I had the good fortune of Laura being a friend of my wife and I. One time she was at our house and she sang portions of her songs and others a cappella. She was captivating, gracious and sweet. Loved her.
I met her once at the NYAC in the 1980s. She couldn't have been more gracious to a 15 year old kid whose jaw was on the floor.
