I was a projectionist when this came out. The theater was packed with kids during the weekend. I never understood why they didn't release it at the start of summer, it would have done way better in sales. But you can see Alba in a few better shots like at the door of Muds house when all the kids show up, she is way taller than everyone else lol and during the 4th of July swimming, she is wearing an oversized shirt on the dock.
Don't really understand why JA was "way taller" than the rest of the kids in the scene unless she was, at age 12 or 13, years older than the rest were. She is only about 5,6'' as an adult, far from being really tall.

I loved this movie as a kid, I had no idea of my Future Baby Mama Jessica Alba was in it.
I enjoyed this little movie back in the day.
