Barcelona Collblanc metro station - the neverending escalator

When you walk from the L9 (Sud) platform towards L5 you find yourself in an escalator. This escalator leads to another one. They all look the same and there's no indication whatsoever where you are and when you're about to arrive at your destination.

Went to this station on holiday but couldn't remember which one it was that did this. Backtracked and found it was this one but there's nothing about it on the internet. I wonder how deep it is

I remember a similar metro station, I think the L10s line from Foc. There was no one there and halfway across I got a panic attack thinking I am stuck in some sort of a glitch as the escalator is not leading anywhere. Just then I saw a man come out of an elevator. I swear I would have died there had that man not come out of that lift that day.

If i need to step doun on this station from the airport, & due to my lougedg is it ok to use the elavator?
