pressured into motherhood against her will. I will always hold that position. However, that is NOT the primary issue in this story. The issue is the wife did not trust her husband enough to have that talk and let him know her feelings. Yes, there is a great chance it will end the marriage, but at least everything is out in the open. Just as it is wrong to force a female into motherhood, it is just as wrong to hide these actions from a man who wants to be a father. What else is left to say?

    • @SwapnilBBagul
      @SwapnilBBagul 10 днів тому +1

      Similarly the male has a freedom to choose a woman who wants motherhood/children with him and jettison a woman who doesn't.

    • @THE-michaelmyers
      @THE-michaelmyers 10 днів тому +1

      @@SwapnilBBagul One of the primary reasons the Family Law Courts as well as State Laws have tended to favor moms is the amount of energy a female puts into motherhood. This can be summed up by all of the Umbilical cord quotes that have become almost everyday parlance. While thankfully there are exceptions, almost all moms handle the lion's share of the duty when it comes to care of a baby until they are about 4 or 5 years old. Motherhood is a LIFETIME commitment. I could list the names of maybe as many as 20 females who are holding down jobs and have children under the age of 4. 2 of them are Attorneys who are Jr partners in my GFs law firm. One is a medical doctor. My comment is not designed to demean men and their CRITICAL roles in the lives of their children. I am only reinforcing my first comment about pressuring a female to enter motherhood. I can't recall if I shared this in YT, but sometime around the year 2000, I was made aware of a bad situation in the life of a cousin. He discovered his wife then in her mid 20s was using birth control and not telling him. The entire thing devolved into a shouting match in their backyard. Over time he calmed down and attempted to reason with her. One of the reasons he proposed marriage was her statements about having a family. Upon his failure to get her to rethink her position, he hired an Attorney and filed for divorce. His last words to her were she had committed matrimonial fraud. About 5 years later he married his current wife and the mother of his two children.

      @@THE-michaelmyers That wasn't the point of the argument. By hiding the fact women like these rob men of their free will to make a choice. The same choice that I mentioned above.

U people don't feel ashamed of excusive conception of liquor and husband's allowing his wife sharing dance with other men. Husband pushing his wife into someone else arms with a smile and then regretting, that wife left or slept with someone else ....
