I was contemplating between buying this car or GLE 63 S Coupe… wife wanted something bigger… decided to get GLE 63 a month ago. I still love the performance of a sedan.. but GLE 63 looks so badass compared to any car.

I have the E63s Edition One and it seems to be better equipped as it came with carbon ceramic brakes and the top sound system from Burmester. Also I am happy my car doesn't have the new MBUX touchscreen interface I have this MBUX in my GLA 35 AMG and it drives my crazy!!!. Sad to see these wonderful cars disappear for some basically wrong EVs.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an E63 with regular speakers. Also I hear that AMG is going to replace the V8 with the new inline 6 with a crazy electric motor. Apparently it makes absurd power in testing.

They both look like ass (from the outside at least). I like the look of the old e63 better. The interior is still amazing as always though so there's that if you're willing to compromise.

MB hasn't announced the end of the V8 for the E63 it may return in the W214. It may be the last petrol only V8 but the next E63 will be a V8 with an electric motor like the AMG GT e performance.
Is the 999 car Run of the 2023 Final Edition the only version of the E63S being produced for the 2023 model year? Can a different color be selected for a 2023 E63S?

I don't feel sad, Mercedes is bigger than you think, absolutely most powerful is coming. And let me ask you, is the S-Class 2002 V12 engine better than this V8 2022?? Of course not! Or how are we getting double hours power here?
I think because of the global chip shortage, Mercedes aren’t offering certain options such as the Multibeam LED and the Burmester sound system, even on other most Mercedes. All the press car pictures show the car without those features which is a shame for a Final Edition.
@Hass T .. +1. Agreed the chip shortage issue continues to affect Mercedes production. . A '23 E-450 All-Terrain having been ordered in early May '22,,, saw its production dates pushed back twice. . Its latest production schedule is November 2022. . Our E-450 Kombi order is an all-option, check all the boxes build; "lots of chips".
Will this truly be the last v8 e63 thou? As recent reports from Mercedes state they will continue selling v8s till 2030, so it is abit confusing, can anyone shed any light on this
