One thing that can help, literally verbally tell yourself to shut up, or f*ck off. This can cause your body to do a mental reset where your conscious mind takes back full control over your body, stopping the subconscious. Obviously this doesn't really work in social situations, nor in long running issues. But of your brain is going to do or is thinking dumb shit, telling it to rightly sod off and suddenly that action backs away like a child getting in trouble.
Story 10 is true. His name was Sherman Sizemore. The anesthetist gave him the paralyzing drug but not the general anesthetic. So, he was paralyzed but wide awake. After 16 minutes when the anesthetist realized his mistake, he put the guy under and also administered that drug that affects short term memory, so Sizemore wouldn't remember. The medical team didn't tell him or his family what had happened. Sizemore's subconscious remembered though. He was unable to sleep, afraid to be left alone, complained of not being able to breathe, complained of people trying to bury him alive, refused to be around his grandchildren and had nightmares on the rare occasions when he was able to sleep. Suspicious, his family looked at his medical records after his death and found what had happened. They sued and accepted a settlement. If the hospital had been upfront about what had happened, Sizemore could've had therapy to help, and would've at least known and understood where these horrible thoughts were coming from. He was tormented by what he didn't realize were memories. He must've thought he was losing his mind.
It also happens a lot, or similar things where the person is still fully aware of everything happening. By a lot I mean 1% of cases, but that is still a lot. For a surgery I had to go for, they had to numb the area, but it didn't fully work and instead heightened all sensations immediately around the area. Fortunately in the working area it was some what numb, unfortunately everywhere else my skin felt like it was burning as if I was on fire due to the heat of the laser. My family is also immune to most anaesthetics and painkillers which is a massive issue when serious injuries or medical procedures are needed. My own genetics get stranger from my family but that is a whole other Pandora's Box.
I have retrolisthesis, which is when the vertebra goes in the opposite direction as spondy. ... I was told surgery was very likely and the only way to fix my issue. I was overweight, so I lost 75 lbs. I lift weights and do martial arts almost every day, greatly strengthening my stomach and lower back muscles. Made a huge improvement. HUGE. It's not perfect, but it's increased the quality of life for me drastically. And now I have abs as a nice bonus It wasn't so much the vertebra, it was the nerves. They were all jacked up from the vertebra being out of position. It caused a huge amount of muscle atrophy in my left leg, and I lost control of my entire calf muscle and my hamstring through half of the range of motion. 24/7 muscle twitches and a good dozen spasms/cramps a day. The weight loss and strengthening of my lower back and core took so much pressure off the nerves. I still don't have full control of my left calf, but I have a good 95% control over the left hamstring now and probably 70% in the left calf.
Also almost all of the world doesn't misstreat animals like the USA does with its mass farming. Not even all of the USA does the terrible mass farming. It is a very small amount overall.
It is funny for these people on about animal cruelty, thinking the mass farming down in the USA is how it is done in every country. Sorry most countries live stock are free roam, and live as they are until they are put down for food in a fast and painless way (more pain and stress in killing animals causes the meat to taste worse so putting down the animals we eat is usually very fast and painless). Egg farms in Canada our chickens are free roam and just lay their unfertilized eggs into the hen houses where they are collected. Yes the way the USA does it is very cruel and really is the worst way to do it. Sure high yield, but it comes at a higher cost and a worse product.
Because he is too chaotic. He jumps to too many extremes and often seems out for only himself. The moment he became president he admitted to so many of the crimes he had been committing, and tried to pardon himself, which he doesn't have the power to do. But what he could do was pardon a bunch of his rich friends who were locked up or charged with some really nasty crimes. He systematically dismantled almost everything good Obama had set up that actually benefited the people, simply because Obama was the one to make it. He made it way easier for foreign investment in the USA which is actually a big part of the housing crisis and many other financial issues, because American's don't own the homes or the buildings, or much of the production. Other countries are running it or buying it all up, driving up all of the costs. He did some good things, I will admit that, but he also did a lot of bad. Just as Obama did some really bad and questionable things, he also did a lot of good, thou most of that no longer exists.
Most people rn don't even know who you are, I don't know who you are. You are not only not going to be forgotten, but you aren't even in history. Even people's digital footprint only lasts a max of 150 years depending on what services they used and is those services last.
Orphanages don't have baseball teams ... because the little punks don't know where home is.
Good one.
08:32-- THIS IS SO TRUE!
It is sad how there is obviously no fact checking in a 'not so fun fact' video.
There is no fact checking in any of the "facts" videos

Yes thank you. It’s annoying seeing shitlib politics in a video about facts

I have spondy on my L5 and S1, I'm getting to late stage. Surgery is in my future.

Last one sounds like bs, since Sega is uncreative and is always making a Sonic clone... it's been done since Sonic CD.

Trump never stepped foot in north korea
A quick google search says otherwise.
@@josequins9099 I mean he stepped in then quickly stepped out.
Biden can't climb steps in the U.S.A.
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww is that AI? disgusting
Why is Trump being a good president an unfun fact
i think the unfun fact is that he is said to be a bad president when in reality he was a good one
People are always in denial about when they had it so good. Gluttons for punishment.
