As a passionate Tasmanian, your video imagery sent a tingle of pride down my spine. I’m so fortunate to call Tassie my home. Glad you enjoyed your time here and well done on some great videos.
Wow, your comment gave us instant goosebumps! You live in a beautiful part of the world and we are definitely coming back one day. Thanks again! 🙏🏼 Sam & Wim
Our absolute pleasure mate! There are so many beautiful campgrounds in Tassie so it’s difficult to list them all but I hope this episode and tips make your trip even better! Enjoy Tassie 🤩 xx
you guys are awesome. my wife and i are traveling to Tasmania in December for 4 weeks with our caravan. we are so excited. thanks for sharing your journey
Really enjoyed our Tassie trip basically covered you road trip, just stunning. Look forward to your next video. Ps Brugge is also stunning with great bear and chocolate.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 Did you go to Brugge? So cool 😎 and yes, the choices of beer and chocolate are insane 🤯 We do miss the Belgian beers here in Australia…
Tasmanian here and i have to say i have always said i want to travel the world but from what i see i have much to discover in my own backyard ❤❤ beautiful video ❤
That’s something we still blame ourselves. We lived for over 30 years in Europe and I’m guessing we’ve seen 10% 🫣 You always forget your own backyard! Thanks for the beautiful comment 🙏🏼😍
Lovely work (and I envy the Patriot with hardshell tent -- really nice set-up!) I live in Tassie and enjoy my bushwalking and camping. Next time you find yourself on Bruny, try Cloudy Corner. Of all the lovely camping spots on Bruny, Cloudy is my favorite. It requires a short drive down the beach and this tends to filter out some of the hire car crowd and people with big vans. The Neck is nice, but busier. There's also a nice easy bushwalk from there to East Cloudy Head. Enjoy your time in Tassie. Be careful and, of course, leave no trace.
Ah! I just discovered the Camping on Bruny Island episode where you DO visit Cloudy. I should have figured that anyone clever enough to put a Bush Co RTT on a Patriot would not be careless enough to miss Cloudy Corner.
I've done the trip too and from Tassie many times... I highly recommend the overnight trip and getting a sleeper cabin. I still rate it as the best nights sleep I've ever had lol pitch black and rocked like a baby haha even in rough seas, I feel like you don't notice the swell as much if you're laying down. Worst trip I had was a day sail... Even the crew were getting sick lol
I know! We took seasickness tablets because everyone warned us it’s a rough trip 🤢 But I guess an overnight trip would be ideal! We’ll be doing that next time! Thanks for the tip and I hope you enjoyed the episode 🙏🏼
We tried adding a voice over to give some more information 😇 Still needs improvement 😅 But we’ll get there! The next episode will be live next week Thursday 🎉 Reach out if you need more info if you are planning a trip to Tasmania 💪🏼
Awesome video (amazing drone footage), super helpful! ☺️ What time of year did you go? My partner and I are planning to go next year but are trying to avoid the tassie cold!
@@sciencea3485 thanks so much! We would say go around Feb - March. Just outside school holidays and you still get some warm days. That’s what we did and we had some beautiful weather! Enjoy guys! You’ll love it. 😊
@@markcranston814 hey mate, thanks for watching! The campgrounds that we share are some of our favourites. It’s not a travel itinerary or has a story line . You’ll end op driving a lot 🥴 if you follow our top 10 😅 Enjoy Tassie and let me know if you need anymore tips 🙏🏼
Another great episode team love your style. Can I ask we have been looking a spending some time down there but finding the permit process for filming and drones a nightmare. Any tips how to get it sorted so we don’t get fined?
Thanks guys! Appreciate it 🙏🏼 As you can see we just don’t fly our drone in National Parks or when there’s a no drone sign. I believe there’s only a few states in Aus where you are actually allowed to fly drones in a National Park. In Tasmania you can’t unless you request a permit. Also, keep your distance from humans and wildlife. That’s our 5 cents but you read a million different things online. It’s confusing in Australia because rules are different in every state. Good luck!
Love the content. Your in-vehicle narration has high levels of low frequency rumble, that is drowning out the dialogue. Infact, the dialogue is so smothered by the rumble, the automatic closed captions do not work. I am viewing on a home theater setup, inlcudes a good sub, and this system is fully calibrated. There is very little useful speech information below 300hz anyhow. I suggest you hard cut off your audio @ 150hz to kill that rumble - it is very intrusive, believe me.
Thanks for the feedback and we totally agree. Unfortunately this is all we have from the in-vehicle footage and we were guttered when we first heard it 😔We still have 2 episodes left with this kind of audio but we are switching to DJI mics for the in-vehicle audio for future production. Sorry about that. Still learning heaps 😬

@@bushandbay 😍😍
@@bushandbay we have a RTT and thinking to get a box trailer. Could we ask where do you got yours from? We are in Sydney. TIA
@ you should really check out The Bush Company. They have honestly the best RTT on the market and 3 different sizes as well.
Good luck!
Thank you . Appreciated the effort. I certainly will check out a few of these camping spots you mentioned.
